I don't live there so I can't review thataspect. However, I do use their "gym" from time to time and that's what this is about. If you advertise a gym and charge upwards of $60 a month to use it you really should have equipment that is in decent working order. There are I believe 5 exercise machines and all of them should be replaced. Most don't work at all and the ones that do make so much noise that it would drive anyone insane after 30 seconds. This has been brought up multiple times to maintenance staff and the front office but they don't do anything about it. It's odd because otherwise everything else is very clean and appears to be in good shape. Honestly, the gym should be free considering the state it's in. I don't mind paying to use a facility but It's reasonable to expect something in return for the exorbitant costs. Everyone who I've met at the gym agrees. It's too bad because it leaves a very poor impression of the place overall.I guess they know they are the only game in town which is even more infuriating.Fix the equipment or lower the price to $3.99 a month.

We stayed for 4 nights and really enjoyed this park. It was located close to the State Park and is very clean a quiet. Our site was level gravel with ample room for both our rig and toad. The main bathhouse had private rooms with a toilet, sink and shower in each. All were very clean. The smaller bathhouse is not as private but equally clean. The pool / hot tub is indoor and quite large. We had it to ourselves. The hot tub needs to be refinished but otherwise was fine. We did not try the WIFI as we have Starlink. All in all we were satisfied with this park and would definitely stay here again. We camped at Elephant Butte Lake RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Nice clean and very good accommodations. Large laundry rooms several very clean and well-kept shower/bathrooms. More paved concrete road areas than any other RV Park in this area. All the gravel sites are very well maintained. Two nice dog runs. The rates are no more than any of the other RV parks in Elephant Butte or Truth or Consequences.

We stayed here for a week. There are three roads into the campground off of the main road through town: the RV entrance is the middle road, with two check-in lanes. The campground has two main sections. The northwestern section, where the office is located, has mostly back-in sites and a short row of 8 pull-through sites. All of the sites have gravel yards and gravel pads, with the exception of some premium back-in sites that have a concrete pad. All of the sites are bordered by shrubs and tall pine trees, which helps give a private feel to each site, and are open to the sky. The back-in sites have a picnic table, the pull-through sites do not. Our site was a back-in site (138) in this section, and although it was a blind-side back-in we had no trouble backing in because of the wide concrete roadway in front of the site. The site was wide enough to park our truck next to the RV.The southeast section of the campground is downhill/lower than the northwest section. It also has a combination of standard pull-through sites and back-in sites, but also has three sets of "garden" pull-through sites where the sites surround a communal rock garden area. Most if not all of these sites also have gravel pads and yards and are open to the sky. There are a number of amenities scattered throughout the park. The office building contains a small store (souvenir items and soda) and lounge area with a TV. There is a building with an outdoor seating area in the middle of the northwest section with a laundry room, restrooms, and a dog wash. There is a similar building in the southeast section, but with a TV lounge area instead of the dog wash. The southeast section is also home to a pickleball court, a horseshoe pit, and a multi-purpose event center, accessible by key cards you receive at check-in. The event center has an indoor pool, a room with two pool tables, an outdoor patio with BBQ grills, and a meeting room/ballroom with a podium, a large presentation screen, tables and chairs, and a dance floor area. There are two enclosed dog parks: a small one next to the office building with a dusty gravel surface, and a large, two level park in-between the two park sections with a bench and several small trees. The large dog park receives light from a street lamp above the maintenance building next door. That street lamp is one of the few overhead lamps in the park, so on a clear night you can see a lot of stars. In terms of cell service, the best bandwidth I saw on my Verizon Jetpack with MIMO antenna showed 8 Mbps down and 21 up, but while I had no trouble working during the day there were some evenings when the network was too congested to effectively stream video. The speed test I ran on my 5G AT&T smartphone showed 61 Mbps down and 13 up. I used the campground WiFi on two occasions when the Verizon connection was unusable, and saw 4 Mbps down and 1.5 up.We would stay here again.

