Great place.This store has everything a good fisherman and hunter forgets to bring from home. Like a good beer bottle opener and ice to keep it cold.Not to mention contact lens solution so when you wake up with a hangover you can still see clearly.Lots of room to park and turn around if your towing a mid size boat or trailer.

Dollar General is always great whether I am in my own town or one hundred miles away. The store personnel are always very friendly and extremely helpful no matter what I need. The quality of the merchandise is very good especially considering the low prices. With the app, you get many discounts on top of the low prices. Definitely a good place to shop.

This little store stays pretty busy. Usually set up pretty good and has lot of pretty good deals. Only downside they need to train their cashiers to move quickly especially when there's lines almost to the back of the store. Night shift is notorious for standing outside while Shoppers are lined up inside waiting on them to come back in to be rang up.

I've never had a problem. I do understand they are over worked and under staffed. However the food selection has always been good and never past the date of use. Great place to shop for minor items or in a emergency.

Great place to stop and grab a few groceries or household supplies. Not a full grocery, as there is no fresh meats..... But everythung else. Limited selections though, name brand vs our brand. Overall a good quick in-out store.

Nice folks working there. Great hours, 8am to 10pm everyday. They have grocery items too, much more like a small corner store than a traditional Dollar General.

Dollar general doesn’t care about its employees, they expect them to drive in white out conditions, and allow their workers to get stranded all night at a fire department after working a closing shift!

Nice addition to the village. It helps to be able to make quick purchases without having to drive into Watertown. Some of the items might be a little higher in price or a little lower in quality than you can find elsewhere, but it's worth it if you need something in a hurry. They carry some items that are geared toward vacationers like Chaumont t-shirts.

Much better this time. Workers were not out side smoking. They were in the store waiting and offering assistance to consumers. Usually the consumer had to wait at the registers for employees to finish their cigarettes.

The last 3 times I have been in this store items are marked one price and ring up a completely different price and it's always more.. But today I went in..June 10 2016 at 1p.m. I saw 3 dg workers standing by the entrance smoking and talking. The parking lot had about 20 cars in it.. One cashier at the register..which has been moved farther from the entrance.. Your 3 workers outside.I'm assuming on break..were swearing during the conversation and it could be heard in the store..the line at the register had about 15 people in it..I've been in retail management for 30 years..this was all totally unprofessional. I'm assuming your store shrink is quite high and your company must be able to afford the loss..the 15 minutes I stood in line..I kept wondering how much inventory was walking out the door..3 employees on break at the same time is unacceptable and given the number of cars in the parking lot..between the 3 of them I'm assuming one had enough brains to see the cashier may have needed help.. The cursing in uniform in front of the entrance is unacceptable.. You should be very ashamed of what took place today!! A lady with very dark hair in a pony tail is the worst..swears in the store and acts like she can't be bothered..she was on register one other time and was very loud and angry as it was time for her to leave.. I live very close to this store and it's convenient for me..but I think I need to stop shopping here and I will definitely be spreading the word on how terrible my experiences have been..

Best dollar general I've been to. Amazing selection, brand names, fair pricing, neat and clean and they have a public restroom. Other Doller General's should take note.

This store is not very clean at all. The cashier went out to her car while she was the only employee in the store while also having customers waiting to pay for their items. I will not be shopping at this location again. I refuse to spend my money where I can not get good service.

Way under staffed staff friendly and helpfull but obvisly burnt out and alot of customers that are just plain morons to stupid to see the real issue so get on here and complain about the staff or store condition unlike most places the cashier is also the stock boy the cleaner etc. So ya get what ya get exp. This time of year when its so busy they cant get off the registers its piss for management form above the store level

it needs a complete makeover the frozen food refrigerated section you can't even get down there with a cart if one person is looking no one else can go by now you have the store over at Sackets Harbor the same size store and that stores beautiful when I'm there I try to do most of my shopping there. When you walk in at Sackets Harbor to the left is where they have the frozen food there and they make sure the aisles real wide so you can get two cards down and people could look you losing a lot of money cuz people like taking things out of the frozen food area and the refrigerated area but not in your store cuz she can't get down the aisle I dread doing that I was there today I try to do my most shopping in Sackets cuz you're stores not setup right! That's something to really think about I'm not the only one that's saying it either!

They have a little bit of everything and are cheaper than the local convenience store. I had to remove a star because the isles are not wheelchair friendly.

It's sometimes covenient... but much less inventory selection then when they first opened sometimes it's a waste of time and customer service has gotten better recently with the better staff.
