Today I stopped to buy a gift card and a card for someone. I paid for it and was waiting for my receipt and the cashier automatically started scanning the next person’s groceries without giving me my receipt. Well when she realized what she had done, she had charged me for everything., she had to call the manager to fix the mess SHE caused. She was upset and kept blaming me for not saying anything. I thought she knew what she was doing. It’s obvious she wasn’t paying attention. I didn’t appreciate that she very loudly and rudely kept blaming me for HER stupidity. I’m sorry I didn’t get her name.She had beach blond hair. 🙄

The products are marked as a sales price For example buy 5 for $1.99 each. You put in your number into the register for discounts. Then you don't get the discount because you need to log into the app to get a coupon. I think this is ridiculous. Who has the time for this? If you want to give discounts with coupons fine but don't advertise the price in big letters where you have to squint to see the fine print.

Just have to share an experience with anybody who's going to try to get a job at this place. This is what drives this place from the different candidates when trying to find places to work.I applied to work at this place a couple years ago, just for them to turn me down for no reason, even though I really need a job, forcing me to go back to courier services.What's even funnier, is my dad's next door neighbor who's an alcoholic, works at this location, and my uncle who passed away from drinking himself to death (yet again, alcoholic) got a job at this place, but they won't hire somebody who definitely needed a job and was willing to learn some expertise.

The self checkout lady, Noleen, is rude and discriminate. She basically accused me of stealing because I didn't show my receipt when I've never been asked for one before and I felt singled out. The next time she held a grudge for talking to a manager and obviously her attitude towards me wasn't fixed. I left there upset, twice, because of Noleen.

I dislike this Smith's location very heavily. The layout is so different from all of the other locations and it just is jarring and doesn't make sense.The parking lot is a complete mess in how it's laid out and the inlets and outlets into this shopping center in general are awful.I dread having to navigate the parking lot and store whenever I do have to come here. I don't recommend.

Disappearing digital coupons, in this case for 12 pk of Coke. I bought 1 pack earlier in the week. The day before the coupon ended it is no longer in the system. Cashier argued with me that someone must have access to my account and bought more which is not true.

Great price with quality to match Kroger brand products are great. especially when your looking for gluten-free products that don't break the bank. One of my favorite smith's to go to can't go wrong with their deli as well. Quality comes in mind when buying meat and cheese and smith's holds up to there standards of always having the freshest products. I personally also enjoy their floral when you walk in this smith's always has the most beautiful arrangements of flowers and plants I always spend a little time enjoying them.

Will not shop at this store ever again the lady at the meat/seafood counter is so disrespectful and rude to customers! For needs to be let go of her. Having an employee like this is a liability to the store!

I’ve been shopping at this location for about 15 years now. It’s the closest store to my house. Never fails how disrespectful the employees are to me. They constantly racially profile me in suspicions that have something to steal. This really puts me in a bad mood and I wish there was a closer location. Anyone of any type of color just take note that you will have to deal with the blatant and disgusting disrespect.

I don't usually shop here because of bad experiences with groceries. However, I needed a cake and quickly. So, to be fair I did place the order needing the cake the very next day. But I made sure to select a cake that is pre designed with a few words added on so that it wouldn't be difficult. When I placed the order there was, to my surprise, an option to have the cake ready the very next day later in the evening, which was perfect! I then sent a friend to go pick up the cake and they didn't have it anywhere and keep saying that it wasn't this location. I specifically have the confirmation receipt confirming store date and time my cake would be ready. Their only solution was to come back the next day to see if it was there, it would be too late by then, but because of how late it was the bakery was closed and could not talk to the bakery directly. I think if these times are offered then the orders should be completed on time. Don't offer the time slots and not have the order at all. Thankfully, I did not pay for the cake. Just frustrated I didn't get something I ordered and had confirmed.

This smiths is awesome - the sales associates are wonderful and the store is always clean and stocked. Check out the discounted flowers for amazing deals!The pharmacy is what really made me want to write a review. Chad the pharmacist is knowledgeable and extremely helpful. He’s worked hard to get my prescriptions on time despite there being a shortage and only a few covered by my insurance. Oftentimes I don’t have to wait long on the phone for assistance and the lines usually aren’t too bad! Shoutout to chad and all the wonderful pharmacy technicians at this location

Let's talk about this Smith's and how apparently if you are a employee there management is perfectly OK with workplace bullying. I have seen one worker especially do nothing but treat customers and her fellow employees like pure garbage. I will no longer be shopping there .

