I’m a certified professional dog trainer from another organization who was looking for a humane, science based training class for my chihuahua puppy, as there wasn’t space available in the one at my org. I’m so glad that Arie had a spot for us in her class because it was great for us and our little gal! As a fellow trainer I can say that everything was done carefully and thoughtfully, with emphasis on helping our dogs to gain confidence and skills using reward based training that will serve them for the rest of their lives. Arie also made sure class was safe for the puppies- everyone was vetted and the facility was sparkling for every class. Highly recommend!

Arie did an in-home session with my rescue dog a few months after I adopted him. Arie gave me really good advice and instructions to help with his reactivity and separation anxiety, and showed me how to work with him to do simple tricks to boost his self-esteem. Took the puppy class for my Great Pry Daisy (majestic creature) and love the staff they’re always friendly. Love the positive training base. They always patient with me and always there to answering my questions. Arie is really informative, and Daisy love her treats recommendation (Ziwi). Also been taking her for playgroup with Central Park, Diasy loves it even the staffs there….yeah good place. Nice😂😂😂☺️☺️☺️ 🤓🤓🤓🤓 WOULD 100% RECOMMEND!

I adopted my dog a few months ago and though she had some anxiety, we were able to go on two 30 min walks every day! But after a series of walks with very loud bus/truck noises triggering her, she wouldn’t leave the house (not even to go to the bathroom). After a few weeks of trying to get her back outside on my own, I decided to enlist Arie’s help. I wanted a fear free and positive reenforcement training regimen for my dog and that’s exactly what I got! After 1.5 weeks of following Arie’s suggestions, Max was able to go on her first walk today after almost a month (see pic) and had the most intense zoomies afterwards. I’m so grateful to Arie for giving my dog a new lease on life!

We've had the best experience taking our cavalier spanial here. We started with puppy class and then our pup enjoys occasional day care when she needs a play day with adorable pups. We are treated very well and our dog even better. We've had a private lesson, with Ari, for a behavior issue and found it very helpful. Taking our pup here was a great decision.

Our family can’t recommend Arie’s Dogland enough. We have been taking our rescue yellow Lab there for 2.5 years now. When we adopted her it was clear she needed both confidence and socialization. She has blossomed as a result of her time & the work of Arie, Miranda, Leslie, Amanda, Colin and the whole team. (Thank you guys!) They helped us come up with a plan including Arie coming to our house for a consultation for behavior services. Both the doggy day care they provide and the in-home services are phenomenal. They are all very professional, passionate about dogs and truly have become family.We love the personalized notes they send home with your dog each day following day care. They aren’t just your dog is cute and had fun, they are informative, clever and often funny- it is often the highlight of my husband and my evening we save them to read together.They treat Miss Mattie like their own and notice the smallest details. They will let you know if she seemed tired, or allergies are acting up so you can get ahead of it.We can not recommend them enough!

Guys, now that I've got a little free time on my hands, I thought I'd take a moment to let everyone know that Arie's Dogland is one of the absolute best places in NM for dogs and their people. We discovered them when we enrolled our new boxer puppy in obedience class last summer, and we haven't left since! They care so deeply about what they do and for the dogs that are left in their care, that we have never once felt any bit of anxiety over leaving our baby boy with them for a day of fun play and exercise. Not that we took them for granted before, but during this time when they're unavailable, we appreciate what they do even more. It's hard to tell with a boxer, but I could swear that he is at least a little depressed about not being able to hang out with Arie and Miranda a couple times a week like usual... Baxter can't wait for this to be over so he can get back to his Arie's friends and family! Thanks for all you do, and hang in there until things normalize!*Edit 4/21/20: Just got my first online dog food order delivered! Amazingly Awesome! That's all I have to say about that. Thank you guys so much...

They are friendly, helpful, and always offer endless resources for training and caring for dogs. They have made a huge impact in how my dogs behave. I have had the pleasure of 2 encounters with Arie/ Arie's Dogland and have nothing but good things to say! Arie came to my home for a one on one with my dog who was removed from a hoarding situation. She was on time, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. Not only does she use reward based training, she takes time to ask the right questions (and plenty of them) about the dogs past, routine, goals, etc to create the best plan for them. In the 1+ hour spent with her, I feel like she really has an understanding of my dog and has created a plan for him moving forward. I am very excited to continue working with her to better the behavior and quality of life in my dogs. I also had an opportunity over a year ago to tour the facility and see what they are will about with their puppy classes, daycare, and grooming. I give them 10 out of 5 stars!

Arie is down to earth, personable, and practical with her training methods. I saw more progress with my high drive dog (Tally) in an hour and a half than I saw through multiple sessions at other dog training locations. I love that she gives private lessons at different locations including in the dog’s home. Good job Arie!

