Both times I visited this store I was harassed by employees. The women working in the shampoo aisle was aggressive that I was shopping in the aisle she was working and when I said I didn't need help she made a point to keep bothering and moving past me with her cart versus giving me a few minutes to look. She then followed me to the self checkout where another guy was also checking out. She asked if the guy next to me needed help then made a snarky comment saying " I know This customer (meaning myself ) doesn't need help" I visited again yesterday to buy nail polish before meeting a friend down the road for a pedicure and I was immediately met by the same women and her manager Carol who decided to stand on both sides of me while I rang my purchase. I asked the women if she could ring me up and that i needed cash back and she said no i had to use self checkout. I used to love shopping at CVS but now I will consider taking my business elsewhere. I hate leaving negative feedback because I worked in retail management for almost 20 years and was willing to let the first visit slide, but after this second visit I won't stay silent. I urge CVS corporate to retrain their employees on proper customer service skills as this is not it. Also, I don't want to ring up my own purchase. I don't work there. I will not be returning to this location until the staff is retrained or replaced. Completely unacceptable.

I chose this pharmacy because they have a drive thru. Unfortunately, every single time I go to use this drive thru it’s closed. I have an infant and it’s a whole hassle to get in and out of stores. Always a huge line once inside. A doctor can call in a prescription and I can go to pick up days later and it’s not filled - with an average wait time of 1 hour. Absurd. They seem to be understaffed. I know the staff in there works hard and does the best they can, so this needs to be a corporate initiative to get them some help. If you can’t keep staff, then maybe raise salaries? Improve benefits? I’m considering taking my business elsewhere entirely.

I have been to the cvs numerous of times due to reoccurring medication sent here. The staff in the PHARMACY department ONLY are the absolute worse! Every single time I go here to pick up medicine they are very rude! This has to be the worse pharmacy I’ve ever been to, the person at the drive thu window (lady)is 10 times worse. It’s sad because people really need there medicine. If you don’t like your job you should choose another profession.

I realize they are understaffed and overworked but no reason to be flat out rude to customers. Going on day 3 without my meds that are on “automatic refill”. Called yesterday they said 2 hours. Went to pick up today and was told “at least a few hours. I said that I got the same response yesterday. The pharmacists reply “ I didn’t answer the phone yesterday “. Time to move my Rx’s somewhere else.

THE PHARMACY WOULD RATHER CALL THE POLICE TO ESCORT A CUSTOMER OUT THAN HELP THEM AT 1:31 AFTER I WAITED ON LINE FOR ALMOST 10 MINUTES.CVS is a corporate entity that cares nothing about local communities.I had difficulty getting a script filled so ultimately it was sent to Chester CVS after a bit of a runaround. I waited on line and no one ever came to cut the line in front or behind me. They just closed the register for everyone waiting online. Other customers were also screaming in the store. The pharmacist would actually rather call the police than help the last remaining people 1 minute past 1:30. The pharmacist on Sunday December 31 said that he was instructed by the corporate offices to run his pharmacy in that fashion.Walgreens here I come!!!!

The associate and staff in this location are amazing.They are profesional, friendly,courteous and caring. The store is clean, organize and has the best decoration in town. You can feel that the leadership team cares and takes pride in what they do.

Literally the worst pharmacy. I know the workers have a lot going on but they are very rude and uncaring. When my babies have needed medications for the croup and rsv they’re always out of stock. They’ll never call to say it’s not in stock, but they’ll wait till you hike in there with sick little ones to say “sorry it’s not here. You can go to Middletown”. They never save insurance info, and it needs to be correctly monthly - making you wait in 2 lines. Being told “it will be fine next time you come” (it’s never fine) …. I type this review as I’m waiting in their awful line with about 15 other people behind me. I’m going to be switching after today. Don’t go here. Especially if you loved ones who need vital medications.

