This place is AMAZING. The prices on feeders are super low compared to Petco and Petsmart. The animal selection is so wide and varied, they had exotics I’ve only ever seen online because none of the pet stores in my hometown had them. All the animals look incredibly healthy, the cages are clean, and several of them were bioactive (with the option of purchasing both the animal and the setup). I’m blown away and definitely will be back.

My partner and I absolutely love this shop. They have an amazing variety of kritters to choose from. Not to mention the staff is incredibly friendly—particularly Nala 🐶 She was very attentive and gave amazing customer service. Give that best girl a raise ✨

Great place and wonderful service. Everything is clean and the animals are healthy, you can tell they genuinely care.I got a beautiful, healthy little halmahera blue tongue skink from here and am very happy with the decision to take the time to drive out from El Paso. I was given some free food with the purchase and was glad to see that our skink loves it. They've been a great eater right from the start and I was surprised how little time it took to start seeing them out and about.If you are looking for a healthy reptile or quality food and other necessities, this is the place to go.Edit: adding some photos of a year later with this lovely little boy. Even our vet says she's impressed with how healthy he is. Perfect sheds, super friendly, and a very strong personality for such a small animal. I absolutely love him.

Got my kid his first tarantula here- it came with its own habitat! Friendly staff gave us a crash course in everything we need to know to keep our new baby happy and healthy. Totally impressed with all the awesome animals and knowledgeable people here.

My go to place to get frozen feeder mice for my Kingsnake! (Photo of him included to show his appreciation of exemplary food) The staff are always super nice and the mice are great quality. They’ve also got an some amazingly happy and healthy animals for sale. I’m tempted to buy another snake every time I go in!

Though it's a bit of a trick to get to, this shop is absolutely worth it. I went in for gecko food, and the worms they have are big, active, and from my Leopard Gecko Ghillie's reaction, quite yummy.The prices are comparable to big chain stores, and unlike those stores, the bugs are all actually alive.They also have a lot of really cool animals in there. I'd never actually seen a new caledonian lizard, and they have other cool things as well.Grade A service and merch.A bit of an update (12 30 23): I bought a crested gecko there today, and the staff was knowledgeable as always, and helped me to select the perfect one. I would add another star if I could!

I love Cross City Exotics they have good variety of snakes and area always there willing to help. I have bought most of my snakes "Ball python" from there the animals are well taken care off I am always happy with my purchase.

We purchased a ball python from this store, and staff was very informative and friendly. She was able to tell us the age, gender, and type of ball python we were purchasing.They have many different reptiles and were able to tell us about the different temperaments of the types of snakes they had. I would definitely recommend purchasing your reptile from them.

Great customer service, Pet Smart and Petco do not compare to this place. If you have a snake or any reptile this is the place to go, they will help you out. Plus, you want a live mouse or rat for your snake, they for sure have them.

Great local reptile and amphibian shop. The employees are always friendly and helpful, and they’re very knowledgeable about the breeds they are selling. The animals all seem very well taken care of and their live feed is well taken care of as well. Very generous prices as well. This is the only place I come for my reptiles.

An absolute gem of a place. I love going to this store. It's small but they have an amazing selection of reptiles and amphibians, arachnids and occasionally other little creatures. The staff is always extremely polite and helpful. I have called in before to have them bag me up some feeder insects to save me a few minutes if I'm in a hurry. If I have time and they arent busy, the staff is a wealth of knowledge. They are always helpful with questions and you can tell they love what they do. Definitely recommend this business to help you get started with a new pet or to help you keep a current pet healthy and happy. 👍👍👍😁

Yesterday was my first visit to Cross City Exotics.I was impressed as soon as I walked in. Greeted on my entrance. Very helpful staff. A multitude of exotics to see and/or purchase. No odor at all like some shops. I went in for feeder rats for my Boa, Slick, and left with a gecko and a complete habitat set up prepared by them along with lots of pertinent advice regarding care of my new little pal as I have not had a gecko previously. A 1.5 hour drive for me which I will be glad to do again as their level of service and selection and cleanliness is top notch. I encourage you to try this business.Jan

This is an awesome place ! I bought my first reptile, ball python, and they were excellent in helping me with my million questions. Even after I had trouble getting my snake to feed they were awesome with helping me by caring and helping me every way possible! Would definitely recommend to anyone getting into reptiles. Also they have a good variety, knowledge, and amazing customer service. Have and will continue to go to them for all my exotic pet needs! :)

Great staff! They really care about the animals and take care of them with love. Store is always clean, great prices. Animals tanks are extremely well kept and all the animals are in excellent condition and health. Always fun to stop buy just to see what's new or talk with the knowledgeable and friendly owners who can answer any questions. Great place to pick up some feeders and supplies for ANY exotic pet.👍🐍🐢🦎
