This bagel shop in Callicoon is a MUST visit. You have to order the toasted Cheddar Japaleno bagel with Scallion cream cheese. The texture of the bagels is a cross between a focaccia bread and brioche. It’s chewy, flavorful, and soft. The outside shell is coated evenly to provide a uniform texture of a good taste on the first bite.The owner starts making the bagels at 3:00am and opens the store at 9:00am. The shop closes when all the bagels are sold out. Price is super reasonable. Service is prompt and friendly.

This review is long overdue. These bagels are heaven. My husband and I live about 25 minutes from them, but would travel even longer. They are just THAT amazing. We always grab an additional dozen for our neighbors and they get so excited. It’s tough to pick a favorite but I have to say the honey wheat are way up there.

We stayed at an AirBnB in Narrowsburg and these bagels were left in the fridge as a treat for us - along with some other deliciousness. I had one of the jalapeño cheddar bagels when we were there in March and took the other one home and froze it. I just made an egg sandwich after thawing on low for a minute and a half in the microwave - popped it into the toaster and it tastes exactly the way it did 2 months ago. Absolutely delicious!

Dude, the quality of these bagels are what any self respecting bagel place should strive for. You can tell the gentleman who dedicated himself to these perfect bites is passionate about food excellence in general, not just bagels. Always coming back here!

Five stars aren't enough. These are the best bagels ever, period. All the stars. Actually, they're not the best bagels- they're the only bagels. Nothing deserves to be called a bagel besides these. Divine.

We're from NJ and are very particular about bagels....Grizzly Bagels is the real deal!! The cheddar jalapeno is incredible. Owners are super nice and bagels are fresh every morning. Hoping this place sticks around close to Callicoon for years to come!

Hand made bagels, made fresh daily. The owner is an absolute delight, the food is delicious. So many different delicious flavours, highly recommend rosemary and parmesan or cheddar jalapeño :)
