Just absolutely irritating. I understand door dash is a third party but make sure there’s an option for all the toppings. Me and my spouse placed an order due to the location always being busy (and being 9months pregnant). We added what was available for toppings and put in the notes the rest. We got our order and nothing from the note was added no communication. Didn’t mind paying at the location but they could have communicated thankfully we checked before going home.Update : Wasn’t asking for free toppings how about you contact third party vendors and make all toppings available to add.

The custard is good, but the staff was not very friendly and the ice cream was melting down the sides before she was even done making it. Also the cone was completely empty, for $7 I’d hope you would get your money’s worth.Also this has nothing to do with my rating, but if you look at some of the reviews you can see the owner is supper argumentative, and not very professional.

We love this local gem. We frequently stop in and grab our favorite flavor of the day and drive down to watch the sun set over the Canal. It provides brockport with a familiar and sweet reminder of a childhood favorite!

The ice cream was fine but it was already melting when we got it. The servers were rushed and annoyed that we were there. Just go to Bill Grays for abbotts they do a better job there and it’s practically next door

We were sitting there eating our ice cream in the dining room and the girl told us we have to leave because they close at 10 , and we were halfway through our ice cream cones , we are in our sixties and our mother was with us at age 87 , she treated us like total trash , so disgusting and uncalled for !!! We Will never ever return to any Abbott's Frozen Custard facilities again !!! These young girls need to learn respect !!! The occurrence happened at 9:35 p.m. when we called before we got to your establishment the girl said they were open till 10 , if she would have told us that we could not eat in the dining-room we would have never bought the ice cream !

I give two stars only because the custard is delicious. I have been there a few times hoping the poor service was just a fluke thing. Sadly, it appears it was not. I have yet to receive good customer service. The servers always act like you are bothering them. They are far from friendly. I want to add that this review is based off of my last visit on 3/18/22.

Sprinkles everywhere on the ground when I walked in. I almost slipped and broke a hip. The McFlurry I had at McDonald’s was 10x better and cheaper!!!!!! I don’t know who’s in charge of this place!! Shameful!!

Horrible visit. Went in and ordered one Sundae, was charged for two. Trying to get the refund for the one they mistakenly charged me for was like pulling teeth and then they got it wrong on top of it. By the time they came around to making the Sundae, I received a small when I ordered a large. When I told the cashier she gave me incorrect change back, she just shrugged her shoulders and said so? When the shift manager came to take over the transaction, I had to explain to her how to make the correct change. In the end, I got my Sundae, albeit the wrong size. Oh, the clerk never made the sundae, the manager had to do it. The clerk decided to go hide in the back until I was gone. So I still technically didn’t get my money’s worth even with my refund because they didn’t give me as much product as I ordered. Will not be going back. Sad, because in the summertime we like to stop and give them our business.

The ice cream is great; however, we had a gift card to Abbott's and when I tried to use it there was a sign that said this particular branch doesn't have the necessary equipment to process gift cards. That seems ridiculous to sell gift cards to people that not all stores will honor.

My first experience with this ice cream joint in particular was very positive. The banana barrel fed two grown adults with ample left over! Great prices/portions and the girls service behind the counter was awesome!

Excellent frozen custard as usual but only 4 stars because there was a sign stating there was seating in the back when there truly wasn't any. Please, especially during mask requirements, don't post false signage. Love the service and the staff! You won't be sorry if you go!!

Really disappointed with this location. I ordered a kiddie chocolate vanilla twist in a dish and was given half of the cup filled. I went to the Greece location the day before and it was filled to the top, isn't that common sense? The owner of this location was the one who served me and she was very rude, short with people and not helpful at all. When we asked if she could give me just a little bit more in the cup we were told "what you ordered is for a 3 year old. You can pay for the bigger size." Really terrible way to run a business. No wonder why her previous employees couldn't wait to leave that place.

amazing Custard & love the staff & well kept, i enjoy my visit every time. update only 4*,would of been 5 but the comments very rude. there was a big mistake leading to some personal troubles but it was tooken care of quickly with no issues. My first review was 5* update to 3* with the mistake. updating my review again with 4*. As people should. Reviews are ment to give others an idea of your existence good or bad! But i have to say the comment here is extremely rude. To answer, the store was closed an the fallowing day i immediately contacted the online chat offered, due to the hour, i didn't hear back for a handfull of hours an in that chat i was VERY UNDERSTANDING! Saying it was a simple mistake of an 8 being accidentally added to a 18.99 order charging me 189.98$ an it was again tooken care of quickly. i always update my reviews. No need to ... GET UPSET. I dont lie in my reviews. SIMPLY just posted my existence. I love love visiting brockports location. Once almost every week.dont loss customers with a temper.The Custard is amazing as well as the staff.I also tell like everyone ik to go an give it a try an have brought some friends with me on my vist. I buy 5 chocolate frozen bananas, strawberry sunday an a pint everytime. Its all perfect everytime.You should be more understanding an see it from the customers point of veiw. It scared me as i only have 200. To live off of for the month after bills.

Not very sanitary. Employees are constantly touching their faces, pants and credit cards then touching ice cream and toppings. Food is dropped on the counter then put back in to the container or into their mouth. Employees need to wear gloves while handling the food.

Went yesterday to take my kids for icecream and the icecream literally was melting while she was making the cone. I do understand Abbots serve soft icecream , but come on...the icecream was melting down the sides as I paid for our order. What really made me want to leave a review is the fact that no one serving wears a mask or gloves, In 2021 when Covid is still a thing. I dont care if they are vaccinated or not seeing as how people who are vaccinated are still catching it AND doesnt have to show symptoms to be positive. One girl handled money and then went straight to the cooler to prepare a cone 😳. Money,..bills and coins, the most dirtiest thing in the world.When I mentioned it they gave me attitude as if I offended them but continued on and only put 1 glove on. While handling food , gloves should be a requirement. How many things they touch a day , then go serve somebody food. Smh

So excited that Abbott's in Brockport is now open for the season! I have missed their chocolate custard. It is so smooth and silky, a welcomed treat at the end of a long day.

Abbott's is a Rochester iconic ice cream place. Frozen custard rather than ice cream. Softer than hard ice cream; richer than soft serve. Yummy. Chocolate almond is my favorite.
