So we went here because our daughter worked here previously.What a wonderful place. So clean, not only looking, but smelled clean too. The staff are just so friendly! Dr. B was so good with our 8 month old cat. She was also very helpful and informative for us. We haven't had a cat for 5 years. And we haven't had a young cat in a longer time. We have to pass a closer animal hospital before getting to Chittenango animal hospital, but it is so worth the drive...which really isn't much more. So happy we went here for our vet and we look forward to many years of going here.

I absolutely love Chittenango Animal Hospital. The staff is amazing. Dr Carter and Dr Cook always spend time explaining the situation and make sure they’ve answered all my questions and concerns. They never make me feel rushed. Their vet techs are amazing. Taylor, my favorite, is so good with my 2 Rottweilers. She sees Peanut once a month for a nail trim and she’s wonderful with her. She (Peanut) tends to be a bit unruly at times. The office staff are very friendly and helpful. I could not recommend them more. Thank you CAH for taking such great care of my babies!

My visit was on Friday, August 25, 2023. During my visit, the staff was friendly and professional. They helped explain things in detail and offered options for flea prevention treatments for my cat.The vet, Dr. Carter was knowledgeable, professional and friendly. My cat was well taken care of at the location during his routine follow-up. This was my first appointment with Dr. Carter but my second visit to the office. The appointment date and time were convenient. There was little to no wait for both scheduling the appointment as well as the wait time when I arrived at the office.I would highly recommend the office and will return in the future.

We had to get our cat looked at for a cough she was having. She is as much a part of our family as we are. To be fair, I believe all of the Veterinary Hospitals are overbooked and trying their best to accommodate everyone that needs to be seen. Dr. Carter was very good with our cat. We were very happy to get her in when we did, and the price was extremely reasonable. It only reinforces the fact that they are compassionate about their work. If you care about your pets, this is the place to take them where they will be treated the best and provided the best care available. We appreciate being able to get in and be seen.

Chittenango Animal Hospital has exceeded my expectations time and time again. The entire staff is friendly, knowledgeable and compassionate. Phone calls are returned in a timely manner, appointments are easy to book, medications are filled promptly. Most important, the staff all take their time assessing your pet, explaining treatment options and following up with care. I could not recommend this team of wonderful people enough!

They never disappoint. Dr. B, Dr. Cook and the rest of the staff are wonderful. I have never had a bad experience, always accommodating, very friendly service, excellent care of all my fur babies, and response to emergencies are outstanding. They always take the time to answer all my questions without feeling rushed, even on phone calls. Very highly recommended.

We most recently had to make a trip to the Chittenango Animal Hospital as an Urgent Care visit for our dog Bianca. The staff quickly got us in for an appointment, 20 minutes after my call. Everyone treated Bianca with TLC. Bianca is a nervous Nellie, so her anxiety is always an issue, as well as her exam and treatment for nausea and gulping. Dr. Bongiovanni was kind and responsive to Bianca's needs, allowing her to calm down before starting the exam. Bianca's history was reviewed, and her treatment plan was devised with my input. We are always pleased with the care and attention our dogs receive at Chittenango Animal Hospital and appreciate having such a quality vet office close to home.

Dr Bongiovanni was so caring and loving for our cat. She had to administer a lot of antibiotics to Aurora who was attacked by a stray cat who somehow got into our sun porch. Dr’s assistant, Baxter, was concerned as well. Well done.

We’ve been going to Chittenango Animal Hospital for over 12 years. Everyone here is so kind, caring, and compassionate, and you can tell they all love what they do.When we had to put our boy, Bunkley, down in 2019, we were lucky enough to have the CAH on our side and perform home euthanasia. It was heartbreaking, but the doctors and staff made it as easy as something so difficult can be.We still bring our little Miss Bella to the practice, and she’s treated like a princess every time. Dr. Schreiber never rushes through a visit and takes time to answer any questions we have … all while making sure Bella gets as much loving and treats as she can!This is an exceptional place, where you become part of the family, and I can’t imagine ever going someplace else!

Chittenango animal hospital is hands down the best vet I have ever been to. If and when I move away, I will still venture all the way to them! Everyone is so kind and caring about your animal. They were as happy as me when my dog (moose) finally tested negative for heartworms. I can’t thank the vets enough for all they do, I love each one of them! Dr. Carter & Dr. Schreiber and Dr. Cook I can personally say are in it for all the right reasons (so are the others I just have yet to have them treat my animal!) the vet techs work so very hard and love your animals as their own! I appreciate every single one of them especially during all the chaos they have endured during this pandemic. Thanks for all you guys do, my furclan definitely appreciates it and so do I!!!

This is the best veterinary practice I’ve experienced in a long time. The staff, vet techs and veterinarian all took time to listen and treated my German Shepherd dog with kindness, understanding and respect. The veterinarian took time to get to know my dog and make him comfortable, rather than immediately performing an examination. The veterinarian’s examination was attentive, and the treatment recommended resolved my dog’s symptoms. I can’t thank all of you enough!

We have been taking our pugs ( Arlo is #4) to Chittenango Animal hospital for almost 40 years now. They are the best at helping ensure long lives for our four legged friends. Arlo , now 12 or 13, had developed a limp and no longer wanted to go on walk. We visited with Dr. B. She got right down on the floor with Arlo to better determine the possible cause. She was great, the entire staff had been great over all the years. They are friends ! Thank you for the caring and experience you provide. The service/staff were very rude! We waited over months to get our puppy into this vet so we ended up having to get him to get shots at Vetco (because they were due! And couldn’t wait any longer! ). We did want to Establish care here still so that if our puppy ever needed, he had a vet. I tried to explain/reschedule the date for him but because it wasn’t 48hours they wanted to keep my deposit and charge me ANOTHER deposit when: 1. He needed the shots and he couldn’t wait, 2. We waited over a month to even get in, 3. We gave 24 hour notice, 4. The appointment would have been pointless for there vet tech and myself. 5. I would be paying $70 for the pup to just walk in the door and then to do nothing for him. I understand there are policies but I wasn’t trying to “”cancel”” and I wasn’t a “”no show”” client. I was doing what needed to be done for my puppy and would like to just change the date for what would be his next round of shots. I don’t think them changing my date was much to ask in this situation. They didn’t want to even hear it. They are SO rude—- money hungry— and NOT animal friendly!!! Sorry... I’ll find a vet that cares! Happy to say my pup is very healthy- no thanks to this Vet hospital!

I have been going to Chittenango Animal Hospital for over 15 years. I recommend without hesitation. They by far have the most compassionate staff, vet techs, and veterinarians I have ever encountered. Recently our 6 month old puppy,, devoured a rising pizza dough off the counter. Thankfully we are able to act quickly and get her to the vet within a half hour. They were out to our car within minutes and were able to help her to expel the entire dough. They go above and beyond with each one of our furry friends and we are so grateful for them.

I have been bringing my pets to this veterinarian office for years and they always treat my animals like their own. The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable. This is one of the best Veterinarians office in CNY. They took great care of my dog as he was recently neutered. They didn’t just give me a packet, they sat next to me and explained everything I was to do, to keep him comfortable and help the healing process. Prices are reasonable.
