This must have been one of the BEST burgers I have ever tried. I rate my burgers by the taste of the meat. I was so impressed that it was my main meal for the two days I was at my hotel. The onion rings were not as we are normally used to seeing, but were really good. The only thing I am sorry about is that Wahlburgers only has this one location in New Mexico.

The Good: You can't beat the location or view, especially in southern New Mexico...absolutely beautiful. The elevation also helps escape from the desert heat. We had a Royal Suite on a military discount of $280 for the night, totally worth every penny for the extra space and 2d half-bathroom. Food at Broken Arrow for lunch was just okay, nothing special, and was served to us warm but not hot-and-fresh from the kitchen. Excellent selection of beers on tap, maybe 50 altogether. Our room had a tremendous number of easy-to-access power outlets. All horizontal hard surfaces were very clean. AC was EXCELLENT!The Bad: Hotel room furniture has definitely seen better days...cheap tables with many veneer chips and gouges, faux leather couches with cigarette burns/holes. Broken Arrow bartenders and wait staff are underachieving on a spectacular failure level...no eye contact, no enthusiasm for the work, no sign of personality, and you almost need to holler to be heard to place food and drink orders because they will never circle back to check on you, ever. Handicap parking lot area is in serious need of restriping and new asphalt signage paint. People park like crazy because the striping and signage are practically nonexistent. The pool and hot tub were closed for maintenance during our visit.THE UGLY: Wifi throughout the hotel, casino, and restaurants is abysmally slow...all of my bandwidth speedtests came back less than 5mbps. So slow. Can't do any long distance work with laptop or phone, no virtual meetings, and forget gaming or streaming on the in-room TVs. In this day and age, it should be much better.

For being a tourist place it really needs to better their staff me and my friends came for a little weekend get away and we were really looking forward to eat at Broken Arrow restaurant, as we approached the restaurant the hostess was no where around, we waited a good 5 minutes before being greeted as we got greeted not a single smile or welcome came out of the hostess named Sussie we then asked for a table for 4 and she said it was a 15-20 minutes wait which made no sense since they did have more than enough tables open and plenty of space at the bar as well. We were a little disappointed with this kind of service since we did come out of town, other than that the other food services we got were okay and the casino was so much fun.

Tasty burgers and crispy fries. Crispy onion rings are a must try. The burgers are small, not much difference in size between the Paul's burger and the smallberg for kids except the adult version comes with veggies.

My order name was not being called out and I noticed the people behind me were getting their orders, turns out they overlooked my order. The people working there are clueless, unapologetic and just need help how to serve customers. We paid for a double barbecue burger, and they gave me a one meat with very extreme low amount of barbecue. I should have taken a picture of the ridiculous burger, AnyWho, the food was such a disappointment. How I regret not getting the noodles next-door. The fact that it’s the Wahlburgers I expected so much more. I think Burger King or Wendy’s will serve you a much better burger.

It's a rip off. These burgers are extremely over priced. On average they're $10-$14 and that's just the burger. That does NOT include a drink or fries. For that price you're better off going somewhere else. Plenty other local restaurants in Ruidoso that give you more bang for your buck. They're delusional if they think they'll succeed with those prices. They're easily charging 3x more than the normal rate. I ordered 3 burgers and that cost me almost $40 and it was a 30 minute wait. I asked for well-done and the patty was pink. The burger itself was mediocre. I was looking forward to the "signature sauce" but it was non-existent. I honestly don't see them succeeding at all. Aside from ripping off unsuspecting tourists. I'm pretty sure most locals will avoid the place just because of the prices. It's not worth it. This was my first time going to a Wahlburger and it will definitely be the last. Went with friends and they were also disappointed.

Nothing more than an average, anywhere, any day burger. I tried the double with Tots and a drink for just under $20.No experience such as “OMG this is the best burger ever” Give it a try but there are better burgers out there not associated with TV/Movie actors.

Service was horrible. Had to ask the lady working the front several times to swap out my beverage for something else. She ignored my wife and I till I went ahead and did it myself. Absolutely no sense of urgency for customer service at all. I have never seen a bunch of disgruntled employees in one group in my entire life. If you don't want to work there than leave and let someone who wants the job work. SOMEONE GET MARK WAHLBERG OVER THERE!!😡🍔

