LAZY. NOT OPEN 24HRS unless you get the right employees. Half the time, you get there, and the door is locked, and the employees are just hanging out inside. Call for a burger and you got a 50% chance of being told 'no, I don't feel like cooking right now'. Pretty ridiculous.

I have been stopping by this Allsup's convenience store since I was a kid. It's been more than a decade since I've lived in the area but I still drop by when passing through Fort Sumner. The employees have always been friendly and restrooms have been clean when I've used them. I'll surely be back again at some point.

You've got a great crew! Friendly, family feeling. Thank you for great service,with a smile. I'm not a full time local, mostly passing thru. But I always stop for fuel, food and a smile. They remember me for years now, the same crew. Speaks volumes for mgmt!

Relatively clean but worn and showing its age. Friendly clerks and a great candy selection. Great place to satisfy your munchies.

We were traveling home from vacation when the steering conked out in our car. AAA was having a lot of trouble that night and we ended up spending the night in their parking lot waiting for a tow. The folks there were kind and helpful and let us come in and use the very clean restrooms while we were waiting. They were a well stocked store and everyone was pleasant and sympathetic to our plight.

The cashier tonight is an absolute angel! I wish I had gotten her name! A real gem on this long drive with the motorhome. Really made us feel valued. Thank you!

Always a great stop. Refuel refresh, and relax before hitting the dusty trail. Great bunch of people that work there, polite professional and friendly. Clean bathrooms and always have my zero Gatorade.

The bathroom was clean and the store was well organized. The staff was polite, but too much so. Although masks are required in NM, they were allowing unmasked people in their stores without asking them to mask up. They had a box of disposable masks by the register, the people that were maskless were obviously just refusing to comply. I attempted to keep my distance but the cashier was counting out for a shift change and was taking forever to do so. While this happened, the line stated growing and it became increasingly difficult to distance from others. The situation felt very unsafe and for that reason, this store gets a 1 rating. I’ve seen people suffer from this horrible disease and it’s always a disappointment to see safety so poorly managed.

Clean organized gas station that was convenient. They had an interesting coffee machine that you could pick options and then add the creamer. Needed the coffee to keep driving 😉

This is by far the cleanest Allsup’s I’ve ever been to! The food is good and staff was friendly. We need more stores like this. All though there was a homeless looking character kind of behind the counter and walking through store hahaha but I’m sure it was probably just a ruff day for one of the employees at the best Allsup’s in New Mexico!

It’s ok. Store has heavy odor greasy food when you first walk in. Store is fully stocked and clean. Had a a bacon breakfast burrito without green Chile. Pre-cooked. Ready to go. (bacon, cheese, eggs, potatoes). Potatoes were the hash browns type a little under cooked. Other than that it was a good burrito. If I had this store in my home town it would be a place I would stop for a burrito and a soda in the morning.

Place is dirty and mid day shift people are just plain rude. Not sure what happened in the last couple months but they have really gone down hill on their quality and cleanliness.

Excellent customer service. It is a little hard to be a big rig (RV) in the gas stalls but it can be down. I would go here before I would go across the street.
