Very nice local fish store. Has everything you need to start and stock a tank. Prices are competitive or better than most. Corals are priced in groups instead of individual. An example would be "everything in this section is 1 for $15 or 3 for $30".. most places you go each coral has a price tag on it and it can get confusing. I really appreciate a local business that has the same passion that I have toward this hobby.Update 12/26/21: Goniopora and Clownfish both from The Salty Dog..

They are always helpful and have a good selection of fish, food and corals, etc. We go about once a month. Our tank is still in the baby stage but we we ❤ it!

This place is the best place to go to have questions answered by phone or in store; they have always taken the time to answer fully. Also, new inventory is usually monthly. They have pre mixed salt water ready for your tank and test what you have.

This place is freaky. If you are an aquarium aficionado, a must see. Oriented more towards plants than fish but zoo quality plants. Must see if bopping around Canandaigua.