We come to the Inn every December right before the holidays just for a quick getaway. We typically enjoy our stay, and a few things are usually a hit or a miss. Staff friendliness is also hit or miss.The first year we came to stay, it was the height of COVID, and they still offered amenities like room service, which they no longer do. Understandable, due to staffing issues.We will usually book a suite, which is one of the more expensive rooms, and our expectations this year were not met. The rooms are in definite need of an update. The furniture is dinged up, the shower and tub had mold, the grout is dirty, the carpet smells musty. There were food wrappers left from previous guests inside the dresser drawers, which isn't a big deal to us and says nothing about the room, but the room itself does need an update. Minor, but the lightbulbs are all different colors, it throws off the ambiance of the room. Our lights above the bar didn't work, and they no longer keep the mini fridge stocked. The wifi connection is not the greatest, so be prepared to have to use your cellular data, which will also not work in certain parts of the building. The thing is, is that the room itself is a hefty price, on top of state tax, a "guest tax" that they charge, and a resort fee. There are a list of charges that guests pay, so that's something that maybe the owners should consider on their next investment.I feel like the resort fee doesn't cover much like you think it would at a typical resort. They need more amenities or services to make it worth it.Our servers were very friendly, bar staff are always friendly and easy to get along with. Patrick at the Wendell's bar lounge really stood out to us, he was very nice and attentive.-One negative thing I may say about Wendell's lounge is that I believe that they no longer will come to where you are sitting to take your order, they will not service you unless you are sitting at the bar. They will very well walk across the lounge to take a smoke break outside, however. We waited close to 30 minutes for a seat to open up at the bar before we were served.Wendell's restaurant is very good, we are always pleased when we eat there. They are pricey with small portions.I know the world is full of complainers, but it seems that there are a lot of restrictions put on staff that make them frustrated to work there.You will run into a few of those staff members who are not pleased to serve you. I went to the broken arrow coffee bar the morning that we were leaving, (12/17/2023) and there was a girl sitting behind the counter, hiding behind the glass display on her phone. I stood there thinking maybe she didn't see me, and then finally had to ask if they were open. She got off of her phone and stood up, almost rolling her eyes, and a very moody "Can I help you?". It was off-putting, but I told her what I wanted and she says they were out of the ingredients and tried directing me to the other coffee shop at the market. She made it seem like she didn't really want to deal with me and wanted to hand me to someone else.I went to the spa, and I always enjoy it. Candy is is great and easy to talk to, my masseuse was named Jeziah??? Or something like that, and she did a very good job.So, they need to update, offer more resort like services, and try to make their staff happy to work there or feel less burned out.

Wendell's restaurant is unreasonably pricey. Our server forgot my father's tortilla soup once she brought out our main dishes. She also told me that there was an extra Caesar salad when it was actually mine because I ordered it. She also disappeared on us once we asked for the check. A different server brought out the check for us instead. Just an overall messy experience.

I wanted to like this place but more than half the amenities were not available to use while we stayed. Only two restaurants were open and the food had clearly been prepped, sitting under food lamps for quite some time when they served us at the broken arrow and the food at wall burger was so over salted I could barely eat it. The hot tub was closed, over half the restaurants were closed, they cheaped out on the little things like coffee cream, there’s no microwave in the rooms, and the drain plug completely came out of the tub in the room.The staff is very courteous though, that is the one nice thing.

We got both chicken sandwiches, the our burger, fries and onion rings. Not 1 of us finished our sandwiches because they were disgusting. Lettuce tasted dirty and the overall flavor was ... not good. Fries were OK and onion rings were fine.. they had no flavor. 10/10 would not recommend or return.

Tried this places a couple of times now. Average burger but what makes it tasty and different is the government commodity cheese they use. Fries and service are average. Would recommend at least giving it a try but nothing special here.

This review is in regards to the wahlburgers. I have to say i was very very disappointed! My wife and i are big fans of the show so when we heard they were opening one in ruidoso we got excited. We couldn’t wait. We drove 2 hrs just for that….First disappointment was it wasn’t a restaurant, it was a food vendor type of place. Like being at the mall. Second when they called my name, first thing i noticed was the trays my food was in were soaking wet. I asked about it and the guy replied they didn’t have time to dry them. Very unprofessional! 3rd i notice my order was wrong. When i went to let them know the guy behind the counter passing out the orders got bothered by it. When they fixed the first problem, i had to go back for a second time. I ordered my burgers well done and they were well. Not pink, but still red. Went back and i showed the guy the burgers. Told him they were suppose to be well done. He grabbed the tray in a rudely manner and told me i was gonna have to wait another 30 min. As i was waiting for my order. I noticed one of the guys accidentally dropped a new jar of their special sauce in the trash. He had another guy block him while he took it out of the trash and the guy blocking him told him to go to the back and rinse it. (Very unsanitary) i saw the whole thing. According to the show they take their burgers and business very serious and make them with care. Paul supposedly trains all franchise buyers cooks and staff very carefully to make sure they’re made the same way, well i think it’s all BS. They can edit and change things on tv, but when it comes to reality you can’t. Sad to say i’ve had better service at McDonald’s. The way i see it, It’s all for publicity. It’s the name and people who own the business that makes the burgers popular, not the taste or poor quality of the burgers. If Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger opened a burger joint it be popular as well cause of who owns it!

Disgusting and overpriced! I got the BBQ Burger with Fries, came out to almost $20. Let me tell you, it wasn't a burger, it was a slider and poorly made. It was inedible. Also, the person taking the order had a horrible attitude. Do not recommend one bit!
