PHARMACY - Absolutely the worst service that I have ever come across. Monday, 03/04/24 @ 7:30PM.Completely rude to say the least. Nobody should treat anybody, the way the pharmacy staff has done to me, tonight.Half way through helping me, they decide that they no longer wish to be bothered. It really does help me understand why this Walgreens has such a low rating.... keeping Albuquerque ghetto as possible, one Walgreens at a time.I will return in the morning to speak to the store manager, Tina.Carla was the manager in charge of the pharmacy at the time of the incident, & is just as completely worthless as the rest of the pharmacy staff.If you truly hate your jobs that much, please do us all a favor and quit.Thanks.

While everyone seems to be short-staffed these days, I have never had a truly unpleasant experience with any Walgreens. However, this Walgreens is too busy to take care of customers. I was directed to this particular Walgreens thru the insurance company since this Walgreens contracts with the insurance company for 90-day prescriptions. After being told "no-problem" twice by the insurance company and the pharmacy staff yesterday, I arrived after the designated time to pick up the prescriptions. I checked before I left the drive thru (after a 45-minute wait there because of the very long wait inside), and I only had 30-day prescriptions. I gave them back to the staff person and reminded her they were supposed to be for 90 days. She said the system would only approve for 30. I had told the staffers the previous day that the insurance company had said that Walgreen's would need to call their number (which I had provided) for verification. I was then told that they would call this afternoon and get it straightened out.I called back around 5 or so, and Walgreens said the wait times were too long, and they didn't have time to be on hold. I was put on hold and passed around to different people, including one woman who just put me on hold two different times when I was still speaking. Unbelievably RUDE! Do people not realize that a simple "Could you hold for a moment, please?", or "Would you mind calling us back in an hour when we aren't so busy?" gives customers a much better feeling than being cut off?I returned this evening, an hour before closing time, hoping they would be less busy and could help resolve the problem. They were much less busy and a very nice girl helped me. Unfortunately, she had no knowledge of the situation and could only tell me that the prescriptions had been transferred to another pharmacy. Of course, no one had bothered to contact me to tell me that, and I am pretty sure they just wanted to get rid of me. THE GOOD NEWS IS THAT THE WALGREENS AT 9700 MENAUL TOOK CARE OF BUSINESS AND I HAVE WHAT I NEED. Plus the staff there was great. Also to note that the Staff at the WALGREENS AT WYOMING AND MONTGOMERY ARE ALSO FANTASTIC. Live and learn, folks.

Their pharmacy is very very understaffed (or something). Tried to call ahead to ask a question about picking up a prescription for someone who is sick, but nobody answered the phones and the Walgreens automated phone service is total garbage. Went in person with everything I could think to bring to verify it for them, and they hadn't even filled it yet after 3+ hours. While I was there, I heard plenty of ringing phones that no one was making any effort to answer. I am thinking about switching my own prescriptions to not-Walgreens after this experience.

The Customer Service at this location is hit-and-miss for me. I would expect so-so or bad Customer Service from younger Staff Members, but it always surprisingly with older adult Staff Members.I'm usually here to run in and get something so I don't necessarily need intense and bright conversations and interactions, but just basic stuff like, greetings, reading off totals, asking if I would like a bag or receipt OR even a "have a nice day" would be nice.However, A LOT of the time I'm scanned and shoo'd out the door without any acknowledgement and it's noticeable.The selection is fair and well-stocked and the store is clean, but that Customer Service could use some improvement.

This is the worst pharmacy I have ever been to the pharmacist has literally no clue what she’s doing she has said things cannot be done that 6 other Walgreens have done before and since I asked this location. DO NOT FILL HERE AND FIRE THE PHARMACY STAFF. People need medicine and they could not care less.

So I almost never have an issue with Walgreens ,but today was an exception... I went in to buy NFL cards , because they have a great selection. The manager in charge (asian decent) was not very friendly when I told what I wanted she said I'll meet you at the register ,I told her if she needed help because it was a lot of boxes she said no , as she was trying to carry them she dropped them not once but twice . To many people is not a big deal but to collector it is , needless to say they lost me as a customer...

Stay away from this pharmacy. First, I went to the front with details of my prescription from my doctor, and with an attitude they told me I didn't have any prescription, but IF they get anything they'll text me. MIND YOU, THESE PRESCRIPTIONS WERE FOR NON-NARCOTIC COUGH MEDICINE AND PREDNISONE FOR MY COUGH AND COLD. Second I tried to get some Zyrtec-D, which I haven't bought any of in the last 3 months, and was told I've bought too much and can't buy any anymore. The people working the pharmacy were rude and discriminatory, though I can't tell you why. I highly suggest choosing CVS or any other place you can get a prescription.THIS IS THE FIRST NEGATIVE REVIEW I HAVE EVER WRITTEN That's how terrible the service was. It's bad enough that I'm sick, and then to be treated so poorly by people that are supposed to be there to help. This Walgreens is a complete disappointment.

