Had a terrible experience just now at the deli counter. Smiths should be ashamed of the person they have hired that has a complete inability to communicate with customers. If you can’t communicate without being a disrespectful human being, you should be in the back where no one can see you.

Even though I don't live nearby, I've been a loyal customer at this Smith's for a while. Despite the distance, I appreciate their food selection and usually excellent service. However, during my visit today, I encountered issues with one of the self-checkouts. The worker, Joanne, who assisted me, was quite rude. It's unfortunate, as the staff here are usually very friendly. Joanne could use some training in customer service.

Friendly, efficient staff. I have shopped here each week for many years in a row. Well stocked supermarket with a wide selection of items. Clean place. Reasonable prices. The Smith's Gas pumps are on west side of Wyoming Blvd and the supermarket is on East Side of Wyoming Blvd NE, north of Paseo Del Norte Blvd. NE.

Long time staff are still the rudest. Because they're unionized and have tenure they think they can treat customers badly- and they do bcuz they face no consequences. Sad that we keep paying their salary and they're too ignorant to appreciate that.

This is a HUGE Smith's. I like going here when I am up here so I really recommend it.The downside is that it is insanely busy at all times of the day.However, the shelves are always stocked and the store and parking lot are always clean. Lots of good teenagers with good work ethic work here (which you frankly don't see to often at a grocery store).

Cecilia was an amazing shopper!! I only chose the delivery option because my dog had no more food & I couldn't get to the store. In the middle of the shopping, she was able to switch my cat food ( my cat still had food) for dog food ( he didn't have anything for dinner!!) I ordered it, but it didn't show up. She allowed me to switch it out!! & I am so grateful!!! I work 7 days a week!! I am so tired!! & she helped me so much!! SHE DESERVES A RAISE!!

This Smiths has some of the most judgmental and rude staff I’ve ever come across. Greg in the Nutrition department is absolutely condescending, rude and unhelpful. They have crates and bins everywhere you can’t even walk. Try and avoid this location if you can because you’ll receive horrible customer service.

I was in awe with this store. It was very clean, everything was stocked military straight. The prices were competitive and the cashiers were very friendly as was everyone I had contact with. My groceries were bagged promptly. I'm not sure if I have ever been in a store that impressed me like this store has anywhere in the USA. Not kidding.

Everytime you go you have to try and get around stockers and stockers carts, crates of food in front of freezer sections etc. Pre-Covid things were evidently stocked at night to prevent impacting customers trying to shop. Now there are stockers carts everywhere and some isles can’t even be gone down with a cart! Today same issues and now another added issue, cans of food sitting on the floor below shelves and no one is stocking them so now another impass. Ugh! I’m looking for another store to shop in!

Very gross!! I bought salami today, 3/22/23, got home and realized it expired 2/12/23!! This has happened multiple times, with various different foods. Completely disgusting.

This is a great store. I go there quite frequently throughout the week. I'm giving it one star because after I checked out and was already out at my car, the lady overseeing self checkout came out shouting in front of everyone that I didn't ring up the sprites and chicken iny basket. I kindly pointed out where the items were on the receipt that she brought out with her. I've never been treated in such a way. I feel that as often as I visit the store, this employee should recognize me. I go there a lot and don't appreciate being falsely accused and having my reputation defiled. The employee made a scene and there are coworkers and patients of mine who shop there as well. I feel that because of my husband's appearance, we were profiled and treated this way as a result because we have always paid for everything and have never acted suspiciously or been a problem if any kind. I am quite shocked at the experience.

Walked up and was reading the MANY signs stating this Smiths closed "until further notice" when a security guy & employee exited the store in front of me. He rudely barked, "THE STORE IS CLOSED" even though I was standing inches in front of a freestanding sign to that effect and had obviously been reading it. I pointed out my capacity to read and asked if he could tell me anything about why the shut-down. He snapped, "NO, I CAN'T!!," and the employee standing next to him did nothing to correct his tone, apologize, or supply any insight as to when if ever this location will reopen – in fact she remained completely silent.Here's a news flash, Smiths: An unadvertised 'closure' "until further notice" doesn't mean Open Season on dissing previously uninformed people who've expended their time and gas showing up in good faith trying to _Give You Money_.

