After a long journey and 3 different grocery stores Grand Union was the only one with heads of lettuce in stock. They were my savior on a day where all I needed was one head of lettuce. The service was kind and quick. Other than that I dont know much more about the store but it alone was enough for a four star rating.

Great selection of products and good general aesthetic. It's always clean and customer service is good. Only problem is the bathrooms. There could be more of them and better quality

Some of their products are more expensive than the superstores or larger supermarkets, but Grand Union often has sales that are competitive, easy to park there also. Good selection of products.

I Love this store. It’s clean, food is fresh, deli meats etc. are awesome.I can’t say enough about how pleasant, friendly and helpful the staff is. You couldn’t ask for nicer cashiers. I’m recovering from a back injury and was helped getting my groceries into my car & the cashier helped pack light loads into the bags so I didn’t strain my back. Thank you so much offering a very pleasant place to shop. Price chopper in Richfield Springs & Cooperstown have lost my family’s business.

Nice clean store with variety of produce and reasonably priced. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Mike helped me with carrying the groceries to the car while I manage my children to not run around in the parking lot. We had positive experiences every time coming here. Thanks! :)

I am very pleased so far at what the new Grand Union has to offer. I have shopped at this supermarket since it was a P&C Foods several years ago. More recently as a Tops Market, I found this store to be extremely high priced compared to other regional chains. During the current period of inflation I believe Grand Union has done a good job at actually bringing prices in line with what other larger chains are charging. Combined with their Red Dot Savings and weekly rotation of sale items, we are once again trying to do the bulk of our weekly shopping here.The Deli section is great, (best supermarket wings we’ve found) and the store itself seems to be less cluttered but better stocked. Many of the employees have been here for years and seem to be very helpful, friendly and enthusiastic. I do wish that the fresh meat selection were better as far as steaks go. But this seems to be lacking in most of our local stores since the start of the pandemic. I do hope that the upcoming summer might bring an improvement here, as well as perhaps more in the way of a fresh fish selection. But so far so good, and it’s nice to see the Grand Union name return to the area in such a meaningful way. Keep up the good work!!

Prices are way too high. I purchased 5 2 liter bottles of Diet Rite and all 5 were flat. I mean disgustingly flat. I also purchased a bottle of Spedie marinade. It was opened and spoiled. I was visiting from out of town. I found out about the Spedie after I returned home to PA. Between the prices and the outdated food I will never return. I found a price chopper and was very happy with everything I purchased.

Deli girl on Jul 14 around noon was very friendly, competent and a pleasure to deal with. A real assert to GU.Subs here are far superior to any other area supermarket.Cashier Liz, was extremely friendly, competent, helpful and a pleasure to deal with. Both I feel are real assets to GU and hopefully GU realizes their value and treats them accordingly.

Small store for a small town. Prices are a bit higher than wegmans, but there is nothing else around the area for a half an hour. American economics at its finest. They do have decent customer service in the instance of double charging or forgetting to give a bag you've paid for.

Prices too high. Try to use trickery to get you to pay too much. Like avacodo 2.99... not to worry though, they will give you one free! Oh so 1.50 each. Stupid written on my forehead? Other things too high as well. Games played to try and get you to pay anyway. Guess they gotta do what they must.

Good grocery store centrally located in the Cooperstown area that isn't as difficult to get in and out of as the Price Chopper downtown. The staff here is generally a little standoffish; due entirely to their servicing the Dreams Park all summer - but, I like that in a grocery; don't bother me. If you're an introvert who likes to buy oddities within normal business hours: you'll find it easier to do here than anywhere else in Cooperstown. There's a good dollar store next door and the Best Western also has free wifi in the parking lot outside.

Large grocery store in CooperstownHuge parking lot for a decent sized grocery store. The fruit and veggie section is kind of small, but they're usually in good shape. The deli has a case with a good selection of cheeses. The store does a nice job in stocking vegetarian options. You can get tofu and frozen faux meat products.Large selection of beers including the locally made Ommegang. They don't stock wine or liquor, but there's a liquor store in this strip mall.It's a clean store. The staff is friendly and helpful. Bear in mind the check out runs at Cooperstown pace, not big city pace. So once in a while you might have be patient.In the summer they have everything families going to the Dreams park need for staying for the week.

A grocery store that caters to its Cooperstown Dreams Park visitors. Open 24-7, it has the groceries you are looking for! And they recognize you are a visitor and apply the coupon to your visits? Can’t beat that hospitality!

Since becoming Grand Union instead of Tops the prices have gotten ridiculous and their deals are not worth shopping. I went in once to browse around but do not want to spend $5 on bread or $8 on a box of cereal.

Tops I saved so much more money and it seems like the employers are no longer friendly everyone was friendly at tops every time I go in there now there's an attitude. Only been there twice because of attitude and prices.
