Nice place! We needed a room in Santa Rosa, but everything was booked and full, so we drove a little more and found Super 8 in Fort Sumner. Rooms were nice, and the beds were good. One downfall was an old buritto in the microwave. I don't know how long it had been there, but the fuzz told me a while.Food & drinks: Breakfast was served, it was waffles and burittos, some oatmeal and fruit. Not to bad!

Little place on the map but huge hospitality and service. The place is very well maintained. The people that are there are absolutely amazing. The breakfast I saw some complaints but there was no complain with me. They out out some breakfast burritos, mini donuts, cereal waffles and orange or apple juice. Oh and can't forget the coffee. The rooms are maintained and clean. I live on the road and wish more places took pride in their spots like they do here.Rooms: Spacious clean and wrll maintained. Bed was comfortable shower had good pressure.Safety: The parking is well lit for my work truck.

Great place to stay! Great customer service to start with. The room was very nice too. They do serve continental breakfast as well. That really impressed me on account they have a waffle iron heated up and ready with syrup, cereal and milk, a juice machine (orange juice and apple juice), coffee already made also! I was in a hurry to get on the road again as I was heading on a trip so I only had time for a few glasses of juice. I was impressed with their free breakfast as most other places when they say they have continental breakfasts they mean packaged muffins and coffee or something similar. It was a great experience overall. Thank you Motel 8!Rooms: Smelled clean. AC was on when I got there.Food & drinks: Great set up for free continental breakfast.

Just needed a place to stay as we made a cross-country trip. Hotel is older (they are renovating) but we had no issues with the room. Beds were comfortable, plenty of towels.Parking is all out front of the building and well let. Dollar General just down the street and for snacks and a few dinning choices in town. Nice sack breakfast supplied that was perfect for the road.

We came in after midnight towing a 30' trailer and they had space for us. The staff was nice, the room was clean, bed was comfortable, we had a great nights sleep 💤This is a no frills hotel, they are remodeling, breakfast was bag style.I would definitely stay again.

paid through Hotels.com and read some reviews that weren’t great but I felt we could still give it a try. Glad we did. We are in the King handicap room and it is spacious and nice. Clean and has nice accommodations. Check in was Covid friendly and quick! Password will make ya smile too. Cold fridge, working microwave, lots of nice touches here. They did not offer us a breakfast baggie like mentioned, but we didn’t come for the breakfast regardless. Huge bathroom (remember it is handicapped accommodations room). We like the room and got in at 10:20pm. Man at the desk when I called for the password was very cheerful.

Bob the owner /operator went above and beyond to help us after 2 weeks of travel when we found ourselves in need of laundry services. He is friendly and helpful! The hotel was a great price, was clean, and the bed was comfortable. There were plenty of channels on the t.v. and we were able to relax and re-fuel before hitting the road to Texas! Thank you!

I have stayed there several times. The management is friendly and helpful. The motel is a bit dated. Water closets and A/C are fairly new. However, several rooms don't have working bathroom exhaust fans. Shower curtain rods/ bars ( curved style ) loose and hanging so the curtain won't stay closed. Several lights out. Need bulb replacement. Tells me they're cheap.

Phone number on google is incorrect. Hotel is run down and overpriced for what you get. At around $100 a night I would expect more.The complimentary “breakfast” was terrible. It consisted of a weird neon drink (acridly sweet), an apple, a gas station itty, bitty pastry, and a cracker sandwich. Additionally, they were clearly not at capacity, but wouldn’t give us more than an hour for “late” checkout. Skip it if you can.

If you are looking for adventure, look no further. The only question is to tetanus or not to tetanus. The bathroom fan was broken and there was so much rust you are expecting Alec Baldwin to bust into your room with a prop gun.In the morning there was nobody working, and a table with more sack lunches than a field trip at an elementary school.

Security door doesnt shut right away. There was something like blood or sticky red liquid on bedspread. The kicker.. Everytime the heater came on the bed started shaking (cool in the 70's not when trying to sleep). It was the bed furthest from heater. Then heater grumbled to a stop. There wasnt tissues and Very little T.P. I called the front desk i was told the manager will take care of it in the morning. Ya he took care of it. Charged me full price for bad room. I wont stay there again!

