Honestly this place is wild. The checkout people, especially in self checkout have been rude to me for years. I ignore it for the most part but today was insane. I purchased apple juice that rang up at $8.49 when the tag said $5.99. I had already paid when I realized the total was way too much. I turned around and let her know it rang up wrong to which she said,” well it’s organic”. I said okay well the price said $5.99 either way. She said she needed a pic of the price. My partner walked over there and lo and behold it was $5.99 but in the wrong spot. Not my faultthe stickers put 6 of the same product in this area that all said $5.99. She refused to adjust the price. Well who has $9 for juice? Not me, it was already a splurge at $5.99. So I turned around to customer service to return it and when I explained I was returning it because the price won’t be adjusted to match the tag the lady laughed in my face and said,” don’t get all angry about it”. I walked out. These ladies were literally laughing at me not being able to afford $9 juice. Disgusting behavior on their part. I’ve had to ask them for help at the registers before and they always turn their nose and have a nasty attitude but today was out of hand. Particularly when I ask for my bag credits for reusable bags or ask them to check my points in the system. I prefer Albertsons to smiths but I won’t be shopping at Albertsons anymore. They have effectively lost my business until they can get better staffing or train the current ones in proper customer service.

This is the worst Albertsons store I've ever been in. The consistency on products is severely lacking. All of the carts are broken. All of the them. The deli is never open. The produce is always out. They don't even have goldfish crackers. Jesus, whoever the buyer is foe this location needs to take more corporate training on stocking and refilling shelves. Disgraceful.

Would be an alright experience aside from the unfortunate unpleasantness the self checkout clerk that worked 12/28/23 consistently displays every single time I'm in there, she DOES NOT NEED TO BE SO SOUR AND I AS THE CUSTOMER DO NOT NEED TO BE HECKLED. If she wants to heckle she can do it SOMEWHERE ELSE. I hope she has a fantastic new year because obviously didn't have happy holidays. Sucks to suck. Although I'm against disrespecting service workers, if she continues to give me attitude, I will continue to give it back. Respectfully and with love, a Google reviewer.

I shop here 3-4 times a week. On my last 4-5 visits the sushi department has changed what they make. Please go back to the items you were making before. Extended deli hours would be nice. Some of us work and want fresh deli meat, but after 5, it's closed. Self checkout cashier is not very friendly.

I really like the Albertsons located at this location here in Taos. We shop here often. However, today we had to go to the restroom. There are 2 sets of restrooms for this facility. One set, of which remains locked and a key is needed. The other set requires no key. However the upstairs restrooms were disgusting! The bathroom areas were dirty and very unkept. There needs to be some attention given to this facility.

The worst Albertsons I’ve ever been to! … especially Grace at the self checkout. Rude, unfriendly and doesn’t like to do her job. Today she said I was having a bad day because she had to come over and clear an approval, then said I pushed a wrong button.

This review is in regards to the online grocery pick up. Since I am unable to mask because of a disability, I am using online ordering and parking lot to pick up as a courtesy. I have been shopping this Albertsons since I’ve moved to Taos some months ago. I have always been allowed to shop here, and for that I am grateful. Seeing the new round of extreme lockdown, I decided to use this service, and I am disappointed.The order process is exhaustive. Each change causes the site to reload. It took quite a while to get the order in. Since I ordered mainly fruits and vegetables, I put in specific instructions as to size, quantity, and appearance. When I got home, I realized my order was incomplete. Many of the non-produce items I ordered were sale items. Apparently you are advertising items for sale that you do not carry, because the sale items were the majority of the missing items.As far as the produce goes, I’m not real happy with the selection I received. Three out of six apples are bruised. I received no pears or ginger root. (How do you run out of produce?) The navel oranges were replaced by another variety. The order stated medium to large sweet potatoes. I received two of the smallest sweet potatoes I have ever seen. One quarter of one is almost completely dried up. Would YOU purchase this for yourself? (See the photos) I know you have better produce than this. I’ve seen it in person. I am very disappointed in the selection process. This is exactly the reason I did NOT want to use parking lot pick up.I called the store to resolve the issues, I was transferred to a department where there was no answer. So, clearly the issue was not resolved. That’s why am leaving this review.I don’t know that I will use this service again. In-store shopping seems to be the best bet.In the photo...the sweet potatoes I received are tiny...the other two I bought last week and they were the medium size in the bin)