Took 24 hours for Grandson's prescription. Called numerous times, no one picks up. Finally went in and was told another hour. While sitting, the phone rang non stop!!! Not once did anyone pick up! Waited ,5-6 workers which acouple were just gabbingWhat happened to this place???

Unbelievably rude and incapable people working in the pharmacy. It took many hours for 3 pills, many calls from my doctor and still waiting. The women working here very rude and not professional. There are 5 people and one pharmacist and they seem so disorganized and on top of everything rude.They would never last 20 min in NYC, but this is Chester, NY.I would expect CVS to have hired better people.

Understaffed. Maybe pay educated employees enough to retain them.I stayed on hold an aggregate of 2 hours with just this location today. Now I’m here, greeted by this line. Pull it together, CVS. Time to go back to the independent pharmacies—they never make you wait!😁

I have been using this pharmacy for almost 20 years but the customer service has gone completely downhill. The employees are extremely rude and unprofessional. I will be moving my prescriptions elsewhere.

There is no such thing as customer service at this store. Not only that but you can never get anyone on the phone - phone bots just keep asking stupid questions and pushing vaccines instead of helping you. I kept asking for a human csr and went around in circles after winding up on hold for 1/2 hour before hanging up. They advertise a drive up which is often closed and the lines at the pharmacy are ridiculous. I finally got a human on the phone and could barely understand his English. He was also quite rude. This store is very frustrating and I honestly don't know how they stay in business. Walgreens is across the street...

HORRIBLE does not begin to describe the pharmacy staff. They are slow, they lose prescriptions. My husband received a test his rx was ready & they tell him its not when he gets there or they cannot find it. Today they told my husband that the insurance wouldn't cover the rx because the DOCTOR wasn't covered. Ummm....my rx coverage has nothing to do with our medical coverage. They processed and insurance that we haven't had in 3 years. They did the same thing with my son last week. I'm done with them.

I used to like this pharmacy for the convenience of automatic refills and the drive through so I didn’t have to bring my little one in.I’m not sure what happened recently but both the store and the pharmacy have gone way downhill.I’ve often had to wait 30 minutes or more for the pharmacy to answer the phone. They give incomplete advice and are entirely unhelpful getting your medication filled at another pharmacy when they are out of stock.The drive through is closed more often than not. The lines for the pharmacy inside are horribly long.The inside of the store is gross. They left spoiled products in their cooler when it broke over the summer. They put up signs to not buy anything from the cooler but never bothered to clean it.The local pharmacies I’ve been to recently have had a nicer staff, more helpful pharmacists, and medications in stock when the big chain pharmacies are out.

They're trying their best but are desperately understaffed. Drive thru is always closed and the line inside for prescriptions takes up to an hour. I had to wait several days for them to fill an urgent prescription for my sick father. And to top it off, I had to get another flu shot because their refrigerator broke and no one noticed it in time.

I’ve had getting my medications from here for the past 2 years and it’s just non stop problems to them not having the medication ready but sending me a message it is, to me telling me to stop prescribing me a medication 4 months ago because I don’t take it anymore and to this day I still get messages saying it’s ready. Amazes me that the medication I tell them that I don’t want is ready but the medication I called 3 days ago to tell you i am running out and need more immediately and been waiting a week for isn’t ready. I live 45 mins away from here, waste of my time every single time. Highly would not Recommend coming here.

This store has gone downhill over the past year. It needs to he cleaned, or at least vacuumed. It's starting to feel more like a Dollar Store than a CVS. For the past several months, it seems like every time I try to use the drive thru, it's closed, for various reasons. Today, the sign said the register was down, yet when I went inside to get my prescription, I could see the register was powered on and working. If the drive thru is going to be closed, put up a sign, or cone, so people don't have to drive up to the window, only to find out it's closed. I think it's time to take my business to Walgreens.

