Visited this store a few times and it was a good experience. Went there in search of a dog for our apartment and ended up getting fishes in stead. The staff was preoccupied so we had to wait but for the most part they were nice and they gave us all the info we needed to get our fish tank up and running and they have ALL the necessary tools you need from the fish tank, to the stones and pump, to the thermostat and even the tank pump etc. They have a wide variety of pets to choose from fishes, turtles, chameleons, parrots, bearded dragons, hamsters, salt water fishes, snails, shrimps, frogs and many more. Make sure to give them a visit. Me n my wife visited the Avenue D location and they are open till 9 PM.

The staff was extremely friendly towards my dog (Pitbull) showing him where all the good stuff was. They were kind, and helpful. This is my local store so we always make sure to add a stop in during his morning walks

My experience went well, there was a male and female doctors assistant they are AWSOME! Very helpful and attentive. I'm sorry I don't recall their names. They greet everyone with a smile and always go that extra mile. Next time I will ask for their names.

I was extremely nervous bringing my dog . I would have to leave him and I never left him before . He wasn't happy but meeting Sabrina made me feel so much better . Great job and even kind to this panic mom . Thanks so much

Been trying to check the status of my order all day, I’ve called multiple times, and had an employee pick up the phone and hang up without saying a word twice. Wont do an online pick up from here again, horrible customer service.

The staff was kind, he even went out his way to help me find what I was looking for. One of the girls working there literally made me dog happy by giving her attention. The Vet part even let me weigh my dog though I didn’t pay for services

The service is poor quality. I was followed around the store by employees as if I was going to steal.I asked an employee about a leash; she gave me the wrong one than pointed to the label and clearly had literacy problems when she read it wrong and said "I am too busy to stop and answer more questions' then walked away.They refused to exchange my unused merchandise, and the kid behind the counter said "I'm sorry bro that's store policy". Meanwhile I am old enough to be that employees father.It's okay though "bro +staff". I already refuted the charge with bank, and have the district mangers number. Sorry "bro" there nothing I can do but call him...How do you say, oh yeah; "it's customer policy".

The sales rep suggested I buy a different type of dog food for my pitbull puppy who's four and half weeks, she got diarrhea. Its a complete mess. She still have diarrhea. I'm mad I paid all of this money for my baby to get sick.

Very Frustrating!!! Amazon has this location listed for returns. When I arrived there were orange signs taped to the doors stating there were NO Amazon returns at this location. What a headache. No other way to change shipping option without calling. Who is to blame? Petco or Amazon?

Store was clean, didn't have much on the shelves, well since corona haven't been much supplies in store, since we r all going online. Great customer service, helped me find what I wanted some algae cleaners, got 2 snail. They look nice and cleaned up my tank.

Teddy is always a little nervous to go, but the lady was very gentle with him and courteous.I bought cat litter & the cashier helped me take it to my car.What great customer service.I like to go Petco for most of my pet shopping now. They have a lot of cat food options, my cat likes Wellness brand and they sell it in bulk.Enjoy!Adopt Don't Shop

I went to petco for some supplies for my new puppy. Edwardo service was phenomenal. Let me start off by saying we got there 30 minutes before they closed and when I tell you, he took his time to help us find the products. He even took the extra mile to help us price match some of our items. I’m seeing recent reviews where they may have been some complaints about the staff but I have to say I have received nothing but exceptional service tonight. Thank you Edwardo for all your help! Keep being as excellent as you are ⭐️🙏🏾💯 sb I got her a dress there ❤️

I was basically just dropping an item to be returned to amazon not to purchase any pet item or pet, but the guy who helped me was very nice and helpful & I even got a 20% gift card. It wasn't crowded when I got there, the service was fast

Good selection of fish. Way more than pet smart. I’m a beginner so the lady was able recommend me to good beginner fish for my tank. I choose two bala sharks and two rainbow sharks. So far so good
