The best pet shop.It’s clean, the staff a very friendly and awsome people. Their animals and birds are all healthy. The staff explains everything about the doubts you ask. I am very much satisfied and am happy to go there every time I need to know about my pet.

I have been going here for years and have always had a good experience. The workers are very friendly and helpful. Just recently, i went there with my nervous rescue pup who I'm working with to get more comfortable around people and they were SO understanding and helpful with her. I really appreciate their love and kindness for animals

Went in here to to get a two fish for my sons new aquirium. He was excited to finally pick out his fish for his 7th birthday. We walked in at 7:30pm, they close at 8pm. We knew exactly what we wanted and yet the employees still refused to sell us fish. They claimed that it was to close to closing time to sell any live animals. So my sons hopes were crushed because they claimed it's normal operating procedure to not sell animals during the final half hour of them being open. I just think its crazy that a pet store would refuse to sell a pet fish because they close in a half hour.

Clean store, friendly staff. Make a point to try and get you extra savings with their coupons and stuff. Knowledgeable about animals and actually care about how they’re kept/ being sold to homes that will properly care for them.

I went to look at your saltwater fish and this is the second time I’ve been there recently to see what you have and honestly the fish selection was horrible. Maybe about 5 to 12 different kind. Didn’t have any angels tangs fox face or any in that type of fish. The tanks were not very clean. I am just not the happiest with your store.

When we got our first Boston, I shopped everywhere for her. Because of this location, I only shop Petco and I prefer to even shop in person! Can you believe it? A Millenial not shopping online?!The entire grooming staff are friendly and so great to work with. We’ve taken our now 3 Boston Terriers to them for over a year and have nothing but great things to say about our experiences.Working retail isn’t easy and humans can be terrible so kudos to you all for being exceptional.Thank you, Matt, Matthias, Larry, & MJ for being so fkn awesome!!

The staff was super helpful to help bring out my birthday tank to the car. The tank had a nice discount if you are in their rewards program. There is not shortage pf fruitfly cultures if you need to rear your small froglets like my little pal here who is pictured.

I take my dog here occasionally for a groom. I live near a different petco, but this one he seems to be treated much better at! He is a senior dog with bad separation anxiety as he is adopted. They are always gentle with him, and it takes a very long time for him to get groomed because they give him plenty of breaks to calm him down and relax him! I’ve included a before and after photo to show their skill as well 😄

Disappointing in seeing the care of their beta fish. One of them was dead and the other had a very dirty container. If the workers can tend to the salt water fish who require tons of maintenance and not their beta's, what does that tell you about them? Clearly someone needs to be checked out. Beta fish do not need a lot of attention. There was no reason for them to be in this condition. Won't be returning soon.

New management and new employees are Awesome. I had a problem using a coupon I was awarded. I had to call customer service while I was at the store . The store was closing, Stacey was understanding, Patient, and cashed me out 10 minutes after closing time. She turned a stressful situation into a pleasant one.Stacey! Went in at 10am on a Thursday. The store is gross and not organized. I grabbed a cat scratcher, and some cat toys and headed to the register. Waited at the register with my money in hand and no one came to check me out and the people in the grooming section also never awknowledged me or offered to get someone to cash me out. Won't be back to this location.

Larry was extremely helpful and generous during check in. Establishment was stocked well and clean. Great initial experience. Grooming, however, did not come close to meeting my expectations. After a 2 hour wait, I wrongly assumed my dog would be in tip top shape. After a 30 minute commute home I observed a ton of dog hair on my black shirt. Checked my dog more thoroughly to observe her skin scaly and her coat still with dander. This was never the case at other establishments as my dog would be returned with a fluffy clean coat and moisturized skin. Called to speak with the store manager (Katherine I think) about my discontent with services that were rendered. Transferred to the grooming manager, Lawrence, who expressed no interest or remorse for the poor grooming service he provided. Lawrence simply offered a refund without attempting to inquire what would actually benefit me as a customer. A refund isn’t always the best solution but I digress for now on that matter. After speaking back with the store manager regarding having my dog washed to standards, I was told, “he may not want to wash the dog again because he works on commission …. If you’re not happy with us, feel free to go somewhere else.” As Vital Care member I was outraged at her response. I’m rather confident there is another groomer that could’ve provided services. However, that wasn’t an option considered by the store manager. It’s very apparent management, both grooming and retail, is extremely incompetent on resolving customer service matters. Promote Larry … as the other 2 will be best suited for Walmart where customer service is expected to be terrible and a refund is the solution to all customer issues.

The staff in the grooming salon were friendly, polite and great with our pup Nico. They walked him around the salon to get him comfortable and let him sniff around. He came out clean, happy and nub wagging. If he was happy, thats what counts.

Camillus petco needs more caring and patient employees. I wouldn’t recommend this office it’s expensive and they don’t get the job done. My dog left very unhappy.

I've been coming to this Petco for years. Most of my recent visits have been related to my fish tank and Jen in the fish department is awesome. She's super knowledgeable and gives great advice and recommendations. She's my go-to fish person.
