“Generally, I find the store excellent. However, I was recently disgusted by the fact that a piece of marinated chicken was sitting in the display case for over a week. Take a look at my attached video for proof. It is an absolute health risk to anyone that comes near it. Just take a close look at that chicken!”! This isn’t the first time I’ve made this observation looking in that meat case!

The perfect stop for just about every grocery need you could be looking for and then some. The place is quite large which allows for great selection and variety. They also offer the in store scanners, self-check out, a pharmacy, and even a Starbucks all within the premises. Prices are generally better than most in the area I've found, but not by a huge margin. Plenty of parking right in front in the shared lot, but this place can get crowded during peak hours.

Very conveniently located, wherever I've lived, stop and shop has been right around the corner.I am so thankful for this place, I can go here, in the middle of my coming to pick up whatever it is that I need for that recipe.Everything under one roof, great prices and options.Bakery is amazing, all kinds of breads, cakes, cookies, etc. The Deli has cool collection of cold cuts and cheeses.They even have fresh sushi, salads, sandwiches, amazing soupsAnd they have fresh rotisserie chicken, fried chicken, various kinds of fried wings.Most of the time, I buy chicken from here, me and my 2 boys can easily have one rotisserie chicken for dinner and with the leftovers we make breakfast sandwiches, so dinner and breakfast for 3 for just 10 Dollars!

It's way too expensive. And they are out of a lot of stuff. Same old selections. Can buy same or similar products at Aldi's for half the price.The best part is all the employees that hangout in FRONT of customer service (and no one is available behind the counter at customer service), chatting away while just one register is open, and the line is going down the aisle.

Love this stop and shop. They have a Starbucks inside which is convenient. Self check out feature is nice. They are close to my house so it’s our go-to most of the time. Shelves are always stocked, and employees are overall nice

What is the point of signing up for self scan if you never have enough scanners available? When your employees don’t put them pack and let them pile up by self checkout.

Standing in the filthy bottle room for about 20 minutes. It is 2:15 on Sunday afternoon. All the machines are full or broken. This is the WORST Stop and Shop. Went to the courtesy desk twice and called from my phone. Still nobody here. I wouldn’t even give it one star but I had to for the review to post.

Every week I'm at the customer service desk. There is a girl name Anaya. She provides such a terrible customer service. No greetings hello or anything like that. Smile, eye contact, thank you dosent even exist. Very unprofessional...

Had a great experience there today! Was given advice from a gentleman named Christopher today while i had a couple of items at self checkout. He gave me great advice that was a really decent value and saved me some money. That was the first time that has happened in my 2 years of coming here and I'm thankful to him and stop and shop for having him.

My go to location whenever I need groceries. Opens early, closes late. The store is always well lit, with clean, mostly-stocked shelves (general supply chain issues aside).Until recently I hadn’t paid much attention to the system that they have where you can checkout the scanner gun and scan items into your cart, but now that I’ve used it I can’t imagine not using it. It’s so convenient!

I love stop and shop. My only complaint is with the deli and their pre cut cold cuts. I don't always have time to wait on line to get freshly sliced meats so it would be great if the pre cut weren't an inch thick per slice. I've worked in a deli and I never heard a customer ask for thick sliced cold cuts. Always as thin as possible please.

I ran an errand for my wife and visited Stop & Shop on Merrick Rd in Amityville NY. My first impression was "This is a really big store!". To my surprise I found the store somewhat easy to navigate as the aisle signs were very helpful. Accordingly, I was able to easily find what I needed. This was my first visit to this store and I really appreciate the time the management put into the well placed signs that allowed me to find what I needed in a reasonable amount of time.11/26/22This is my 4th time at this store and I'm very pleased with this store!

I shop in here all the time. Presentation of the products always looks superb. The staff here are very knowledgeable and helpful.One cashier stands out from the rest ,her name is MATILDA. I was on line with other customers,when she kindly said come on to my register...I paid it fwd and let the other 2 gentleman go ahead.I told her Thank You for opening your register to do that.She has a really nice personality and has a good heart.If you stop in let "Everybody know they are doing a Great Job" People in this need it.Matilda you are a very very good worker and thank you again.

This specific Stop & Shop has done a great job during this messy time. The store still feels stocked and always clean. I've also noticed the employees have kept in good spirits. I haven't overheard a single one complaining, it's actually been the opposite. When the shelves were at bare bones, I was able to still find enough of what I needed, and the staff hid the gaps well. One of those days, I walked into produce and couldn't help but chuckle at the enormous displays of cabbage sprawled throughout the department. It was much better then seeing empty shelves, thank you. As the store returned more towards a normal volume, the meat department was lagging behind. I was chatting with a butcher putting packages of chicken out, creatively distributed as well. He made some funny comment how produce always seems to win, and I was so grateful at that moment; glad for the positivity, humor and creativity of all the employees. It helped take the fear out of the air and replaced it with a sense of community. And cabbage. Thank you to all the S&S people.

It's a supermarket, what else is there to say. I will say that not all Stop & Shops are made the same. Some are more organized than others. We drive out of our way to shop here when there is one closer to us. Better stocked and maintained. UPDATE: This store was revamped not to long ago. Reorganized and updated the layout. New hand held scanners, new carts. Nice cleanup and improvements.

Very easy and not crowded. Most people did the right thing. Staff in meat dept was great. They saved me a lot of money by showing me an item that I am eating tonight. Great job at check out, plenty of help. I drive out of my way to shop here.

Went to pharmacy today n Jessica and other staff member were great they transferred my prescriptions with no issue and called me like she said she would to tell me everything so far good and will be there hopefully tomorrow. Great staff

Store not very clean. Prices ridiculously high. Store not well managed. Missing many items on shelves and produce. Check out staff very good. That's the only good thing about it.

I love this place. If you are vegan, you can find all sorts of vegan products here (aisle 3), they might be a little pricey but definitely worth it. The produce section is also awesome. It's very well organized and clean.

This is my local Stop&Shop I go here all the time, plenty of parking. Great lengths have been taken to enforce social distance. I like the selection and the people who work there are very good especially in the plant department. There is a pharmacy that keeps an eye on my various scripts and they are usually very helpfull.
