Amazing vet! Caring, compassionate, friendly and really takes the time to understand and get to the root of concerns. I take my 6 year old dog and my 6 month old dog who has made multiple visits a for a pork allergy and mischievous behavior. Pricing has been reasonable. I highly recommend them!

My dog bear had a surgery to get neutered. I purchased a doggie health insurance plan for only 60 dollars a month. It covered the whole procedure. Only had to pay for anesthesia. The staff were absolutely phenomenal. So upbeat and caring. Made me and my girlfriend extremely comfortable leaving him in there hands. He is making his recovery as we speak and is his normal crazy self. Thank you Buffalo Small Animal Hospital I wouldn’t take my dog anywhere else.

First time client and first time pet owner. My experience has been nothing short of AMAZING. The staff was great. Especially, Kristie and Angeline. I am so impressed. I wish us humans received the same treatment they give at our doctor appointments. As long as I have a pet and live in Buffalo, this will forever be my vet!!

By the grace of the gods over head someone ended up cancelling their appointment the day we had to rush our little girl in (we have never been customers) and every one we called couldn't help these guys did!! They addressed the issue and got her in for emergency surgery THE NEXT DAY!!! they saved my dog's life by having that cancellation and taking us in right away! They really treated her like she was theirs we always felt that we had great care for her throughout the whole time!!! So graceful for these guys!!!

I just love Buffalo Small Animal Hospital’s, new offices! They are incredibly spacious and bright. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. I love the paw plan where my dog gets a dental cleaning every year. No issues this year at all! I like staying on top of her dental health as An important part of her overall health. Thank you!

My big baby and my kitties do very well coming here. The staff is incredibly kind and skilled. The front office is amazing, the techs are amazing, and the vets are amazing. The PawPlans are also a huge financial support with having 4 animals. All of the visits and routine procedures would start to add up with it. Very lucky to have found this place.

Been coming here for years. My young lil tuxedo cat, Boots, comes in for routine shots & exams. They were super with her especially on her 1st visit when I’d adopted her as a stray. She needed a more thorough exam : blood work & more to make sure she was in good health. They were all so supportive about my “new addition” to the Family. She checked out great & continues to thrive.Over the years, they were excellent with my older cat, Sunnie ( the big fluffy mainecoon), too. He became diabetic in his senior years, & was on insulin, under their care. All the vets were excellent & took the time needed to explain his blood work to me, our next course of action & all the rest. The office staff has always been kind & friendly. So important, especially when a pet parent is concerned about their fur baby’s health. Rebecca, the office manager, is a gem ! So caring & helpful. She was especially compassionate when the time came for me to bring Sunnie in to be put down when he was almost 15. I’ll never forget it. They were all wonderful & made a huge difference for the better. New location is convenient and very nice. Thank you, Buffalo Small Animal Hospital ! Grateful for you! Liz

Quinn, my lab pit mix has been a patient there since i adopted him 12 years ago. he had this alien growing on his foot that needed to be excised. let me just begin by saying Im not the nicest person at 8 am and neither is Quinn. the girls on the front line are wonderful and patient. (i dont know how they deal with that phone), and always very helpful. Dr. Kanaby did a great job on his foot and you can tell she loves her job... ive had alot of experience with vets and she is the best ive ever dealt with....hands down. Many thanks to all the staff at Buffalo Small animal Hosp.!!!

I called because my dog was ill and I had the appointment the same day. Upon our arrival the receptionist was excellent and polite which was wonderful. We also were greeted in the lounge lobby by the tech assistant with a smile and she was very concerned about our fur baby and she really cared.After speaking to the tech the doctor greeted us with a smile and was very pleasant to all of us as well. The doctor addressed our concerns very well. We thank the entire staff for showing love towards our fur baby Miss Hunnie. I would give 10Stars if I could.The lobby and room were so clean and it smelled so good. I would definitely recommend this clinic because they care about our fur babies.Also our fur baby is doing well today and we thank you from our heart. It should be noted that they didn’t break us financially and that was a PLUS.

I love this place my boyfriend found it for his puppy and I signed my 2 up. They are so sweet here I love how they handle my babies and they have a really good paw plan my dogs get what they need for the year. I love this place

I had a great first visit at the new location and was pleasantly surprised by the upgrade! Very large exam rooms and a comfortable waiting area. All the staff were wonderful from the second I arrived. Rebecca was great, as always, at helping me get my new kitten started with his PAW plan!

Been going here for a year since I adopted my 2 kitties. They always appeared rushed and annoyed at my questions. Nothing bizarre but no good vibes here.Leaving a 1 star review because during my last check up they diagnosed my cat with a tooth absorption condition, affirmatively saying that I’d need to get him a dental + at least 2 teeth extracted at the cost of $1000+. They said I should get this done ASAP. I asked if he seems to be eating and behaving fine is it still urgent. They said wait a couple months if I want but urged me to be considerate of his pain. I price checked a couple of animal hospitals and finally found VCA, went there for a wellness checkup, and was told that at the VERY MOST my cat has mild inflammation on his teeth but really nothing to worry about.I can’t say if the vets at Buffalo small animal hospital were just incompetent or intentionally scamming. Either way, I am extremely disappointed as I was told to perform a pricey procedure on my cat with a false diagnosis, worrying about his pain and almost gave him pain killers for no reason. in combination with their poor service in the past, I can’t justify a rating above one star.

The service here was unreal. The Cat Lady was so helpful and so knowledgable and everyone was so nice. They were very understanding and really listened to what I had to say. This was little Milos first trip there and I feel like he is now part of the family there. I took him for just a Health and Wellness Check up and I think it was so incredibly helpful. This will definitely always be my vet for the life of my kitty kitty

They are the most affordable in Buffalo and have treated my kitty Eleanor since she was a kitten; she is 7 now. They always give her lots of love and the staff is so gentle and kind to her as if it was their own pet, and we had a great experience yesterday. Everyone is friendly and they answer all your questions and concerns as needed, and they don't shame you. My only upset is that my appointment was at 4:20 and I didn't get pulled back until 4:55, but it was busy. Maybe short staffed, but Eleanor was given great treatment and we weren't rushed around at all, so that made up for the wait. I really love this vet office!!

My husband and I had an appt. Scheduled for my German Shepherd he had a bad ear infection. When we got in the car to take him to the vet and our car wasn't working. My husband called to let them know and they told him he would have to put a down payment. We have been with them for years and we ended up paying over $5,000 because my dog needed a lot. I don't think we will be going there again.
