Currently sitting in the parking lot. We were here 5 minutes before opening at 11. At 1059 a girl walks to the door and lazily puts up a sign saying opening late🙄 ok when? I just need gift cards. The chairs aren't unstacked ready for folks and I haven't seen the girl come back since. Kinda ridiculous on a Saturday morning. I've been in here multiple times and the cashier's aren't welcoming.**Here's an add on to what ended up happening after waiting 15 minutes...I knocked on the window, two girls were near the cooler, one pushes a cart out and the other follows behind on her phone. I follow towards the door that is used for walking in to tell them I just need gift cards. They keep walking as if I'm not there so I knocked again and the girl on her phone yells "we aren't open". I say I need gift cards, she repeats me, pauses then says "we don't have any". I said "you're out of gift cards? REALLY?" She never even put her phone down🙄 it was super rude and turned me off to this place. Planned to continuously but gift cards for experiences for my kids class but I'm good✌️

We went there at 9:15 pm (they close at 10:00 p.m) on Tuesday 4/9/24. The young girl behind the counter didn't even acknowledge us when we walked in and looked annoyed AF. We sat at a table (the chairs had been stacked already), but we wanted to sit and enjoy our frozen yogurt. We were nice and didn't make a mess. We were there for 20 minutes tops. We said thank you on the way out and she didn't say anything. Most of the time when we go they are rude or dismissive.

We came in 20 minutes before closing. It smelled very clean and the young woman (Elise) was so kind and pleasant to speak to. She had a wonderful attitude even late before closing. We will definitely be back!

My youngest gets the honor of riding along on all the errands and appointments we have. In return, he gets to pick a treat to grab. This is our favorite place to go. He'll load up on a bowl of chocolate everything, and I'll go for Dole with more pineapple on top. He'll stand and debate with himself for at least 5 minutes where the prime seating is before we sit and eat. Of course, he'll only take a few bites before wanting to go home and put it in the freezer for later because it's "sooooooo good but so sweet." Repeat over and over. We love this place!

My nephew and I went in again today and to our surprise Janet was there again! She remembered us from out last vist and was so happy to see us. It is truly an amazing feeling ti be remembered and appreciated for our business. You have a shining star with this one!

Menchie's is great I love their frozen yogurt that got wide variety of add-ons it's cheap it's a beautiful location nice patio good staff you know if they take care of all your frozen yogurt needs right next to Del Taco and Nails Maxx

The 15% to 25% tip question on the credit card machine you are FORCED to use (because you don’t take cash) is out of line. Tips of 15 to 25% are for the service industry. So tired of the places like this that are abusing the tip system. Your prices are high as it is! Stop or risk losing more business! As a kid I worked at a similar establishment. We went in early. Disassembled and cleaned ice cream machines. Calibrated air for the right mixture. Set up the lobby, prepped the work areas and the guest areas. We did this for an hourly wage of $4.50 to $5 an hour and that was our wage. We did it because it was the job not for the tips that at that time was not even heard of. Again. Be real.

Janet was phenomenal one of the flavors were out and she helped my nephew pick a new one and was literally the nicest person. She got him some coloring sheets and she just made our day amazing Thank you!!

Never had an issue at this location. Recently hired a newer girl named mariah. She had the worst customer service.. or should I say, "what customer servic" she was super rude and had attitude when my self and another party asked for sample cups. She responded with attitude anytime someone asked a question. The nicest thing she said was "welcome in" or "hello" when people came in the store. She definitely acted like she hated her job. And her mask was below her chin, why even attempt at wearing a mask if it ain't even on properly?

Rudest group of kids working here on the weekends. No hi no thank you no conversation at all. Just rings you up and gives you dirty looks. Get someone cheery and happy to work here.

Not my favorite Menchie’s location. Staff often seems put out when I come in and they automatically add tip! Menchie’s is self serve so tipping should not be expected at all.

