Many things are priced the same as Albertsons but many items are cheaper. It is well laid out, very clean. And the workers are soooo nice and very helpful

Great place, except for the "supervisor" here, Olga Pina. Blatantly disrespects employees in front of customers loud enough to hear it across the entire store. Then, berates customers trying to use the regular checkout and sends them to the self checkout because she's too busy yelling at employees to man the register. What a disaster.

Great place to shop and save a little money. The employees, including the baggers, are always really friendly. Active Duty and Retirees living in Las Cruces really need to shop there and show support so the doors will remain open. It's really worth the short drive.

For me, any commissary is a good one, the one at whitesands is clean, well stocked, and has polite customers and employees. I come from Las cruces to shop here, and I'm never disappointed.

I used to avoid the produce section at this Commissary, but over the last few months there has been such a welcomed improvement. Produce is now super fresh and there is more variety. I'm super impressed. Thank you for the improvements and the wonderful changes.

Since Ms. Lizabeth Hankins has been in the produce department at the commissary on WSMR I have noticed that the produce department seems To be three times and more better than before. No more droopy lettuce!She has done a fantastic job since she has been here !!!!

Has the most friendly baggers like miss jarolynn !! Lizbeth who also works as a cashier and helps with produce is so helpful and hard working !! Michael is so friendly and they are the reason I always look forward to shopping and the reason I keep coming back !

I would like to take a few minutes to let you know what a fine job Ms. Hankins is doing.She is doing a great job in the produce department. No longer do I have to cross the mountain to buy fresh produce from Walmart. Keep up the good work Ms. Hankins.

Whenever I visit this commissary with my disabled veteran friend who was stationed here at one time, I feel incredibly safe. As I shop for my onions and salsa, I know there won't be any grifters in the parking lot waiting in the dark to steal my purse. White Sands already selects only the very best in terms of who can even be there; in terms of exclusivity it's even better than Neiman Marcus! I really appreciate the attentive and friendly baggers. They work for tips so we are generous.At White Sands they buy bubble gum and chew it with a smile as they proceed with their duties. I know they have more than enough firepower to deal with local rowdies from Las Cruces, the cartel, and Russian MIGs.Thanks for being the best little grocery store ever!

Prices are a little higher than local grocery stores, but you’re paying for convenience. If you’re a contractor you need to go to the professional development center to get a separate badge for access. This is only if you live on post though.
