Wish I had known this store was here when we bought our first Miele vacuum! The service at this store is excellent! The store associate, Phillip, helped us to pick out exactly what we needed to clean up after 6 cats, 1 dog and 2 humans. It was so refreshing to not have someone pressure you into buying the most expensive vacuum in the store. They are low on inventory right now but it is so worth a trip there if you want a great vacuum and excellent service!

The vacuums are great but the manager "Tom" is a huge jerk. We had just received our vacuum back from its scheduled, routine maintenance. I noticed the vacuum still did not have a lot of suction, so I called to ask if it might be in need of repair and get an estimate for the cost. Before I could even explain that I had NOT called to complain, he launched into a huge, rude tirade. He was yelling at me and saying things like "you customers think you know everything" etc. I hung-up the phone and took the vacuum apart myself. It turns out there was a huge (easy to remove) plug of hair, dust etc in the main tube. I removed the plug and vacuum works great again. Unfortunately, the maintenance cost me $70 and they hadn't even bothered to clean the main tube. I'm sure the issue could have been settled easily but not after the way he treated me. I now get all my spare parts, bags, and belts online. I'm never going back to that store again (Pavilions at San Mateo).

Something was wrong with my Oreck, so I promptly took it to the Oreck store. The man quickly removed the lid and removed the belt. I handed him one of my spare belts, and he replaced my damaged one. Fast service and no charge. I was quickly on my way.

The owner "Tom" was very rude and condescending to me over the phone! I asked if he had any Oreck XL bags in stock and he replied "This is an Oreck store its like asking a McDonalds if they have french fries!" I personally have been to a McDonalds that ran out of french fries...so Im sure an Oreck store can have merchandise out of stock! I just wanted to make sure before I made the 45 min trip into town. He just lost me as a customer as well as any other person I know who has an Oreck, which is several!

The owners took care of me after some initial problems. The vaccuum service center still has a ways to go to improve service to the machines and customers.

Had to take our vacuum twice for repair. First time it still wouldn't work on our low pile carpet. They fixed it under warranty. Free parking in a busy shopping center.
