Just tried to return an item. I didn’t keep my receipt, but I had the card I used, thinking they could look up my purchase that way — as many stores do. The cashier helping me was immediately annoyed when she found out I was returning an item. Asked for my license without reason and then proceeded to give me a gift card instead of a refund to my card. When I asked why, she said there was nothing she could do bc I didn’t have a receipt. The kicker? I got LESS of a return for whatever reason. (Paid 12.50, only got $10 back on a gift card). Sure, it’s $2.50, but why shouldn’t I get the full amount back for purchasing lotion less than 24 hours ago? It’s bonkers. The whole way through, the woman had an attitude and had no explanation as to why any of this was happening. I don’t even want a gift card to this god forsaken business, honestly.

I went to Rite Aid for vitamin E oil. I couldn’t find it after searching the store. I went to a sales associate to request for help. She was hesitant to help me and acted like she didn’t want to. After rushing through each section she said “we don’t have any here”. I asked her to search the system and she said she could not because she didn’t have a barcode she couldn’t do that and walked away from me apparently annoyed that i needed help. I continued my search. I couldn’t believe it since I imagine it is a popular product. I searched the stores database online and found it. When I went to the front of the store to pay I asked for her name and it was difficult for the associate to pronounce it who I asked. Then when the said associate in question walked by she covered her name tag. For these reasons I will briefly describe her and hopefully your store management can politely correct her in the ways to do her job and how to treat customers. She was a middle aged black women. She had acne in her chest. She was where glasses and a wig. She was wearing a flannel button down long sleeve that was opened in the from. I think I managed to hear that her first name started with and L. I did not deserve to be treated like this and maybe she is having a difficult day but I don’t think that means she can treat people the way she did. I felt belittled and don’t personally want to shop at this store any longer.

Gene is the rudest cashier in the store and a liar! Manager little less rude. However, very unpleasant experience shopping at this location!

While I was shopping today I witnessed a older long grey haired employee (whose name I’m going to be nice enough to leave out) harass a group of teenagers, try to accuse them of stealing and told them “none of you are house broken” as they were trying to check out and PAY for the items they were BUYING. She proceeded to try to tell them they are no longer allowed in the store even though they did nothing wrong. As a life long beacon citizen and shopper of the store I am appalled by her actions and really don’t feel comfortable shopping there or even sending my own child in there to purchase anything . Shame because the young woman who helped me at the counter was very nice

TWO TIMES I TRIED TO GET COVID AND OTHER SHOTS, WENT ONLINE, IT SAID I HAD A BOOKING, GOT THERE, THEY TURNED ME AWAY AND THIS HAPPENED TWICE. NOW I HAVE COVID, WHAT A THIRD WORLD STORE. WORST EVER FOR YOUR HEALTH.

Cant even walk the store without being harassed. A women cashier that works there for a while, is giving the a store a bad reputation. As soon as I walk in, she yells out "CAN I HELP YOU!"Everytime she act like that. People like my mom, dad, girlfriend and family, all experience the harassment from this cashier. I waited around in the store and she doesn't do it to people, that don't look like me.something need to done about this quickly!

I have to say the people who work at the Beacon store are very nice and helpful. The reason for the 3 stars is the following:Made an appointment for the Covid booster on their site. Took time off work to go in only to be told those shots (for Omicron) are not even available until, maybe in a week later or longer! The same morning I received an email reminder to go in for me shot! The pharmacist was very apologetic; I know it's not his fault.... he said they were booked solid with app'ts today...and he'd have to repeat the same apologies to many customers. RiteAid and Walgreens (parent company) should get their act together.

Pharmacy staff are RUDE, insensitive, and bias. I had the cashier basically tell the entire store which prescriptions I was getting, my full government name, DOB, etc. You will have absolutely no privacy if you fill a prescription at this store. Looking at the reviews, it seems people have been complaining about this for years but nothing has changed. I will be filing a complaint with the AG. This staff needs sensitivity training and racial bias training. My experience should of never happened. Please do not give them your business especially if you are a person of color.

Went with my mother. We bought what we needed for a big swim my mother was having the next day with a lot of people in the Hudson River. The River Pool. The employee's at this Rite Aid were very helpful, & respectful all the way through.Thank you.

Do not use the Pharmacy here. I called in a prescription the day before expiration and they did not fill it because they didn't have my insurance info. I don't have insurance. They did not call me for the info they just didn't fill it. Now they are saying they can't fill it because it is expired even though I called it in on time. Also their prices are insane. I have always paid $10 for this drug but here it is over $60. Go to the nice guy across the street on the corner instead of dealing with this uncaring irresponsible company. Rite Aid - Don't suggest I call your customer service, you just write that on people's comments to look better. I don't have the drug I need because of your terrible service.