This particular menchies has made a lot of changes recently. 1st of all it is only taking cards and has no cash at all on hand due to a recent break in I believe. In addition they are now not offering samples of any kind. So all the new Christmas flavors that look delicious, we can't try. Am I supposed to spend $10 on an ice cream When I don't know how it tastes? There is even a sign that says please continue to wear your mask after purse just seeing if you're frozen yogurt. So how am I supposed to eat it? Managent/ownership, please stop adding additional restrictions to this store. It is ruining this location!

Changed to 2 stars. The place has gone significantly downhill in the last couple of years. Yogurt is still good, but they've really decreased the choices. Staff is as rude as can be though, will not likely return.

I have only been there recently and after reading the review about the service dog I am shocked! The girl there was Alyssa and she was a bit older and knowledgeable about ingredients in yogurts, gluten, (actually knew what it was) and she was really friendly. Most places tend to hire younger people so I'm glad they have someone who has a brain. Probably safer if someone were to have an allergic reaction or something as well.

The yogurt is delicious, but the service is definitely sub- par. My family stopped by during the week (Wed., March 27, 2019). Although we were a good thirty minutes before close, almost half of the flavors were unavailable, thanks to the staff closing early. And the guy who was helping us was quite rude. Definitely pick another froyo option.

If you love an assortment of frozen yogurt with toppings and fruit of your choosing this is the place for you. I 💘 this place when I feel a sweet tooth coming on this would be my first choice. Careful of how big your sweet tooth appetite is they charge by weight and can be pricey.

Love taking my kids to Menchies! Very friends staff and lots of variety in flavors. I wish they offered more promo codes having 5 kids and all can get pricey but other then that we love it here :)

The tipping questions is out of line. I served myself, etc. Tipping is for the food industry (servers) that don't get paid minimum wage. And I always tip more than 20% to servers

Love the frozen yogurt flavors and toppings. Do not appreciate the staff literally sitting on the counter next to the toppings. One out of the three staff girls was actually doing her job. The other two were on their phones and talking up a storm with each other. Aren't these girls supposed to be making sure customers aren't misusing things and be available for questions?

Used to be a great, clean and consistent place to enjoy froyo until the manager left a few months ago. Now, customer service, cleanliness, and keeping toppings like whipped cream stocked seem to be a struggle. Inconsistent at best now. The ones one the east side of town don’t have this issue. I’ve asked the staff several times to pass concerns along, but it doesn’t look like anyone is listening. We now avoid Menchies in Rio Rancho.

We came in after our anniversary dinner thinking it was what we are used to from other Menchie's but we were wrong. The smell walking in was terrible, like rotting milk (other Menchies don't have this smell problem). Most machines were not working and coming out watery. The ones that did work the yogurt tasted really old. Luckily we got a new batch as one of the young ladies replaced one of the watery machines, so we got that. I wouldn't come back if this is how this place is always ran. Such a disappointment because I love Menchie's and was excited we're near one.

Yo, It's Fro-yo! how good can it really get? Lol, I got tart cherry and chocolate dipped banana with Carmel sauce and cheese cake chunks and it was just as exspected...good but made me crave ice cream. Clean place nice friendly gal helped get the cups filled cuz it's all different now during this pandamit situation and not self-serve like it used to be but it was cold sweet and almost perfect as Fro-yo is. 😉😁

Great yogurt! The most unfriendly and miserable staff i have ever seen at a self serve frozen yogurt place. Ive been there around 6 times at different hours. Same miserable staff. Specially the older lady, it feels like your ruining their day by being a customer.

Yum! I really liked that even though my niece and I went to Menchie's a little bit later in the evening, close to closing time, they still had all the flavors. The amount of choices in the toppings is always great.

Flavors might be ok for kids... blue raspberry tart, cookies and cream, vegan pomegranate razz sorbet.No just chocolate, coffee or latte flavors, they really need better choices for some of the parents or grand parents that drive kids to menchies stores.

Menchie need to train their employees better. Today, i called the store because i have a question. The girl answering the phone was like yeah. Who the hell answers the phone at work and says yeah. The entire time i was talking to her she just sighed amd gave attitude.