Had a wonderful short stay here. I wish we had more time to stay a few nights! The Rv sites were clean and big, with trees to give a bit of greenery and privacy. Our lot was level. The clubhouse with showers and laundry was clean and spacious. The staff and Rv stayers were all extremely friendly and welcoming. This park is close by everything and well worth it! Highly recommend

We stayed in a premium back in from November to February. Large flat sites, friendly helpful staff, dog park, laundry, showers, pool, hot tub, small gym and even a coin operated dog wash! This place was amazing and seems good for long or short stays-they have pull through spots near the front perfect for shorter stays. A place we plan to return to next year.

It's a cool place a lot of water well not like there used to be. But still nice kinda like being at the ocean with all the sand around it. Not to mention jet skis and speed boats going buy during the day. Only things I don't like about it are there's nor really any shade gets pretty hot cause all the sun reflecting off the sand and the jet skis/speed boats mess up the fishing during the day along with stiring up the lake making all the debri/trash wash up on the bank.

The best part was the people and the service - these guys have the best staff! Very easy to get into with our 45 ft RV and a 24 ft trailer. Super clean and well maintained, I would highly recommend this fantastic stop! Happy travels...Nearby activities: We saw the lake driving in, but it may be a little too far for a walk.

First time here. Spaces are large with shade. Lots of facilities, workout, pool, pickleball, water aerobics, walking trails. Clubhouse, rec center, 2 dog runs, tons of movie dvds, book exchange. Gas barbecues, use of kitchen facilities, dog wash. Staff is friendly and helpful. Sadly we were not aware of the movies and books until, housekeeping mentioned it the day before our departure. Close to boat rentals, golf and a great restaurant, Big Foot. (Dog friendly) . Don't miss the Veterans Museum! ( anything you forgot, walk to Dollar Store - more like Big Lots.Definitely will return.

This is the nicest RV park in the area! It has a pool and two dog parks. Also a laundry room and in the main office area there is a tv and coffee. They have a club house. It's a beautiful park and they have a very sweet staff. The pool room has a hot tub and work out room. Love going there!

Very clean, pool was really nice and hot tub too. Exercise equipment was pretty old and some not working. Wifi sucked. I don’t get these campsites who advertise wifi and when you have trouble their answer was hotspot with my phone. Really in this day and age and the price you pay you could make sure everyone has good wifi. I am in another campsite now and wifi is great here so it’s doable. It was quiet which is nice. Would of given 5 stars if wifi worked

Love this park. It is beautifully arranged, clean, with a great indoor pool and hot tub. We took classes offered at the pool, swam every day& I used the weight room. Cool in the early am & late pm. Great for walking. Our Brittany loved the desert. Close by open desert for a fun doggy run. 4000 ft was just right for a few days to get us ready for the high country.

We loved this resort and the area. Reserved a week and stayed for a month, Staff are superb and facilities are incredibly clean and well maintained. Loved the pool and rec area. Close to T or C. Lake is less than a few mins away. Great dog park/walk, and they have a lovely dog wash room next to the large laundry. Recommended.

We had a very good stay here. We have a 5th wheel and had plenty of room for our boat or jet skis. The laundry and bathrooms were very nice with private showers. There is an indoor pool currently closed due to Covid, but looks like a nice place for a group party. Also, it is very close to the lake. We will return!

What an interesting place. It's kind of off the beaten path, particularly when summer has kind of come to an end, but the amenities are some of the best we have seen. We have traveled across the US over the past four or so months and the amenities here were at the very top of any place we have stayed. The different levels are kind of hard to understand when reserving a spot but I doubt any spot is bad. The fitness center, pool, dog wash are all great! if we pass through again, we would stay again!

Found shelter here at the onset of the pandemic when the N.M. State Parks closed suddenly, Kealy the office manager was so helpful in getting me a site at such short notice, then twice more helping me extend my stay. The grounds are so well kept, beautiful Rose and Cacti gardens, laundry and bathroom facilities are spotless. All the staff I met during my 8 week stay were so friendly and always asked how I was doing. As someone who normally avoids private RV Parks I count myself so fortunate to have found a safe shelter here with wonderful people. It was a pity that the indoor pool and the clubhouse had to close 2 days after my arrival but I applaud the staff for adhering to the restrictions placed on them due to the Covid 19 virus. Location is so close to Elephant Butte Lake for those who like to swim or fish. Am going back next year. Would highly recommend this Park.
