The kindness and dedication of all the staff and fosters was above and beyond !! The outside setup of extra kennels and fenced back yard in a home setting made it a relaxing and inviting looking experience !! I went with my son and daughter in law who ended up adopting the most amazing loving almost 5 month puppy!! The application process went with ease and grace!!

What a great place and so patient and thoughtful. Went to adopt one puppy and after some time mutually agreed she wasn't going to be the right match for the family. Then they came up with another puppy who was the perfect match for the family and now the puppy kids and us couldn't be happier. Really appreciate all the work they do and pairing us with the perfect pup for us as a family

I went there for a Doxie but she was too nervous around my dog so she got another dog chihuahua and miniature pinscher mix though she very timid she was able to be. I decided to call her Lola . I got her medical she up to date with her shots. Plus the people there who are all volunteers was so friendly and nice.

Absolutely amazing! We applied to adopt our dream dog and they immediately responded and helped us set up a meet & greet. When we got there everyone was so helpful, open and honest about all our dog's needs. They encouraged us to take our time getting to know him even though it was past typical hours of operation. We can't thank everyone at The Lucky Puppy enough. Our dog is the perfect fit for our family!

We went through Lucky Puppy for our 1st puppy, and absolutely loved them every step of the way. They were very thorough in there adoption steps which I liked. They were very friendly and responded quickly to any questions or concerns I had. My puppy was a rescue as they all are which was a checkmark. She came with her rabies shot and certificates. The price was awesome and small price to pay for years of love and joy. Everybody in the update New York area should give them a try when searching for a new best bud.

We adopted a 4 month old female puppy from, Lucky Puppy rescue. We have named her Maggie. She is a sweet and very well behaved puppy. I want to send my most heartfelt thanks to everyone at the rescue center. They made meeting and adopting Maggie a very simple process. If you take the time to read all of the information they provide, it is extremely beneficial for you and the animals you can adopt from them. We adopted her on 11/3/20 and she has already settled into our home. We rescued 2 dogs from the NY Argyle location- one during Covid in March 2020 and another just before New Years’ 2022. Both dogs were well cared for, happy, living in a clean, friendly environment. I appreciate that this rescue has you apply and receive approval before meeting the dogs. The vetting process is easy and shows how much they want to place dogs for longevity success into a healthy home environment. They were more than willing to have us bring our older dog for the meet and greets and were honest in their assessment and suggestions on pack interaction. The people who work and volunteer @ lucky puppy are super friendly, caring individuals who do a great job caring for the dogs :) I would absolutely adopt another dog from here in the future! :)

The Lucky Puppy Rescue is the best! They were helpful and friendly every step of the way. You can tell they really care about the dogs and make sure they go to the right families. I was looking to adopt a dog for my daughters and searched high and low until I came across this rescue. The adoption process with Donna was so easy and she was so pleasant to go through the process with! I took my daughters to the rescue in Arygle, NY the day before Thanksgiving and we met David. He was super nice and very friendly! I could not believe how clean and organized their facilities were! I am very happy that we adopted through this rescue! They are phenomenal and I will rescue from here again in the future ❤❤❤

We adopted Kasey from them last week. They are caring and truly want the best for their dogs. I am so glad that we found them! Kasey does have some parasites but when I called they were truly appreciative that I called to let them know. If I could give them less than 1 star I would. After being INCREDIBLY sketchy throughout the whole process, we found out the puppy we wanted had a chronic cough for the last month. When pushed to get him seen by a vet to make sure he was getting proper care, they brought him and he was put on antibiotics. I called the vet to ensure we weren’t adopting a sick puppy and because I did that, Allison told me they were uneasy with the adoption going forward. So I guess don’t ask questions or voice concerns about the dogs? I am sitting in horror thinking about the whole situation. I hope the puppy finds the most amazing home that’ll take care of him, cough and all.

I rescued my dog Nora from The Lucky Puppy Rescue over a year ago so when they opened up the shelter in Argyle, NY right near my house I knew that I had to give back to this beautiful, kind and giving rescue ! I went to visit the new rescue facility to drop off donations and the facility is incredibly clean and the kennels are spacious , the dogs are well behaved and loved and all the volunteers/ employees were incredible !

I can’t say enough positive things about this dog lover place. They got in touch with my on May 30th. I adopted my dog on June 20th. They are professional, respond promptly and I received the dog that was exactly in the picture. I highly recommend this organization if you are looking to adopt a dog.