On 8/4/2023 I went into the store to get my medications. The pharmacy was awesome as usual. Unfortunately my next mistake was that I visited the deli. I waited up at the counter for 3 to 4 minutes. The two workers were busy doing prep but they seemed to ignore the front counter. Then finally another customer came up and asked if someone was helping you and I replied that they seemed to be ignoring me.I then said hello. And the female employee said that I'll be with you shorty. Not being very friendly about it. The other customer left and the female employee finally approached me. She didn't say hello, instead what can I get you in a rather rude stance as she felt like I was bothering her. I then said that I wanted chicken legs, and she said that we don't have enough. So I then asked her if she can give me a mix and match. We can't do that. I then asked her for manager and I also asked for her name. She hesitated and finally gave me her name "Sally". And then she walked off in the back ignoring me. I then called the customer service number to get a manager and I also asked another employee for the manager. They would call for him. As I was waiting, the other employee in the deli came up to talk to me and apologized for everything. I appreciated that but I didn't understand why they have an employee that treats their customers so poorly. During that conversation the GM approached me. Of course at that time I was very upset. He calmed me down and explained that he was very understaffed. I then asked him if they train their employees to treat customers like that. He said that they don't but he'll have a talk with her. Obviously the stores only excuse is that their understaffed. Sorry but that excuse is getting old. Even if their understaffed, the employees should treat the customers in a friendly manner.

I’ve only ran into one friendly employee at the Albertsons Deli, I believe his name is John, very helpful and always asking how my day is going, he’s the only reason I’ve gone back and when I don’t see him working I don’t stop by. Some cashiers are rude and don’t feel like being at work.

Parking spaces small and poorly maintained. Good prices in store. Lavatory access practically non-existent. If you wait in line at customer service, it's 5-20 min. You may get someone to make eye contact and communicate with you. Good luck on getting the staff to open the restroom door with access code. Bathroom was filthy..the overflow bathroom up a staircase had broken commode and feces on floor.Management needs a refresher course in customer relations and basic hygiene. In my opinion health dept. Would find several violations.Still; the prices are good.

The Albertson's Grocery Store in Taos is an all-around decent business, with a helpful, friendly and knowledgeable staff, great quality of groceries, wide variety of most items, most items are affordably priced, the store is kept clean and is well organized.Like most of my shopping trips to Albertson's, my most recent visit was a success, by this I mean that I found the items I needed, at prices I could afford, quality of groceries/freshness were great to excellent and only about a 5 minute wait at the cashier.

I go to this store around 8-8:30AM and there always a silver Jeep with a male worker in the parking lot to be specific parked at the grocery pickup lane, drinking beer. I don’t think this is professional whats so ever. I’m sure other people have seen this male individual popping back his liquor.Not sure if he’s on the clock or clocked out but if you want to be drinking beer don’t do it in front of your work environment with the shirt and cap that has the Albertsons logo.

One of the worst grocery stores I've been to in a while. I'm not going to waste your time with how many reasons that I have to say this but I will say a couple. Please do not go to the deli or bakery. Please do not expect the layout and arrangement to be intuitive or easy to figure out. I usually cook at home but I had to go get something to eat and I got the chicken enchiladas. There was more sour cream then there was green chili or chicken combined, no joke. The managers there need to be beaten with Willow switches!

Store was clean well stocked and staff are very helpful and friendly. Unfortunately….The deli fried chicken was awful, bland and tough. We purchased two 8 piece boxes and the drum bucket and everyone was disappointed.

This is a really nice store. They have a very nice variety of things available here for decent prices. One should be able to get most if not all of their grocery shopping done here!I would love to give it 5 stars, but the aisles do seem a little narrow. It makes it a little difficult when pushing a cart to comfortably get by someone else pushing a cart as well. The area between the aisles and the check out lines was pretty similar- it was just a little odd. Other than that, very nice. The Starbucks within the store is a plus as well.

Great selection of foods throughout the store but especially in the deli and bakery. I had a great experience in the deli yesterday while purchasing sliced ham. The employee was very knowledgeable about the different types of ham choices and even let me sample them to help me decide. I wish I would've taken note of her name because she deserves to be recognized for her efforts. She has very short hair and beautiful blue eyes with long eyelashes. Thank you for your help, pretty lady!

Helpful associates. Was very busy, lines moved quick. But shoppers were clueless and EXTREMELY RUDE. had a couple blocking an aisle, one staring off into space while his wife was staring and comparing products, I said excuse me politely, so I could get by them and continue my shopping, and they both looked at me, have me a dirty look and in a very snarky tone, said, ehh excuse me with her nose stuck up in the air. Had other people stop and block me from looking at the meat section..So, if rude as hell customers shopping is your thing, by all means have at it. I will go to smiths or super savor. Have never had that issue at either of those places