The staff are generally friendly, and helpful and the store stocks the toiletries and house goods I use. It's local and a lot less hassle than schlepping to Walmart. I think the pharmacist could be more professional at times but over the years, on balance, I've had pretty good service at that counter.

Attention Rite Aid shoppers!!! The pharmacist would like to announce YOUR personal information out loud in their loudest tone of voice. Despite posting a sign to have the other customers stand back to allow for other customers privacy, the pharmacist can't help themselves but to loudly discuss your personal information. Both times I had my prescriptions filled at Rite Aid in Beacon, the pharmacist used NO discretion as to how loud they spoke. Also, upon getting a new prescription filled from my doctor and the pharmacists asked me, "do you know how much your prescription costs?" Before i could decline the prescription, they precede to talk (audibly for all the other customers to hear) about how I cant afford it. How unprofessional and humiliating. Meanwhile, another pharmacy tech was shoving a barrier at me and kept hitting me with this barrier while i was at the counter with my wife.What an awful, annoying, and humiliating experience. GO ANYWHERE ELSE to get your prescription filled.

The RiteAid on 320 Main Street, Beacon NY is my favorite RiteAid as their associates are consistently friendly, caring and knowledgeable. Recently, I had to purchase a product that I could find no where else. I looked where I thought it would be found, but an associate stocking shelves not only told me where it was but walked me there! The store is always immaculate!!

I enjoy going to this place. I’ve been going there for my medication for 4 years and the pharmacy techs and the pharmacist are always informative and very polite. In addition, the manager is efficient and always ha a pleasant smile to say the least. They work very hard to make sure the store is kept clean and organized.

Signs everywhere say "Flu Shot without an appointment" - so I finally remember wear clothes that easily access my upper arm & in I go on my break. Wait my turn at the desk, four staff are hanging out behind the person being helped, no one offers to see me at the other window. My turn - "Hi, I need a flu shot", Pharmacist "do you have an appointment?", "Sorry, no - I thought I don't need one" was told "things change" -he turned & walked away from me... no apology, no offering to make an appointment or tell me how to make one, convo over! Won't be back to this Rite Aid, maybe not any of them.

This pharmacy has very poor professionalism and customer service. On two separate occasions they did not have the medication in stock that my doctors ordered for me Neither the techs nor the pharmacist called to notify me or the prescribing doctor. They spend more time behind the counter chatting than paying attention to detail. Not having a serious medication needed to preserve the vision in my eye will now cause a delay in treatment.

Since I am not much of a consumer I only really use the pharmacy. There are 4 pharmacies closer to my home then rite aid. Having tried all and been downright insulted by cvs and problems with others, Rite Aid is terrific. Friendly staff. I am very pleased and will only go there .

I went to the Pharmacy to collect a prescription this morning. Joey was extremely kind and friendly and helped me immensely. It has always been a pleasure to shop there. The general staff is always very friendly and the store is clean and organized.

Female cashier there gave me an attitude at checkout when I placed my basket on the counter cause apparently it was my job to take the items out for her to scan even though the basket was right in front of her and my hands weren’t completely free. I guess I should have rang myself up then too with her logic. Is that how they train employees nowadays? Just do as little as you can and give customers an attitude when you have to do a little extra than usual? Ridiculous!

Store is clean and stocked; however, the pharmacy staff should be ashamed of themselves. I echo the other negative reviews regarding the rudeness and lack of professionalism of the staff and have encountered similar issues.

A little story about this perpetually un-stocked, dirty store. It's near me, so I've been buying Nicorette there for 13 months since I started to try to quit smoking. That's a LOT of money I have spent there. Thousands and thousands! So: On a Saturday night, at 9:40, I go there to buy some more—I'm out for the night, can't buy it anywhere else in town—and flash my recently expired ID. I am 54 years old! I don't drive so I haven't been in a rush to renew the license. "I'm sorry, we can't sell to someone with an expired license." Unreal! And so idiotic: Just lost a HUGE customer. And got another 1-star rating. For absolutely nothing. Lots of reasons to avoid this place, of course—not just this. Avoid!!!

Very unhappy with this store. I am a long time customer that was treated very poorly by the staff and management. I tried to return a just bought,never opened or used product with the receipt and they flatly refused to take it back and refund my money. Again,not opened,not used,just purchased. They were pretty rude about it too,especially the first staff member I talked to. The entire staff needs to be retrained on how to treat customers. Very poor service indeed!

Worst service ever. Literally no one pays attention to customers. We stood at the self checkout for at least 15 minutes for someone to come and approve the alcohol purchase while the two store associates just stood around doing nothing

Extremely rude, judgemental ,and unprofessional pharmacy help. After the way their staff acted, they lost our business forever. Do yourself a favor...please go to CVS.