To the girl and anyone working self check out. You work in customer service, I did it for years and you are horrific at it. If a customer spills a jar of pickles, it breaks while they are checking out, the good customer service act would have been getting me another jar of pickles. So thank you not even doing your basic job. Had to stop at Albertsons for pickles, thank you Albertsons for your great customer service.

Do not go here. Joe, an employee is hostile and dangerous. The security guard empowered inappropriately empowered him. Watch your back if you are a woman. I believe 100% those cowards would not have bullied a man. Management was contacted multiple times and they NEVER RESPONDED!No wonder their store is closed! As bad as it gets.

The store by la cueva high school love shopping there. I shop there a lot. Today was very shocking and disappointing. Me and my 6 year old son were accused of not paying for candy that my son put in his pocket it was the first thing my boy rang up. This clerk with back and colored hair short heavy stock at self serve ran up to me as if I had committed a crime. This lady has seen me in this store everytime I come in. I have always paid for my stuff. I have never felt so attacked like that in my life. Something should be done about how to approach people and not profile them just because of our appearance. Very disappointed.

Visited this Smith’s about a week ago and was very impressed! The employees restocking items were so kind and asked if I needed any help or assistance with anything. The cashier and gal helping me bag my items were also so sweet and kind! Great location!

Incredibly polite staff. Kind in all aspects. If you need help finding something they have no hesitation helping you regardless of what task they are currently doing. The security makes themselves known and but are very polite as well. I can admire a store that cares about loss prevention because it keeps the consumers cost down by reducing loss by theft. The produce is always clean and fresh and the meat department is always presentable and clean. Yes I can save at Walmart down the street but the quality and customer care isn’t even close.

We typically checkout through the self serve area. A few days ago we did a little heavier shopping & decided to checkout via one of the full service lanes.All was fine & cordial paying for our groceries but when it came time for packing them into our basket, Lawanda refused to assist in bagging our groceries or even attempting to load them into our basket. I made mention to her about her lack of customer service but she continued to just stand there & watch us load our groceries from the checkout. She’s a poor excuse for any company to have as a frontline customer service representative.

Went in with my elderly grandmother and she needed help finding an item. She approached an employee (taller thin man. I believe his his name tag said Greg ) and he completely ignored her and rudely turned his back to her. I thought he had headphones in and couldn't hear her, but after he turned his head I realized he didn't. He was just ignoring her.After trying to get his attention for the 5th time(I'm not exaggerating), I went up to him and told him my grandmother needed help finding an item. He turned to my grandmother and interrupted her with a random aisle number before she even finished asking her question, and then he just walked away. Very rude. We went to the aisle number he told her and the item she was looking for wasn't there. We had to ask another employee who was very helpful and walked us to the other side of the store where the item was (nowhere near where the first employee said it was).Glad the second employee was so helpful, but the first employee was extremely rude and unhelpful towards my elderly grandmother.

Sent my daughter to buy shrimp for shrimp cocktail she came back with 2 packages. They were both spoiled. This is not the first time i've gotten spoiled food from smith they need better quality control.

I am not one to write reviews but this really bothers me. The advertised price that requires a digital coupon is a joke! I tried once to download the digital coupon for the pint sz Haagen Daaz ice cream and it took me to dead-end. Today , I grabed blueberries, a house plant and Omeprozole thinking that the sale price was good for all card members. To my surprise, they all needed a digital coupon you have to download. First of all, I’m pretty ok with a smart phone but the connection in the store is so slow and choppy, it’s annoying long to access the site. Second, how is that fair for those who don’t use a smart phone or can’t figure out how to make it work (me). Then there’s the folks who don’t even realize the didn’t get the sale price because the yellow signage didn’t say it’s a digital coupon. This is false advertising. No where on the yellow sale sign did it say “digital coupon “. This is yet another scam towards unknowing consumers.please just offer the sale pricing for all card members without having to go through the ridiculous hoops of a digital coupon.

Good store and I've shopped here for decades, but it's gotten worse since COVID and hasn't returned. Store closes at 10 now instead of 12. It's understandable why, but if Kroger paid more perhaps they could hire more people easier?They have only self checkout 7ish to 10..As a person with health issues lifting things in self checkout is very hard, and it would be good if they had at least 1 check out person at all times.
