I love my new fence! Mike was very helpful in working with me and my neighbor to get pricing on all the options that interested us and scheduling installation in a timely manner. His crew did great work--especially considering all the trees and shrubs in some of the areas where they were installing the fence--and cleaned up well when they were done. 15 years ago I had a vinyl fence installed by a different company, recently I needed some repairs done on the fence. The original company would not come down to look at the repairs need. I had to send pictures and explanations of the work needed. IT took 2 months and a number of phone calls to get a response. And it was a vague response.So I went to Carls fence in Bethpage, on Hicksville road. I went in and explained to Rob what I needed done, showed him the pictures. He came that evening looked at everything, Explained the repairs to me and gave me a very fair price. He was very nice. In one and a half weeks the work was done by one of his crews. The crew was great, did a great job. I am very happy.Carls fence treated me like they did the original installation themselves. The original company was not very nice or cooperative.Thank you Rob and Carls fence.

We went to this company for a fence two weeks ago. We walked in and the salesman was abrupt from when we entered the show room. It didn’t stop there. He came to our home to give us an estimate with the same attitude. He gave us a very high estimate and never left us a hard copy of it and never acted like he actually wanted our business. The next day we went to another fence company who gave us a price for 6 thousand dollars less. They were very pleasant to work with, the fence was high quality and installation team was wonderful the fence was installed within a week with no bad attitude to deal with. If I could give no stars and still write a review I would.

In June 2021 I needed a chain link fence for a new dog as per the adoption agreement. At that time most fence companies were either closed temporarily or backlogged for even an estimate , then up. To 2 months wait for the actual installation.There was a shortage of materials and most of the contractors weren’t even taking calls. CARL’S came to give me an estimate within DAYS ; soon after the installation was done in less than a day. The workmanship was excellent, the fence is almost 2 years old and like new. Absolute pleasure to deal with. Rob came out measured the job spent over and hour and half going over the job with my wife and I to make sure it was exactly what we wanted. I spoke to Paul regarding installing a barrier arm system and a keyless entry system at the cooperative I live at. After he asked me a dozen questions and still didn’t seem to be able to visualize what I wanted I suggested I send him photographs of the property. Seeing the photographs would be a valuable source of information to him. However, he told me he would “pass on the job” and abruptly hung up on me. I later called back to ask if Paul was the boss and I asked to speak to the boss to see if passing up a 20,000 job is how Carl’s Fence does business. I also wanted to know if this is the way they treat their customers. I am waiting for a call back.

08/25/2020 - I have a wooden stockade fence that needed replacing. Over the years, I’ve always wanted a custom gate with a pergola. We visited several fence companies in Nassau County. We were more than willing to pay the extra cost for custom work, but unless we wanted a vinyl fence, no one would even speak with us. Then we went to Carl’s Fence in Bethpage. We spoke with the sales rep Tom and explained wanted we wanted. He understood and said that Carl’s can easily make the custom gate and pergola we wanted.Today, Sean and Steve installed our fence, gate and pergola. It looks Great! Sean and Steve arrived on time and got to work. They’re professionals. When they were done, they took all the debris. When I called this company the manager Robert came to my hose on the same day and gave me a reasonable estimate on the new 6ft x 40ft fence installation. The 2 installers arrived at the promised time and started to do the work immediately. They installed 40ft of vinyl fence, the posts were installed in concrete in less then 2Hrs. The fence was perfectly leveled and looks great! They left the worksite very clean & leveled the dirt. I was extremely impressed with this crew. I would never hesitate to recommend this company to any of my friends and relatives!

Later I called Micheal to finalize the order he said he wouldn’t able to my job because he made a mistake and it is going to cost double the amount. I borowed funds to do the job now I am stuck with interest. I left two message for owner Chris but he called me back. Don’t ever give your business to these people. Carl's Fence was willing to do a small job for us. It consisted of moving a post and replacing an oversize gate (installed years ago by another company) with one that would align properly with our walkway.
