Ridiculously expensive and nothing really special for the price. It cost me 33 dollars for two small breakfasts. We went to flo's with 3 more adults who had full large breakfasts and it only cost 20 more than that. Food was just ok and fast, but definitely won't be paying those prices again! And they don't use gloves. I watched the waitress wait on people and then just walk over and pop toast and bagels into the toaster without gloves on, then butter them. 🤢

Just might be the perfect small town diner. Good food, good atmosphere, and won't require a second mortgage for a family to eat. Plenty of off street parking around back.

Small little hometown diner We have driven by it many times on way to and from Syracuse. Decided to stop for a quick lunch.It was close to closing time .Still served us i choose the Tuna Melt ,Menu was small , food and the atmosphere was great. I want to go back for breakfast. It's more of a breakfast diner. O reminder cash only. ATM there.Parking: Parking in the back. Was easy to find.

We went for breakfast for the second time and sat at the counter. The cook has incredible skill and it was really fun watching our food be made!The food was amazing again-I HIGHLY recommend the hash and the potatoes-best ever!

Most definitely felt uncomfortable! Came in with my 5 kids plus my son friend. Also my friend from GA came with her 2 girls. My kids are mixed and we got alot of staring 😳 . Also the surver payed more mind to the people at the center top area then us. Food was bland . Eggs where not all that. I expected more. Wish I had .y friend from out of state meet me someplace else. Won't go back.

Cute diner in the center of the village. Easy to miss as parking is in the rear behind the diner.Great service & breakfasts. Had eggs, hash, toast & coffee special. Good coffee and their home-made hash was awesome and cooked perfectly!Go to their website and catch the pic of their frittata on the grill..a monster..seemed pricey but it could feed 3 people.

It's cash only. No signs on the door, no mention in the menu. You find out when you go to pay. ATM was out of order so a walk down the street to a bank. Luckily it was a nice day. Food was ok but a little pricey for what was served. If they are busy sip your coffee slowly as you may not get a refill. We didn't. Might be one and done for us.

Stopped in this diner while biking on the Erie Canal path (it’s only a few minutes off the path). Had a delicious breakfast special of ham and cheese omelet, potatoes, toast, and coffee. Old school diner vibe with counter seating. Best part of the experience was the staff. Super friendly and helpful. Really made me feel welcome. Highly recommend Darlenes!

After 4 years of first discovering this place, for me, it continues to be the BEST breakfast place in all of central NY. Between the low prices, the speed and friendliness of service and the actual food (it's amazing), it's worth the stop every time. The homemade corn beef hash is nothing short of amazing. The pancakes are stupid big and stupid delicious. Come check this place out if you are looking for an amazing breakfast that is classic in fashion and it checks all the boxes for service.Be sure to check the specials board when you walk in.
