Stopped by this wine shop looking for a special but reasonably priced bottle of wine as a gift. I gave my price range and wine preference to the owner. She recommended and meticulously described several bottles of wine on the low end of the range. I really appreciate that she did not just jump to the high end. The shop is lovely with an excellent variety of wines and spirits. The service was exceptional.

Kortney (owner and dog lover) sincerely listens to her customers in order to pair the right wine or spirit to their palate. The rose shown below is one of my favorites – crisp, clean and delicious. Wild Common Wine is a beautiful addition to the Andes and always my first stop when arriving to town. We are always greeted by the most adorable pups and a kind hello, then move on to a wonderful selection of wine. Kortney is very knowledgable and excited to talk about every single bottle, usually with a great little anecdote about the vineyard itself. I can't wait to go back!

I found Wild Common visiting Margaretville, NY on a July 4th weekend. It is located in the little town of Andes, NY. The owner, her dogs, and her philosophy about wine are what really make this business special, it really stands out from the rest. Kortney, the owner, is an avid cyclist who runs a weekly group road ride from the shop, which I have been lucky to have joined several times! She really cares a lot about her wines, the vendors, and where the grapes are sourced from. If you ask her anything wine or bicycle related, she really knows her stuff. Definitely worth a visit if you're looking for natural wines, spirits, and a bicycle friendly space in the Catskill region!

Found this quaint wine shop during my stay in the Catskills. Simply loved the organic pinot grigio wines I purchased. Wish I could remember the names. Definitely an incredible find. I will be stopping by again, even if it's a bit of a ride. Worth the trip.

This is by far a wine shop in Andes. There is a window where young people can buy wine through it. Kortney is the owner.