Won't shop here again..Experience with pharmacy getting flu shot was great.Bought some items including hand soap which was $1 off. When I got home, looked at receipt and charged full price. Double checked on website. And yes overcharged.Called store, they checked and yes it is on sale but "I must have picked up a bottle which was not?" They blamed customers moving bottles.All bottles were the same, I explained, so either the item was not stocked properly or the price marker was misplaced.She agreed to refund the dollar if I would return to store, but refused to make the adjustment from my recept and credit card.Since it would cost more than a dollar and over 30 minutes to get refund I passed.WiLL NEVER SHOP THERE AGAIN since being overcharged on priced items is the same as theft to me.:(

Well I went yesterday to go get some earphones for my daughter and this was about 7:00 at night. When I got there there were three people one I know heavy set I think she was native American who was just sitting up on the counter when I went in I asked if I could get a pair of earphones and my daughter they just standing there . Then one lady help me after that. It was like they were just standing around doing nothing getting paid for nothing. Thought you should know. Like my 20-year-old told me if she was working there she's constantly be on her feet just like she is at her job he would not be just sitting there if they're on break then let them be on break if not then they need to be working like she said. I've never seen Walgreens people just standing they're always doing something.

I had an awful,embarrassing, discriminatory experience at this location. 9/14/22 around 4:00pm my BLACK mother and I entered this store not even 20 secs later the cashier at the front goes on the intercom and LOUDLY says "SECURITY SCAN THE AISLES"!!! My mother and I were so embarrassed and humiliated we pushed the basket back and left the store!!! We called the "manager" and got no apology nor did we get the loser "cashier" name!!! If you are BLACK avoid this store!!! 400 years later the HATE from them continues truly sickening....

Rated them a 1 out of 5 after several challenges filling a prescription several times. Today was on hold for 19 minutes with 3 different times being told they would be right with me and then on the fourth answer they hung up. I started checking other pharmacies for price comparison and Walgreens always is the highest price. Go to another pharmacy if you want better service and better prices.

The worst customer service at this pharmacy. Tried to get a COVID test done here, that's supposed to be sanitary. Snotty Pharm tech, Kim refused to put on gloves and gathered my swab, vile etc with her filthy bare hands, picky on labels with her filthy fingernails. I asked her why she wasn't wearing gloves And she said it wasn't necessary nor their protocol. I went to three other WalgreensAnd inquiredAnd they all insisted thatThey wear gloveswhile preparing the kits and handing them over. I returned to Kim and told her how wrong she was. She refused to listen And told me to get off her line. I hope her manager sees this and gets rid of her.

Don't go to this store. Their pharmacy staff doesn't know what they are doing. We've gotten vaccinations from Walgreen's for years without any problems. The assistant in this store couldn't look up our information (even with our insurance card and online account at Walgreen's) and tried to charge us full price for a flu shot.

The people at the pharmacy here are like the exception to the rule. They are so good, so nice, so funny. Loved their Halloween costumes! I think retail pharmacy is a grind for the workers but they really are exceptional here. Great job pharmacy!

I went to get my covid test. No where did it specify where I needed to get the test, in store or through drive thru. I then asked an incredibly rude employee where to go for the covid test, and she looked at me weird and said “pharmacy.” That’s it. I then went to the pharmacy, which Walgreens is always slow as hell as we know, and I had to wait more than 20 mins. Then when I asked about it, they said go through the drive through. This Walgreens is a waste of time.

Do not fill your prescriptions here. These people called and told me my prescription was ready, but when I arrived they apparently had no idea I had them filling a prescription for me. After they finally found in their system that they did have a prescription to fill for me they went to check for it and nobody had gotten it ready, even though they sent me a call saying it was done. They made me sit and wait for them to get it ready, which didn't take too long. While all of this was going on, they were very rude about the whole ordeal. These people are so low that they will even make fun of you for the prescription you are getting filled. This is a horrible place full of worthless people that don't deserve to work there. I really regret not looking at all of these reviews before I bothered using this pharmacy. Everyone should try to avoid this place and go to the Smith's pharmacy nearby instead; they are much nicer people.

(O_o) It would stand to reason that most of these bad reviews were written by disgruntled patrons who just happened to catch the store on an off day, or were unfamiliar with it's staff & day to day routines & operation/shift changes. I almost never have a problem at this location & if so I'm always helped in a timely manner. Yes, sometimes it gets busy & mistakes get made...just like anywhere else, but for the most part I find their crew very helpful, friendly & always courteous. Dusty is my favorite teller there~: )

The staff is always friendly. They do their best to keep up with the coupons brought in to help with any kind of drug cost discount. With the new ACA and frequent formulary changes their work has become increasingly more difficult and they are doing a good job keeping up with it. It is only going to get worse.

Every time we try to utilize this photo department, we wait over 10 minutes to get help. We just stand at the photo center repeatedly hitting the customer service button, which broadcasts a storewide request for assistance. That's absurd. Management needs to work better on appropriately staffing their store. Front register employee just stood and stared at us while we waited rather than calling a manager for assistance.

Ridiculous! Just called to verify prescription was ready and was told it was. Left the house immediately, risked life driving through the ice and snow to go and pick up prescription, got there, and whoever said that prescription was ready FORGOT or OMITTED to mention the pharmacy had actually closed early!!! Absolutely ridiculous!

It's a well kept store and not too busy (at least at the times I go). The staff are friendly, helpful and I always can find what I need here if Smith's looks too busy. It's a good Walgreens!

I’d just like to say that I’ve worked at this store before, DO NOT go to this store the management may seem nice and sweet on the outside but they discriminated against me by not giving me hours for over a month and told other stores not to hire me behind my back! when I tried to transfer!!!, I cannot express how terrible this store is! Don’t trust the management there, they are liars and a waste of your time. They certainly are NOT well managed at all for all I care the management can go and screw themselves.

My favorite Walgreens in Albuquerque. It's a smaller store, but I've never had a problem finding what I wanted. Always clean and well lit with great employees.
