Would you leave a family member with just anyone? I leave my best friend there and do not worry about her when I am gone. We refer to Critter Sitters as "doggie paradise" as it is a vacation getaway made for dogs; they have swimming, multiple play areas, and group activities most of which seem to involve running. They will even pick up and drop off. My "couch potato" dog comes home happy (and then sleeps for 2 or three days.) Highly recommended for furry family members.

I’ve never left a review in my life but I feel obligated to leave this one! We dropped my dog off to try his first day of day care and we asked if we should just do a half day since he was new. They assured me he would be fine for a full day but would call if there were any issues. Unfortunately when we picked him up our dog was in severe pain and couldn’t walk. All four feet were completely raw and bleeding. I called to ask them how this happened and they said it’s completely normal and just put some ointment on it. After several hundred dollars at the vet and numerous trips, taking days off of work, our dog is still having issues 4 months later. I never contacted them about the vet bills because I blamed myself for not doing enough research about the place, but to make matters worse they called me a month later asking for me to pay for my session, when we had actually paid more than we needed so we didn’t have to pay ‘next time’. Luckily they were able to recall we paid already. There certainly won’t be a next time, please think twice before sending your dog here.

My dog has a better vacation than we do when he goes there. His last visit he cried all the way home. He loves being there with all the others and gets to live an all out free dogs life!! No worries about Marley while we are away.

Stephanie and the staff are awesome. I was skeptical about putting our 6 month old Yellow Lab into a boarding facility because I've never used one before. After my Veterinarian recommended Critter Sitters we did our research and then contacted them to set up our interview. Our dog now goes there a few times a month to see his friends and gets so excited the minute he sees where he is. He comes home very tired and it's easy to see he's had a great time. I highly recommend Stephanie and Critter Sitters of CNY.

My dogs weren’t getting enough exercise. I work all day and get home I’m exhausted. They run around in the yard for awhile but that’s it.I heard about Critter Sitters and thought it sounded amazing. I went for my interview. I have a golden and a hound.I can’t believe that people spoke badly about the staff! They are caring, dog loving people. If you text, someone texts back almost immediately. Stephanie lives and loves dogs. All the dogs behave and listen to her commands. Watch the videos that are posted almost daily.The facility is Amazing. Whatever your dog enjoys, it’s there....a pond, a salt water pool, tables, benches, tires, tunnels, rocks, climbing strucutres AND 6 Acres of running room. The dogs are divided into “packs” to prevent overcrowding. It is fabulous.I absolutely love Critter Sitters and it’s incredibly professional and trained staff!!!You will not regret taking your furry family members here.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🐾🐾🐾🐾

Dropped off my dog for boarding for 3 FULL days. Thank goodness I had a carpenter working at my house because I was out of town until late that night. Carpenter called and said the dog was home by 9 am on the last day when I would not be home til late evening. My dog hates riding in the car now due to the horrible overcrowded and unsafe critter transport. Without my permission she tried to trim my dog's nails and my dog has very long nail beds. Noticed that she trimmed 2 nails to stubs and I know they must have bled like crazy so she stopped at just 2 nails. Staff told me that dog fights are increasingly common. Way too many dogs to be cared for safely. Just a few of many issues over several years.Never again. I love my Rover caretakers.

One of the few boarding facilities that actually understands dogs. They have acres for your dog to run around. Every time I picked up my dog she was happy and tired. The pack formations there quelled her fear of the water and she actually swims now. Couldn't recommend enough to anyone with a medium sized to big dog.

We have left our dogs at Critter Sitters on several occasions. Our dogs got BORDETELLA FROM STAYING HERE. WOULD NOT TRUST THE staff are horrible. The DOGS WERE NOT FED AND HAD NO WATER last time we went there. Your dog's are not taken care of at Critter Sitters. DO NOT PUT YOUR DOG AT RISK TO STAY THERE!!!

Best place to send our son for some love and exercise. He is a name not a number. Staff is so caring and educated in "dog language". We call this his School not Daycare. He learns so much here.

This is the premier doggie daycare in Syracuse! My dog loves it there! Stephanie and her crew can't be beat. I know my dog is being well cared for when I am away.

Best Place EVER!!! Violet loves it! She goes twice a week, they pick her up and drop her off. She is so excited when they pull in the driveway, she litterly goes nuts. They bring her home Happy and tired. A+

I would not trust them with any dog. They would not take my dog because of his breed. If a daycare cannot handle a certain breed that is well trained I would not trust them with any breed.

I know nothing of the services but if their driver speeds past me in a 30 mph zone again like the one did 5 min ago here in minoa I wont hesitate to call manlius police we have kids around here I was doing 30 you dont have to do 45 or 50
