The manager at this Dollar General is the most mean guy I have met in years. He claims his name is Bill and he likes to kick people out of his store for no reason at all. He also was name calling me using swear words. I literally didn't raise my voice or anything. I did nothing to him to deserve that. He just doesn't like me for an unknown reason. I think he might have mistaken me for a different vendor because he keeps accusing me of doing things in the store that I never did. He said I tossed around little Debbie's which is absolutely not true. So either he really hates me for no reason at all and is making up lies, or someone else at drive line needs to be fired and this manager needs to apologize to me.

Above avg but management and employees have gone down hill and not as well maintained as usual. Used to be very friendly and safe, DG needs to take better care and get it back to high standards.

I was in the other night and the girl cashing people out was not wearing a name tag, but she was young with a pierced lip. She was talking on her phone on speaker while cashing people out. There was a very long line of people and she had her phone right on the counter while cashing people out. Her friend on the phone and her were swearing and talking about drinking, fighting and hanging out. Very unprofessional. I used to work there and I NEVER would have gotten away with that. Do better dg.

The staff was always friendly which it seems is a hallmark of all of the dollar generals I've visited. This particular location is in a nice plaza. The store itself, for some reason that I can't quite put my finger on, seems very congested. I think a store reconfiguration/facelift would be my only suggestion.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SVCE On 9/20/22, I paid cash for an Item, returned item onw/receipt 9/21/22- Bill/Mngr refused me cash back bc the Store's cash register printed a Faded receipt. Lied and said item returned with OUT receiptfadedprinting faded receipts.

Staff were good but the lighting in the parking lot and walking into the store was not on yet and it was around 7pm. This is dangerous

I love Dollar General in Clinton, NY. The store carries everything I need in between my trips to the grocery store, and they have a really nice toy and craft section. The best part about that store is the EXCELLENT STAFF. I really like each employee/cashier that works at that site, and that is not a common occurrence for me :) Doing a great job thank you!

I shop there all the time. No matter what you are looking for they might have it. The prices are reasonable, plenty of free parking and they except cash, credit as well as checks.

It's good place to buy daily use stuff, they have small medical section, stationary, pet food and accessories, kids toys, clothes, grocery and all basic things (but they don't have much variety). 4 star because they don't keep vegetables, fruits and plants.

The one in Sherrill N.Y. is great, I can always find what I'm looking for. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Shelves are always stocked and clean!