We really loved bringing our pup Koda to Arie's! Everyone there is super sweet and helpful, they really care about the dogs and take supervision seriously, and she had a blast every time we took her. It is unfortunately too far from our home to realistically take her multiple times per week, but if I had to recommend anyone looking for puppy daycare, I would highly encourage taking them to Arie's.

We LOVE everything about Arie's Dogland! If you have a dog, you should be there. Our boy loves his play group so much and he comes home completely worn out and happy - it's like Ambien for dogs but no drugs are involved - just playing, fun, and socialization.Arie is an amazing, super patient trainer and we trust her completely with our dog. Actually, we love and trust the entire staff there, and that's the best gift you can get. Knowing your dog is well-loved and treated with kindness means everything.Also, get on in there for grooming from Jade! Puppy class was amazing, and helped our dog socialize as needed. Playgroup is fantastic, as is grooming. We buy all our dog food and treats from here. All the dogs absolutely love it, and as we walk in the door in the morning and I am dragged in by all the puppy energy, there is no doubt that our dogs LOVE being at Aries. They are clearly cared for exceptionally well, and we’ve been going there for nearly 6 years. The long term clients are a testament to the quality of the staff, and this business.

I recently rescued a dog from the streets. He had some behavior issues. My vet recommended Arie. I contacted her to arrange for a session. She provided me with information ahead of time. Jamie and I were prepared for the session. She arrived promptly and ask thorough questions. She worked with Jamie and me. Arie provided ways to address the behavior, several suggestions on training exercises, and a lengthy list for homework. I am seeing improvement in Jamie’s behavior. I feel more confident in dealing appropriately with him when he is acting out. It was a great experience and I highly recommend her.

My dog has benefited enormously from socializing with other dogs at Arie’s Dogland. My dog is not fearful or aggressive towards other dogs. Even when another dog is aggressive towards her; she just walks away. All of the staff are excellent! Arie’s puppy class has helped me to become a better dog trainer and enhanced my bond with my dog. He has been to play groups for socializing for the past year and gets adorable report cards whenever we pick him up. JADE is an excellent groomer and really patient with younger dogs. Boba loves her so much! For holidays that have really fun photoshoots for your pup as well!

When my therapist prescribed an emotional support animal and I ended up with a puppy, he was causing me more stress than he was relieving. Seriously, this guy is like a caffeinated monkey that's allergic to sleep. I even considered giving up and trying to find a better home for him; golden retriever puppies are insane, people.I ended up signing up for the puppy class because of all the good reviews and praise for Arie. Seven weeks later and here we are, and my boy Conan is well on his way to becoming the perfect little gentleman. And the class is way more than just teaching the pup how to sit and stay; it's a well rounded full course on puppies and socializing, food, outings, everything and more. The structure of the class was what we both needed, and through the class I was finally convinced to try playgroup. Conan adjusted well to being away from home (in fact I'm pretty sure he enjoys being there MORE than at home), and made plenty of friends along the way. He's pretty wild, but the staff are able to handle his energy and adjust accordingly where he is on what day. Rather than being with all the puppies, they moved him into Central Park with all the bigguns, and he had a place to get his energy out. And of course, I could rest easy knowing he wouldn't accidentally step on a smaller dog.I've never had to come in and say "I'm here for Conan" because they know me and my wild child. What everyone here says is true, the staff is professional and VERY friendly and I love sharing a laugh or story with them when I go to drop him off or pick him up. And as everyone says, Arie herself is amazing and professional and approachable and just downright cool.If you're on the fence about this place, get back on the ground and try it. You will not be disappointed.

Our two year old Havanese, Dizzy Gillespie, LOVES going to Tiny Town at Arie's. He starts whining in the car as we turn into the parking lot and is barking to get out as we park. We began taking him there in October 2022 when we returned to Albuquerque. Having used other dog play businesses here and in Oregon, we were looking for a situation that was careful to screen for health and temperament. Aries is outstanding at making sure the dogs are all up to date on health checks and spend time introducing the dog to the group to make sure there is a good fit. Staff know all the dogs and give us an update on his day when we pick him up. He also gets a written report on Fridays. Dizzy is everyone's playground friend and this is his favorite playground hands down.

Arie is a phenomenal dog trainer! We have had two sessions with her for our 1 year old re-homed GSD and all the tips, tricks, and advice she gave has been so helpful. She helped us to see the potential in our new family member and put a lot of concerns at ease by suggesting things we had not though of. Arie takes the time to get know you, your pet, and your situation to great detail. He reward based training regimen is exactly what we were looking for.
