Went to purchase a firearm and was rejected because my ID stated that I wasn't from clovis, mind you it was still a New Mexico state Id. Not only did they infringe upon my rights, but the employees have absolutely no knowledge over the laws in regards to how a firearm purchase is conducted. I do not recommend coming here.

Best place in town for all things farm & yard. Always buy the reasonably priced straw bales. Still haven't figured out how to get it home without coating my vehicle in tiny pieces of straw.They also have baby fowl for sale at varying stages of growth throughout the year. Check your area to ensure its safe to raise these babies and you have enough room. Gebo's also sells snacks, small kids toys, and the comfiest slippers I've ever put my feet into.Come prepared to shop with a plan!

My High school Alumni was coming and I needed a new outfit for the party! Gebos had everything I needed and the staff was very helpful and I liked the fact they let you take your time and answered all my questions. I'll definitely go back! I'm glad they still have that small town feel!

I have found that prices are somewhat better than most of your hardware stores… the service was good store was clean..The price of firearms at this location are the best in town wide selection of guns and ammo

They are magnificent you can find everything for guys and gals there love there Jean's and hats T- shirts I always come out of there with a high bill but it all worth the dough and the gals are always willing to help you

Good store but customer service wasn't great while we were there. We were greeted by the cashier when we walked in. The others seemed afraid to ask people if they needed assistance and stayed away from customers. There were a few that were gathered in areas just visiting. It's a good thing the store wasn't busy, but then that's the perfect time to provide customer service. Pretty good selection of products.

Good place to find bird seed, and other livestock feed. I like the friendly folks who work there, very helpful and always someone to ask for help. The store has so many things to look at it is fun to just enjoy looking. Lots of good Christmas gift ideas :)

I like going to this store because It’s close by and they pretty much have most of the things I need. Besides if you ever need nails of bolts, they’re so much cheaper here because they go by weight. The staff are really friendly and are always around to help you look for something and also help carry your stuff in and out of the store. The manager Liz is awesome, she’s very friendly and professional in her work. She helped me with a problem I had with a bird feed bag right away instead of arguing. I would recommend anyone to check this place out for your needs as they pretty much have a wide variety of merchandise.

Oh how we love our local Gebo's. They always have unique gift ideas for our loved ones. We enjoy the unique spices and one of a kind jams. They also have a great selection for animal feed and gardening needs. Staff are friendly.

Giant potholes in the parking is going to lead to vehicle damage. Also, it's rodeo weekend, and they have overstock carts and empty feed carts blocking the main register by the door. Those register areas should be clear considering the amount of ticket buyer there were lined up in there.

I love gevos they had ammo gun stuff for hunting they have stuff for camping and they have stuff for farming and so many other things a transfer tank at gebo's with 50 gallon capacity was only 300 & change. Great clothes and beautiful Joy so they have a wide assortment of things I even found a thermometer that mounts to the ball that's a circle that you can rotate left to right so I know what the temperature is inside my home. Good bargains to be found and every divas I have been and has had stacked the work over and above with helpful comments if you ask a question they always had answers and if they didn't know what or where they would find out.

Slightly better than it used to be. Prices are high on everything. We were looking around, not finding what we needed.. saw one employee.. he pretty much quickly looked up at us and turned his back to us like he didn't want to be bothered.

The staff is always friendly and helpful. I've been a long time customer and have seen this store deteriorate and thought it was going to close down. But the last two years showed lots of improvement. The store is clean and organized and the workers are good people.Update:. Just heard that Liz had quit as store manager. This is a sad day. She was the only one to breathe life into this company. Looks like I'll take my business to tractor supply and one stop feed from now on .

My apologies, I did get in a hurry with this review. I am working wind farm and felt I may not be back.on second thought I would like to tell every working man around that I wasted alot of time looking for work britches until I found Gebo's. They have every style of pants (size was my issue) that I could have wanted. Safely away from traffic the establishment can be found at the corner of 1st and Sycamore. I will be back for another visit before I leave town. Thanks for the friendly service, and if ever back this way, I will stop in to see what's new.

Went to purchase a gun 2 weeks ago, tried to follow up and all they would tell me is "we will call you when we hear something" asked if they could check it to make sure everything was right, they said no, we will call you when we hear something". Now here is the kicker, been buying guns for a long time (50Years old) and never have I waited more than a day. I have no criminal history, very gun cautions and safe. So I went to High Plains Gun Shop on Prince ST. I was cleared within 40 minutes of filling out he application (as I have been in the past" . So if your looking for a gun, don't go to Gebos and if your looking for good customer service, don't go to Gebos.

The Wildlife Dept of the State of New Mexico lists four locations in the city of Clovis as official vendors of NM fishing and game licenses. Gebo's is one of them, and I stopped in there, since it was the one location that did not require a detour to the north end of town on my way home (40 minutes out of town). When I got there, and asked about purchasing a fishing license, I was informed that only one employee in the entire store is trained to sell them and that they had already left for the day.What this means is that if you want to get a fishing license in Clovis, and Gebo's is your best option, you'd better hope that this particular employee isn't on lunch, gone for the day, has the day off, is on vacation, or sick. Because, while they are advertised as being an official vendor for state fishing and game licenses, in any of those cases, that is effectively false advertising.The reason that I am negatively rating the store overall for this instance is that it is indicative of a larger problem on a managerial level. Having spent a good percentage of my career in retail and other service oriented industries, if you are going to offer a service, it is imperative that you cross-train your employees so that you do not have gaps in your ability to offer service. At the very least, all managers (which this employee is) should be trained on stuff like this since at least one manager will be on duty at all times. That's just doing the bare minimum. Actually making an effort would mean that all employees assigned to that department are trained on that as well. The fact that something so simple as this has fallen through the cracks is indicative of management neglecting basic training responsibilities and an overall leadership failure that plans to fail by not planning to delegate as needed.Everyone complains that Wal-Mart and Amazon are killing small business. That's not the case. Small businesses are killing small businesses by offering poor customer service and not bothering to train their personnel so that they don't have gaps in their service. Yeah, you may have to wait 10-30 minutes at Wal-Mart for someone to come back to sporting goods to sell you a fishing license (as I observed recently when trying to buy ammo there) but at least someone is in the store who will eventually get there to help you. That's a lot better than "come back tomorrow". Or, you can do what I did, go online and do it there. Why are so many people resorting to getting everything online? I'll tell you why, it's because customer service in brick and mortar stores has deteriorated so much overall to the point that such establishments have devalued themselves by eliminating the one thing that they have to offer that online retailers and to some degree big box stores can't offer: the human element of good customer service. Nope, lets just go to Wal-Mart or get on Amazon and browse around and figure it out for ourselves. It's better than dealing with incompetent people who don't bother doing their jobs and training their employees on how to do their jobs.TL, DR: Don't bother shopping at Gebo's unless you want to deal with the fact that their managers either don't care enough about their job or are just too incompetent to bother cross-training their employees.
