Needed 2 pieces of glass cut. First day had someone the manager seemed nervous with the employee cutting the glass. When I got home the first piece broke. Went back they charged to replace their mistake. Went to install the second piece of glass here are pictures. They had a very bad attitude including an employee walking off.

I went to sutherlands looking for a shower valve cartridge after I went to multiple other hardware stores. They did not carry the part but they were the only ones that did help me find it online.

Yeah this place is really cool and they have everything a great alternative to Lowe's or home Depot corporate b*******. If you want to support privately owned business in Las Cruces this is one of the places you can do it. I literally just went into the store for the simplest thing ever for a project I was doing on my bicycle but the two young men who work in there help me out didn't discriminate against me and are very respectful as well . I highly recommend Southerland lumber

Bought a sofa and recliner. It was delivered late, didn't take any of card board and plastic off. After I took all packaging off, I noticed something sticking out from under one of sofa cushions. Its the legs that go under the sofa. I called Sutherlands and the girl that answered the phone said I have to assemble myself, she said the delivery guys just deliver. If I would have known assembly required, I wouldn't have purchased it. I was going to purchase a table but I would probably have to put that together too. Never again. Not good for a lady my age with back and shoulder issues. No one not even their add said assembly required.

Rude customer service associate was rude not cordial and she didn't smile greet acknowledge or look at me in the eyes , this store is going down hill with the lack of customers coming in, the lack of professionalism no wonder home Depot or Lowe's is doing better , it's sad but true the management I guess does not care at all tell you what my money matters and I can take it to home Depot or Lowe's

Very bad customer service. Not greeted upon arrival, although the employees did seem to making interesting plans for after work.When my disabled sister asked about a shopping cart she was told get it yourself.Yard helpers were rude, and had an attitude.Was not allowed to pick out lumber.Unable to fill order, although I had checked availability before driving 125 miles...had paid and encountered all other problems.Would highly suggest that you shop elsewhere.

I was looking for a brace to hold a pole on a wall. I could not find anyone to help me, so i went to the front desk. She told me to go look on aisle 18, and i spent 15 minutes looking there. When i first went to the area the were 4 employees standing there talking and it was not about work. When i went back to that area where they had been standing, no one was around. I was very disappointed. I

Usually terrible customer service, this time from a "supervisor." Don't bother with this place if you can help it. Go to Johnson's on Picacho if you are able - it's a much better and more helpful local store to support.

Despite the signs on the door, mask wearing during a pandemic is apparently optional here, well for the employees at least. All the customers I saw there were doing their pat and wearing masks but NOT ONE of the 6 employees standing around were wearing their mask or wearing it with their nose sticking out. For this reason and the fact that I can never fill my shopping list with their bad selection Ill never go there again. I try to shop local but Sutherlands sucks

Walked into the store. No employees. Waited to be cashed out. No employees. Another customer asks if we have seen anyone cause he hasnt and wants to check out. I holla. Nothing. A guy in his... 20s? Walks over. Asks if we need help. Say yes. He says she's counting money and walks off. We ended up just leaving product else where.

Jeanette the cashier was rude and delivered terrible customer service. Everyone in the store was nice and pleasant except her. She needs to be in a work where she doesn't have to deal with people with that attitude of hers.

Fast and convenient place to get what you need. Avoid the lines especially during this lockdown mess, they have christmas lights for this season and the place is practically empty so it feel much safer then a crowded store.

Asked if I could order Dickie's overalls through them. The employee said yes but needed to give my information to the employee who works with the Dickies company. I said ok and gave my information. They have yet to return me a phone call with any information. If they cant do a simple task like this. How well do they function through out the company.

My kind of place: chunk of farm & ranch, home and garden, handyman and pro. Rarely leave without what I went in looking for. Sometimes even with a new hat or clothes I didn't even go in for. Always helpful knowledgeable staff.

Do not recommend this place at all there's no one around to help you they all hang out by the cashiers four 2 five guys then you go ask for help and all you get told is you should find it by the back . I asked Can you please show me? And then I get told yeah it's not hard to find it's by the back so I just left
