I've taken 3 of my doggies to Pups N Suds over the last 2 years and if we ever moved out of the area, I would continue to make the drive so they could be groomed here. 2 of my dogs are very anxious and the groomers here are so incredibly patient and loving toward my sweet babies, giving them breaks as needed and taking extra time to make sure they can be groomed safely.

I should have trusted my instincts and first impressions and taken my sweet pup some where else. The facilities were obviously unkept, complete filth. The only “attendants” to be found were very literally minor children, who themselves should not dwell in such unsanitary conditions. I could not recommend this place for even the mangiest of dogs. Do yourself and your loved pup a favor and look elsewhere!

Professionalism was lacking at every aspect. The facility is filthy. Kids running around even answering the phone, which hung up on me twice. Lots of excuses. And the worst part was my big dog had no water for 7.5 hours.We definitely won’t return. This place has gone really far downhill in the last few years.

I am very picky about where my boys go!I was a little concerned at first, BUT I came in the last hour and a half….and watched, and honestly….as stressful as it can be as a dog owner to have your babies away for so long….these girls and this business totally love on them…and make them so comfortable! Each dog gets its own attention and love, it’s very thorough. They talk to your pet, and love on them. beautiful things take time. And it’s stressful enough for our animals, it can’t be rushed. But the groomers want them comfortable, that is priority. And it’s beautiful!Good grooming, and love and care takes time. Nothing is rushed, nothing is pressured, it’s so tender and perfect! My boys were so happy, and loved, when they got stressed I listened and heard the groomers talking to them and rubbing and loving them thru the process. It takes time to give a dog self care and love, and I love this business, we will totally be back.I appreciate the diligence each person took who touched my dogs. And spoke to them, and I’m grateful for each person because this is a craft. Thank you again, we are so thankful and clean, and happy! But I am especially happy knowing my boys go to a business and a place where they are being encouraged and loved and cared and loved on thru the entire process! Good things take time, and I appreciate you guys for understanding each dog is different and doing your diligence with each baby in your care!

At first, I was skeptical and nervous about bringing my 4 month old Golden Retriever here because of some of the bad reviews I read, but I am so happy I did. We had such an amazing experience for our first visit. I highly recommend this place. Everyone was so friendly and gave us and our sweet fur baby prompt attention. I took my elderly pup in today, and not only did the ladies here accommodate us at the last minute, they took good care of my senile, terrified girl. She was matted and in pretty bad shape, hating to be groomed these days, uncomfortable, and in some pain, but the ladies at Pups N Suds got her cleaned up. She smells so fresh and clean, and she's so happy to have her hair done! Thank you, ladies!

WARNING !! THEY WILL HURT YOUR DOG! As you walk in, it looks like a sweat shop of dog groomers. My dog was there for 5 hours. Doesn't seem like they bathed her., Face and paws are still dirty. Haircut was poorly done with patches of hair not cut and cut too close to the skin. I'm not even sure they even performed the tooth brushing, extras I paid for. The worst part is after I brought her home she lifts her paw when I take her for walks. I will update this review when results from the vet.

I pondered over writing this review because I wanted to be sure I was correct on my facts before speaking. I took my Dog here to be groomed awhile back, he arrived home more dehydrated than I could believe I’ve never seen him drink so much! He came home with a deep gash and scratches on his forehead that became severely infected. He also started having ear mites right after the visit which is still an ongoing problem we can’t get rid of. I confirmed these conditions were caused by the groomer and facilities. I am disappointed that clean tools and more taking care of was not done for my dog. It’s taken months to recover from the one and only visit my dog had here, I would stay away at all costs!! My crate trained dog became suddenly fearful of the kennel and to this day will not go in one. This place is dangerous for your dogs health and that’s why you sign a waiver when you drop your dog off that they “are not responsible” but if they know they are not responsible then they should not be running a dog grooming business and should be ashamed of their animal care procedures. Trusting them with my dog was a mistake! P.S. they deleted the photos I posted of how badly they hurt my dogs head to try to hide the truth!! Apparently it was too graphic for the ratings rules.. that's how bad they hurt my dog!!

Professional, competent and caring. They asked great questions about each dog and worked with their specific issues (arthritic hips, skin sensitivities, etc). They were able to accommodate us in less than 2 weeks and were very responsive to phone messages. The girls all came out calm, looking sharp and smelling great! Thank you so much Erica and Kathy. We'll definitely be back!

Took my standard poodle puppy. They charged me $120 for a horrible hair cut that I didn't request. Even the Groomer said she didn't look good!

Took my little dogs there for the first time for a long overdue nail trim. There was no wait and the staff was very friendly. Other places I have taken them to bring the dogs into a back room for grooming, opposed to here where your puppers can see you and I believe that makes them more comfortable. They did hit the quick, but I don't fault them as my dogs nails were very long and very dark making it hard to see. They did put on doggie liquid band-aid, again which differs from other groomers who have hit the quick, didn't say anything and left one of my dogs limping around for a few days. Overall we were in and out in ~15 minutes. 10/10 and will definitely be going back.

