Beautiful shop and corals. I've been a customer online for years but this was my first chance to visit. I bought some beautiful SPS from Joe. I mean really stunning pieces. I was leaving the next day and they had it all packed for me and ready to pickup. I'm glad I live a good distance from here or I'd probably be spending far too much money. 🙂 Thanks to Joe and all the folks at ARC 😁

This place is amazing, great tanks, healthy fish, great staff. You can definitely tell the difference when you find a store that cares about the livestock and customers vs one that doesnt which there are many around. Never gotten bad livestock from here. Keep it up ARC you're my go to!

This shop is amazing! There are more corals and types of fish in this store than I have ever seen before in one location! I can't believe the quality, the selection, and the people! Dave was an amazing help, he got us exactly what we needed and picked out two amazing clownfish for us! We will definitely be back!

Stopped at ARC today to pick up a light for my new reef tank and ended up spending almost an hour picking up knowledge from the staff. The corals were very impressive bright polyps opened and extended. They also have a huge selection of tank raisedclown fish on site. I drove almost 2 hours (Erie,PA) and I will definitely travel back there whenever I am ready to stock corals and fish. Very pleased customer.If the owner reads this thank your employees for making the experience great.

Had an amazing experience! All staff was very informative and helpful. They helped us add the perfect Clowns to our saltwater aquarium and we look forward to going back to purchase their beautiful corals!! We drove from Erie PA to check out "A Reef Creation" and it was very much worth the trip, we will definitely be going back and highly recommend to all Salt Water Aquarium owners!!! ARC is the best place to go for corals in the area. Great prices and quality livestock! And the staff is super helpful, someone took the time to show me how they frag some of their corals when I mentioned I had some frags die after cutting them.

The best reef shop in upstate NY, and it's not close. Clean, extremely well maintained, with a great selection overall. Fish selection is usually decent, but Randy and the crew there will happily order anything you want with their next fish shipment. Huge selection of corals, though many are high end, so be prepared for the associated pricing. Randy and Chris do a good job keeping frags on the lower end stocked as well, though. Also, if you every need equipment, they can often order what you want for the same or less than places like Bulk Reef Supply or Marine Depot, and with faster shipping to boot! Lastly, the team working there, the owner Randy, Chris, Dave, and Jerry are top notch. Never pushy, always honest and knowledgeable.

Being fairly new with marine systems I was looking for as much info. as possible and Dan, Randy, Phil and Kyle have been very helpful with the sometimes over whelming details involved in this hobby!! There have been times when they are busy with others (they 're busy for good reason) but the wait is worth picking the brains of the knowledgeable staff. Did have a few problems with things I bought (human error related) and Randy was very fair with with making things right. They have a nice selection of tank related items as well as fish and corals. I now find myself very happy to admit A.R.C. is my only supplier for all my salt water needs.

Everyone in the store is friendly, focused, helpful, and VERY knowledgeable.Wonderful, beautiful, and healthy corals and fish.If you're looking for reef tank animals and/or supplies in or around Buffalo, this is the place!Also; with regard to the person who gave a bad rating: shame on you for not testing salinity before putting it in the tank. I'm a newbie and know better. You shouldn't give Randy and his crew a bad rap for your incompetence.

These guy have some high end euphyllia. Definitely the best selection in the area. I am visiting from queens and I have to say bravo!. They have any of the named torches you would look for in the same tank. My only complaint is pricing. I paid $400 for my holy grail in long Island (east of queens). These guys have the same torch for over $1000. I would assume some of the extra money goes towards the fact a good handful of the torches have been aquacultured. Other then the pricing, it seems these guys have everything in check. Definitely the best I've seen in the area. I went to two more lfs in a 20 minute radius and was extremely disappointed in those.

I've been a customer since the store opened; there's absolutely nothing else like it in WNY. Randy and his staff are incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and take the time with each customer to ensure you know what you're getting in fish and livestock. It's the *only* place I shop in Buffalo for saltwater livestock and hard goods; if they don't have it, they'll get it for you!No better place in WNY!

Great place for any reefer. Great dry goods, corals, fish, etc. I feel like they used to have a little more variety in fish, but lots of different clown fish usually in stock. They usually have a good variety of pods as well.

Very Very good saltwater store. They have everything you need plus some. Randy is a great guy as well as Phil and Chris. I'm new to the Hobby but these guys always answer questions honestly and helpfully. They won't sell you something to make money. If its not right for your tank or setup, they'll tell you. They can order basically any size tank as well as drill holes in them too for a small fee. They also sell top of the line products. I just bought a Radion XR15w which is a great LED light. They offer the same deals and prices that you will find on the internet for almost every item. You may pay a tad more for the fish and corals compared to online but c'mon, you take them right home with you, no shipping in a box, and you're supporting their store. REMEMBER you can't see these guys from genesee street, you have to go down the commercial business park entrance to get to them and take a left. 2 Thumbs up!
