Good place that offers good food. The dining area was a bit too crowded for me so we sat outside and even though the sun was shining a cold breeze would blow so we couldn't fully enjoy our meal. Also there are no highchairs for kids so I'm a little disappointed in that. I had the breakfast burrito and it was really good, not spicy at all unfortunately, I couldn't taste the Chile. The salads looked beautiful and colorful and the coffee was good. BTW there is a cat outside and he joined us at our table, he was friendly and didn't bother us at all just wanted to put that out there since I know some people are allergic.Vegetarian options: Beautiful colorful salads

OMG...this was an AMAZING find. We were in the area with our two dogs, and heading for a couple of hikes, when we found this place. We sat on the veranda outside with our dogs. The server immediately brought us a bowl with water for them. (We bring our own, as we don't expect restaurants to do this.)I have been finding it hard to find a variety of "non-meat" options as I don't tolerate it well. I had a vegan wrap, and WOW! That was some of the best food I have tasted since I stopped eating meat. Service was fantastic and the food was even better! THANKS!

Passed this restaurant the first time, and this time we made it in! So glad we did from the start we are greeted by Izzy who was exceptional she gave us menus and explained how to order which we we offered to find seating then go back to order. We ordered chicken panini which was good I feel like it needed a boost of flavor. The breakfast burrito with sausage was deemed great by my grandmother who is picky.. and I had the breakfast sandwich with sausage and spinach which was extremely good more green chili would have been better! Huckleberry Berry tea came unsweetened which was perfect for my grandma and they added passion fruit syrup to mine which was DELICIOUS. The lavender latte was probably the best one I have ever had!

Roots Farm Cafe offers a fantastic experience with its great atmosphere, delicious food, and refreshing iced tea. The cafe’s charming ambiance creates a welcoming vibe that makes you feel right at home. The iced tea is a delightful treat, perfectly brewed and complementing the flavors of their tasty menu. Although prices lean towards the higher side, the overall experience is definitely worth it. Friendly staff, cozy atmosphere, and delectable dishes make Roots Farm Cafe a must-visit spot.

I grew up in the east mountains, and coming to the little cafe was a nastolgic little slice of home. Food choices were healthy and simple. Prices for food and coffee were spot on. I probably wouldn't have left the dining area until they kicked me out. Oh! And the staff was wonderful! Polite and friendly. Can't wait for the chance to come back.

Sweet little place just off 40 on East side of ABQ. Definitely worth the stop. Besides the awesome food (with house sausage) the shop is provisioned with local edibles like cheese, honey and herbal products. Coffee is spot on too!

Sadly this place didn't meet my expectations, Roots is one of the only cafes/eateries in Tijeras. The only great thing about it is that it exists in an area with no other options unless you drive to Ceder Crest or go down to Albuquerque. Maybe I'm just a fatty and their bland healthy options don't satisfy my pallet, but either way I don't believe I'll be going back for the only option.

Most of the food we have gotten has been very good. I have been here twice and both of my meals were awesome, but the German breakfast that my mom got was far from impressive.Both times we have come here, the lady at the register has been rude and throws attitude at complaints or questions. The rest of the staff is very friendly and compliant.

Real whole foods meals, awesome coffee and espresso choices, homey atmosphere, and had genuine interactions with the staff. They seemed like they were friends/family with one another and expressed the same vibe to the patrons.

Employees were gently nice, the atmosphere was very comforting and the food was good…Fancy Toast Goat cheese Pesto WAS DELICIOUSThe burrito was decent but you can tell them for some add-ons since it definitely needed some spice… the Latte was perfect and the Roots Remedy was so smoothingWe loved the calmness of this place, and definitely consider coming back…

Stopped here after a short hike to Travertine Falls. Very cute, quaint and delicious. Had quiche, spinach salad and tea. Very fresh, filling and priced well. Definitely coming back.

Such a cute cafe! Perfect place to grab a coffee or salad or sandwich before heading up the Sandia mountains or sit outside on their deck or patio. The food was just as tasty as it was pretty!!! Great coffee, too
