I was genuinely contemplating bringing my dog to this location for his shots and vaccines. However, upon reviewing the feedback, I believe I will opt to take my beloved companion elsewhere, where he will receive the same level of care and attention as he does at home. Update: my cat had an ongoing problem and had to have a pretty radical procedure done as a last resort. My cat is so much better now: a totally new cat who enjoys life so much more. Before he wod never play :( now he does :) Thanks to everyone at the Animal Care Clinic! Dr. Jentzen told me he is a "cat person" and as far as I can tell he is very skilled at dealing with cats who are not feeling well. He was also very gentle when I had to say good bye to my dog, after a long life of biting everyone he didn't like.Staff takes what they do very seriously and I find that reassuring. I am very grateful that this place exists.

I was eager to take my dog to this place for a nail trim, but I left feeling extremely disappointed. The vet didn't even acknowledge us or my dog and began drilling my dog's nails without any explanation. Unfortunately, he left three nails bleeding and showed no attempt to comfort my pet. If you truly care about your furry friend, I would recommend avoiding this place. Every pet deserves to be treated with the kindness and care they deserve, like the innocent angels they are unfortunately, I aint able to provide pictures. I was too focused on trying to stop the bleeding of my pet.

Dr. Janzen is an extremely nice Vet. He obviously cares about the animals he's caring for. His staff is also nice and professional. Been to a lot of vets. He's the best.

Hoop went in to have intestinal blockage surgery, after surgery he was being monitored (secretary doesnt even know whos dog is whos when asked) but was sick and needed to be diagnosed and treated. Instead the doctor just gave him "fluids" until he died.

Something definitely shady with this vet. Not forthcoming with information and lacks empathy. Why so many dogs dying in your care? Avoid if possible

We have a dog that gets her monthly vaccine in Colorado. But since we stayed here in NM we went to this Vet the same day and they are very welcoming and accommodated us the same day. We just have to call before we go.

Brought our dog in for her shots the 23rd of January. They said they were out of Rabies Tags but would call as soon as they came in. Here we are the 6th of May and they still don’t have the rabies tags! 14 weeks!! And their response, just carry the piece of paper with the rabies information on it. Get real! If the dog gets lost, she isn’t going to have her piece of paper with her! Will be taking all of our pets to Las Vegas-San Miguel Vet as they actually have rabies tags!

A ZERO rating!!!! The people that work here can be pretty rude. That's not the worst part. The worst is saying you are a Dr., but still play the guessing game when it comes to diagnose a pet. Having been doing this for a long time, I would figure he would know how to make a better judgement/ diagnosis.Also, the receptionist seems like she doesn't want to work here anymore. She seems like a cold person and should get out. It says on their website it opens at 730 am, but they didn't answer. I waited till 9 to get through on the phone. They gave me an appointment two hours later from the time I called. My dying pet suffered a lot longer than they needed too. To make things worse, the receptionist puts you on hold for about 3 to 4 minutes, which is a long time when you have a dying pet that needs immediate attention. They also value money a lot more than an innocent pet soul, so if you are a person that loves your pet, I would recommend going to another place that is humane. My innocent pet didn't get the attention she deserved. She sadly passed away. If you are a future customer, I would think twice about going to this place, as your pet is deserving of a better environment!!!!

Great small town vet! We have 5 cats and 2 dogs and have frequently needed Dr. Larsen's services . He is knowledgeable and compassionate about many topics for both dogs and cats and doesn't mind mind taking the time to explain if you have questions . His front office staff is also very good and courteous and will schedule last minute if needed . Yes! I recommend them

Dr. Jantzen is very compassionate and caring. The prices are reasonable. The staff is courteous and knowledgeable. They were thoughtful and supportive during our dog's illness and passing. I highly recommend Animal Care Clinic.

You killed our dog this morning. There was something in his stomach that should have been immediately X-rayed and surgically addressed. Instead, you chose to wait 3 days, sending him back and forth, giving him medicine that did nothing to help him. He was skin and bones from not eating and you deemed it okay. You are ignorant and DO NOT care about the animals you are supposed to be treating. You brought him out to us in a TRASH BAG. Like he was trash. He was a good dog and was loved SO MUCH. Terry Jantzen is responsible for the death of our Doberman, Bane, and he never even looked sorry for it. Please never bring your pet here if you care for their well being.

I needed to put down a dog and called here. It stated to call another number that answers and it's the Vet. He states to leave a message and if he does not get back to us in 1 hour call someone else. The vet who did answer was Dr. Brained and he was in Texas on his way back and if we could not find anyone call him again and he would put down our animal for us. NEVER have I felt so helpless while watching my dog suffer to breathe. Will never use or recommend this NON compassionate vet.

I have been coming to Dr. Jantzen for many years..he has taken care of our cats, dogs, goats, horses & cows. Recently, I had to have my elderly dog, dying of bone cancer, euthanized. Dr. Jantzen & Pamela, one of the staff, were extremely kind & gentle with my girl and helped me get her into the truck to receive her shot while she laid at my feet. She weighed 80 lbs!. Jordan went to sleep immediately and I brought her home to bury her. Pamela also made an impression of her paw so I would have it forever. It was complimentary & a Precious gift I will treasure. Infinite Love & Gratitude for these Wonderful people. 💔🙏

This is the place to go if you have a sick or injured animal Jensen has performed miracles on my animals !! My cat's face was torn off by engine fan blade the front of her teeth were exposed all the way to the side of her face and when we got her back she was as good as new!

Came here as a first timer with my smokey. They helped me immediately. I went in stressed and came out relieved. The doc got down to the point and explained everything. Very happy with their services! Highly recommend

The staff is friendly and efficient. The pricing is also very good. However, this clinic is extremely dirty. Cobwebs, spider egg sacks, dirty window blinds, dirty floors and splattered walls. There’s even blood or feces on the ceiling.A medical facility should be sanitary. Especially during a pandemic.

I took my dog in for suspected swollen lymph nodes. She is not the easiest dog to examine, but the vet did a great job at doing a full physical exam. They prescribed her some antibiotics and pain meds and she was back to normal in a week.

Rudest nurse I have ever spoken to she was rude and unprofessional and treated me like I was stupid because I asked her a question about my animal, I don’t want people like that looking over my animals if they can’t even treat there customers nicely what makes you think they are gonna take good care of your animals, DO NOT TAKE YOUR ANIMALS to this disgusting place.The staff is horrible and super dirty.

It is a shame that you can't give less than one star. All you people putting good reviews must be a close friend of the scam of this so called veterinarian . I will make sure by the end of the year consequences will be brought upon his malpractice taking money from someone who does not have much but in desperate need of medical care for her fur baby now dead because he was prescribed medication that caused him more internal bleeding that he was not even treated or given medication for which was made veryclear to this scam in the first place. If you are not in it to save lives and only worried about money. You need to find another profession. Now my baby is gone and its due to your malpractice and mis diagnosis. Which has cause the death of my baby. Please I advise you if you love your pet/baby at all. Stay very far from this clinic. Especially if you don't have much money. He will take what little you have and give you anything to make you think he knows the underlying cause of the situation at hand just brewing to a boil right beneath your beloved family members skin. Just sending them the a painful and suffering death. STAY AWAY ... PLEASE!