For me to go out of my way to write a bad review saids a lot about this pharmacy. The staff are friendly and all but the service sucks! They put your prescriptions on hold for no reason and take FOREVER to refill them. I missed taking my script yesterday, and had to unfortunately suffer. People need there medications, its crucial and important to get your prescriptions on time.What’s RIDICULOUS is that they have your Meds waiting on a self somewhere. When it takes a few minutes for them to count and slap a label on. I told them I need it asap, and there telling me there’s nothing they can do. PLEASE. WE are your customers we should be taken care of ASAP if we need our scrip quicker. If your reading this CVS PHARMACY, please value your customers and accommodate our needs better. Im so close, to finding a different pharmacy cause the service is unfair. Take this feedback as constructive criticism and take it into consideration. There’s a lot of people who are fed up with your pharmacy and WE as customers keep your franchise running. Once again, lovely staff but poor service.

Very rude, and unprofessional. It doesn't take a lot to be a decent human. It's basic kindness, and yet, a couple of their employess seem to lack that decency. The woman in front, with short hair, is very rude. She clearly seems unhappy with her job. Not mine, or anyone elses fault, though. Also, A young woman in the pharmacy always seems to have a very annoyed attitude when dealing with me. I've called several times to ask if my medications were ready for pick up. Prior to having her answer, I was told that my one prescription would be ready the following day. So, on that day I called to confirm, and this rude young woman tells me that they're not going to be available until two days later. When confronting her politely, to clarify what I was told previously, she says " Well, I don't know who told you that." She answers the phone saying " pharmacy" in a very ticked off tone of voice. Once she even told me that the doctors have no idea what they go through with dealing with all of the rescriptions sent over. I get that this is overwhelming on them, but they're not the only ones feeling that way. I have been hung up on, too. All in all, I don't think highly of the way things are run here. The atmosphere is typically clean, and I do enjoy browsing, but that's the extent.

How do I give them a negative one review? Had an appointment for our flu shots a month ago and when we were at the light in town checking in—we got a call (5 minutes before the appointment) saying they don’t have the vaccine (since Friday when their cooler broke—-somehow the phones can’t operate????? To tell us sooner????!!)Today I call about a prescription in my Goshen office CVS and she said I had nothing in my history except a note saying we “no showed for our flu shot appointment” ARE YOU KIDDING ME? My history shows negative because THEY CANCELLED US LAST MINUTE?! Beyond insane. So over the whole cvs corporate chain. Every time we pick something up there is an extremely long wait—-I get it do more work with less workers — but this is ridiculous… I love the pharmacist in Goshen’s store but the nonsense in Chester has me done

Website states they open at 7am. No they don’t. The sign outside states they open at 8 am. No they didn’t. Who is the manager???? The pharmacist is also waiting outside to go in. Need a new staff!!!!!!!! It’s now 8:05 am. Still no one poor management.

I’m not sure if it’s me, but every time I go to the pharmacy, the drive up pharmacist is so rude. Doesn’t greet me, looks annoyed if I don’t say my last name fast enough. I say thank you, I get no response, just the pills. I’m mostly talking about the female pharmacist with the glasses and ponytail....looks like she’s miserable. Hate going to pick up my medication because I know it’s not going to be a pleasant experience. Don’t they do customer service training?

The two representatives I spoke with was totally unprofessional, one was accusatory. This was the second attempt to collect my medication. The window was closed 6/22/21 at 5:00pm with a note stating "due to staffing window could not be open."I returned 6/22/21, but called to see if the window was open. The answered call gave two options. 1 for covid related questions, and 2 for all other concerns. I chose 2, naturally. The young lady who answered the call proceeded to reprimand me indicating I called in on the provider line. It was not my fault the line defaulted to the provider line. I just wanted to ask a question and had no other option.When I arrived at the window, I attempted to voice my frustration, but the window attendant was not only indignant, but rude. I asked how to switch my prescription to another pharmacy and was told with indignant "just call your doctor and ask him to send it somewhere else."What rudeness, no customer should have to go through this. Needless to say, that will be my last visit. Additionally, I will be posting my comment on google also.