Our bed was in such poor shape. My side of the bed was permanently worn and there was a hollow spot making the bed lumpy and uncomfortable. There was no fitted sheet on the bottom and the sheet they used barely covered the top of the mattress and kept creeping up during the night. The bathroom was Tiny and although there was shampoo, there was no conditioner available. The staff was super friendly though and the place was clean.

There is absolutely nothing working. No ice machines, no vending , no anything . The breakfast was a 5 yr olds dream. A capri sun, package of 3 hostess donuts, crackers and a apple. Service was poor. Room had no shampoo, toilet paper ect. Shower did not work right, with luke warm water. There is stacks and stacks of construction materials left every where in the hall ways. I would not, I repeat not stay there unless you have no other option. I should have just slept in my truck. I have reported this hotel to my company so that they take them off the list of approved locations. They don’t even deserve 1 star.

My wife and I very much enjoyed our stay here. The front desk clerk (sorry I can't remember her name) was very nice and very happy to help us when we had an issue. We had just walked from Portales, yes walked and we just wanted to relax. But across the hall someone kept slamming the door so she was quick to move us to another room. Then when it turned out that workers were going to be doing work on the room next door until late, she got them out. 5 🌟 and because of her alone we would definitely recommend and stay at this hotel again.

Clean room with a good AC unit. Lots of light in the parking lot and it is right next to the highway so it very safe. Continental breakfast was sparse, as expected, but sufficient. We would definitely stay there again. Very fair price.

Great staff very friendly. The house cleaner is amazing. The rooms were extra clean. Including the corners where most other motels forget the crumbs and other little nasty things that's hanging around... not here it's one of the cleanest super 8 we have stayed at.

Stayed here one night on our way to Colorado. Hotel is clean and comfortable with good wifi and television. We slept well with no road noise. Breakfast was a little sparse and needed more of everything, but for the price I shouldn't complain. Plenty of parking for my U-haul.

Great staff. Very friendly. This was the cleanest super 8 motels we have ever stayed at. We do alot of traveling for work will stop back anytime we are in the area. The breakfast was a normal quick bite like all the rest. Easy parking and pleanty of lighting for security. Cameras are always on and recording so you can rest assure that its a safe parking lot.

This is basically the only game in town but still...First of all the front desk clerk is wonderful. The rooms are fine. The breakfast has improved. My biggest complaint is housekeeping. They are WAY TOO LOUD. Since the majority of the guests during certain seasons are people at CSBF who keep weird hours and sometimes don't sleep...a little bit of quiet could go a long way. I mean, we're at the hotel to sleep. I has no other amenities. I had the Do Not Disturb sign on my door and they barged in while I was sleeping.

I stopped in on a whim not expecting much but I'm happily surprised. This is easily the best two star hotel I've been at. The staff is nice and there's a cute dog at the front desk to great you.The free WiFi is the best that I've seen in a hotel, even the Holliday Inn and Best Westerns I've stayed at on this trip. I'll add a photo of my speed test.The bed is very clean and the rest of the room is clean enough that it doesn't feel like a grimy two star room. It isn't shined up, and you can tell there have been a few guests by the stains on the couch in the room and the small stuff like streaks on the mirror and miscolored grout in the bathroom but it still feels clean.I'm also happily surprised by the newly upgraded sink and counter and the well done not so obvious repairs. This hotel clearly cares about having everything work, which isn't something I've experienced with similarly priced places. The bathtub/shower insert looks new and isn't discolored at all like I've seen in every other two or three star place I've been to.I'm pretty picky and really like this room. I wish I could have stayed here for each of my stops across the states. My only gripe is that the shower fan is pretty loud, but I wouldn't be surprised if they fix that, too.

For the money an excellent value. Very clean. Helpful staff. Heating and AC fan will run continuousness, not cutting off and on. Breakfast is very simple but coffee is good. I wish all Super 8 Motels were as clean.