One (or maybe less) stars for purchasing gift cards. Do not buy gift cards at Smiths at 8301 Golf Course Rd NW. This is the 3rd Visa gift card that somehow I purchase and by the time I go to register it, it has been used already!!?! Smiths Customer Service was not helpful (or very pleasant), even with my purchase receipt AND the Activation Status Report receipt, and gave me the Kroger phone number. The Kroger folks (who could barely speak or understand English) gave me the Gift Card phone number. The Gift Card folks could barely understand or speak English. Now I have to FAX detailed info about myself and the card to even open an investigation!!

Way to turn it around, Smiths! I filled a new prescription yesterday. I called at 11 to make sure they got it, called back at 2 to see when it would be ready. She said, come pick it up at 3. I show up at 3:30. She said, "oh, I lost track of it, sorry" and only then did she find out THEY DIDN'T HAVE IT. That's why I called not once, but twice, and took off work. However, the pharmacist leapt in, apologized, called the Smiths at McMahon and they had the scrip ready by the time I drove up there. Good save.

I called the deli for a big party platter chicken order recently with less than 24 hour notice. It was for my stepdads memorial and I had been so stressed and forgot to order 24 hours in advance. I called and begged to get the order even though it was less than 24 hours in advance. To whoever took my order that day, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for doing the order for me! I was holding back tears on the phone and sobbed the minute I finished the order by how kind you were and that you helped me in that moment. Thank you for going above and beyond when you didn’t have to. It meant more than you know!!

I shop at Smiths almost every other day but late I’ve noticed two of the cashiers have been a bit rude. They don’t greet you and they act like your not appreciated, just saying. The worse thing is having to enter on the second entrance due to the Starbucks line causing near accidents.

I went to exchange something yesterday morning, it was a $12 hair color that I bought the night before and wanted to exchange for a different one. Of course, I couldn't find my receipt, but I used to work at the Kroger in Colorado so I know you can look it up with my debit card and my customer reward card, so I figured it wouldn't be a problem. I knew they would probably be suspicious at first, and I understand because I know how bad the shoplifting problem we have here is, but I figured once they looked it up it would be fine. I had to go to a register because the customer service desk wasn't open yet, and there was a worker named Gwen there. I told her the situation and she immediately tells me there's nothing she can do about it. I told her no, I know you can look it up with my cards, I used to work here. She kept insisting that she couldn't do anything, so I told her to call the manager, Gwen then lies to me and says there is no manager available, so I told her to call somebody else then. She walks away from me without answering and goes to talk to another lady,and I followed her because I knew she was going to tell her something that was inaccurate. The first thing I hear Gwen say is "I know she stole it." Oh man, I really had to buy my tongue, but I told her I didn't steal it and she shouldn't judge people like that. I don't judge their workers and say things like "you're too old to be working the cash register at a busy store" or anything like that. The lady that she was talking to, who did happen to be a manager, informed me that they can also look it up with the Smiths app. Since I moved here recently from Colorado I only have the King Soopers app which is their Kroger store, and she said it should all be connected, which it was. So I was able to find my digital receipt and show it to the awesome manager ( I wish I would have gotten her name, but I was so angry, but she was great) and I was able to exchange my product. If Gwen wasn't so lazy, judgmental, and rude, she could have taken 2 minutes to look up my information and see that I did buy it and this all could have been avoided. Someone like that should not be working in customer service.

I can’t say enough good things about the deli and bakery. They catered the entire funeral lunch for 50 people, and what a job they did! There were so many compliments on the quality and presentation of the food. Y’all are amazing! Thank you so much.

Clean store with friendly staff. My only complaint as a shipt and spark shopper is this store and all smiths stores are the worst stores to try to find things in. Lastly, walmart and target all have a isle location along.with a specified location to locate their groceries.Smith's really needs to consider using a method like this. I dread shopping for my customers until they do. No method behind the madness in my opinion.

Every-time I have needed assistance from a manager at this location it’s been the worst experience. The cashiers are always friendly and willing to help but once they need a managers assistance, for exchanges or returns, the managers always make it their duty to make what seems like a simple transaction the hardest to complete.