Took our toy golden doodle here to be groomed (our regular groomer was booked too far out) and came home devastated. Supposedly her hair was so matted that they had to cut her down to about a quarter inch length, including her ears, which are now about 1/3 the length they used to be. Ridiculous - since we bathe and comb her out weekly at home. If they’d bothered to apply any doggy conditioner, they would have found her tangles come out rather easily. Our regular groomer has never had any issues. Now her gorgeous ears that we’ve been growing for a year are gone and she looks like a bald pink chihuahua. So much for a “classic fluffy golden doodle, teddy bear, long curl” cut. Not to mention that she was there for 7 hours. Normally our dog is happy when we come to pick her up from the groomers. This time she was traumatized. Kind of feel like I dropped my child off at daycare and came back to find she’d been abused while I was gone. Maybe they do better with short-haired breeds, but I will never take a dog back there. Very, very sad.

If anyone wants quality dog grooming this is the place to be! Great prices for amazing service! The staff here is all around awesome. Been coming here for years and will continue to do so.Giving your dog a bath can be fun and challenging at the same time but let's face it, no one REALLY wants to do it.. Book an appointment and drop off your dog and wait for the results. You'll be happy 😁. Don't forget to tip the staff and thank them because they care and you should also! Only had my dog groomed two times here at this point, but each time they seem to have done a good job with him. It does take all day though, which is a huge bummer cause I'm sure he's scared and thirsty the whole time. Granted, that's been my experience at other groomers in Albuquerque as well, and he's a big dog with a thinks coat. It's a shame it takes so long, and the grooming experience is also pretty inconsistent based of who you get/whoever is working that day.It is definitely a plus that this place is so close to home, which is why I tried it out, but either way my dog has always come back clean and deshed.

My 5 month old puppy was there for 6 hours. This was his 3rd grooming experience. We decided to try it out because it is close to home. He came home without his face/head trimmed or his nails trimmed. His body was shaved way too close to his skin and he had a cut on his leg. They offered to have him come back the following week to finish but I honestly don’t think they know what they’re doing. Would not go back.

We have taken our 70 pound dogs to Pups and Suds the last 3 years for bath, de-shedding and nail trim. The staff are very friendly and have a great re pore with the dogs. Are dogs are always happy and never stressed out. Their service is terrific - really cuts down on the hair shedding. Highly recommend.

The groomers are wonderful. Chewy and I appreciate their hard work. He is so handsome when I bring him home. Shih tzu’s can be difficult, however the groomers are great with Chewy. Thank you Pups N Suds Grooming team!

I am a dog sitter and was dropping off a client’s very old dog. I asked them to please call me as soon as she was done getting groomed so I could come get her and left my number, explaining that I am the dog sitter. They did not call. I called after 4 hours and they said she was “drying.” I called again before closing time (by that point this poor old dog had been there for almost 6 hours, which is really stressful for her). They said they had called and left a message on the OWNER’s phone, who is out of town. It was really not well-handled. They also charged $75 for a bath and brush, which is insane. For being an indoor business, none of the groomers were wearing masks on 05/04/21.

This feels like the happiest place on earth when I walk in!!!! I absolutely love this place!!! They really care about my dogs and send them home with the cutest bandana and bow! They always call me right when my dog is done so I know when to go and get my pups. This is the only groomer I'll ever go to!! 🐕❤🐕‍ 💕🐶

We have taken all our dogs (a peek-a-poo and a cock-a-doodle) to Paige for years. We don't have a particular grooming style for them but usually get the length of their coats cut depending on the time of year -- a bit longer in the winter, shorter in the summer. Paige always does an amazing job. They come out looking fresh and clean and I can tell the pup feels good too.

I would not bring a large dog (or for that matter small either) here. Our husky was there for four hours and we took her home washed but not groomed. No fan, nothing. And they told me she would be ready in another hour. BS. I realize huskies are not a quick groom. However I'm sure the other three dogs being groomed had not been there for four hours. Wont go back, ever. Worst 49 dollars ever spent. Not to mention probably a bad time for the dog. Sorry puppy. We'll never take you back there.

Scheduled for a noon appointment on a Saturday for our small, 7 month old puppy. Was told it could be 3 to 5 hours. Went to the business at 7pm to find out that AFTER 7 HOURS, the only thing that had been done was a bath! No nail trim, and a haircut would have taken another hour. To top it all off, he had dog feces on his paws!!! We elected to take our puppy because it had been 7 hours, he had not eaten, and we could hear him crying in the back. $23.00 bath to go with a Horrible experience, will never step foot again in this business!! Beware, don't put your pets through this!!

We have used them several times for grooming services, but we will not be returning. Our poor poodle pup was there for over 5 hours and returned with a hack job!! Hair uneven and in chunks!! Staff was rude on the phone and I visibly witnessed groomers being very rough while brushing small dogs. One dog was left tied on a table, wet, and upset with no attendant the entire time I waited for my dog to be released. It was disappointing.

I called on a Saturday to see if I could get my dog in on Sunday and they got her in the next day. She is very hard to groom because she hates the blow dryer and it takes for ever to dry her. They did a fantastic job today and very thankful for their services.
