Nice big dog park but waste bags are just donated plastic grocery bags stored in mailboxes, so best if you bring your own. Also, although we didn’t see any, notice the sign about poisonous snakes and insects!Dog-friendliness: It’s a dog park

Nice lil' park with lots of toys and training obstacles. Two sections (not specified as large/small). Both of small size but well maintained. Each section has a double gated entry. Garbage, poop bags, and info signs at entry. Mostly grassy area with some dirt/worn down spots that likely get muddy with rain.Fresh water pump and faucet on site in both sections. Some small trees and pavilions for shade. Many benches around.Solar lighting in some areas! (Awesome)Wheelchair accessible too!

Love this park a lot!! Never had an issue with fleas or unpleasantries. Nice sociable people but never overcrowded!! Big dogs are not separated from little dogs.

Pleanty of room to run and play the dogs were fairly friendly.Like most parks, theres a group of regulars that stand and dont tend their dogs so be vigilant if you stop here.Theres water bowls available, not sure who fills them. They use old shopping bags for dog poop baggies and dispensers are all around the park.Theres a smaller park for small dogs too.Playground: No playground for children, only doggos.Restrooms: A port a potty is on site.Dog-friendliness: Bring the doggos!Picnic area: No picnic area.

Nice large area for dogs to play and run off leash. Many people are there 2x daily everyday. They look out for newcomers & make you feel welcome. Be sure to pick up your dog's mess. They do get fussy about that.

On the way through town my boyfriend and I stopped to let the dogs stretch their legs. Two large fenced areas with water access, some shade, and lots of doggy enrichment areas.

We come often. Always great dogs and people. Well kept clean park with a lot to do. Good water available. Some shady resting places for dogs and people.

Good dog park. The only thing is people don't pickup all the time after their dogs.

Wish there were more toys for them to play on and maybe a doggy pool

Nice park with lots of space for the dogs to run and play, water fountains and bowls available as well as benches for the humans. The only con really is even though poop bags and hand sanitizer plus trash cans are plentiful people still don't pick up after their dogs. I'm not sure if the city cleans the park or when. It's still a great place for dogs and their owners to socialize. My dog loves the place and goes bananas if we drive past and don't stop, it's his playground and he knows it.

A friend of ours was in town for the holidays. We decided to bring her and her dog to bark park to play for a bit. We had never been to this park, but had heard good things from some of our friends. We arrived and found plenty of parking (albeit with some rather deep potholes scattered about). Our friend got a head start as we were getting our baby girl out of the car seat. Unfortunate, we had no sooner removed the baby, when there was an incident. Within 3 minutes of entering the park, our friend noticed that another guest was being negligent and allowing her seemingly rabid and hostile dog to race around the park unsupervised, attacking the other dogs who were trying to enjoy the park. My friend's dog was attacked within minutes and is now missing a piece of her ear. As we were tending to her bleeding face, the owner of the vicious dog seemed unaffected and unconcerned that her dog had ripped my friends dog apart and was currently continuing to harass the other dogs in the park. Not really sure what can be done, as it seems like a "play at your own risk" scenario. It was an unfortunate and deeply regrettable first (and last) visit to this park. While I hope that our visit was a fluke experience, I thought it worth sharing so that future visitors might better prepared for the sorts of animals who attend this park; both human and canine.

Great park, well taken care of, water, toys, and most all owners that I've seen take care of cleaning up after their pets. The only issue I've run into is an owner of two dogs bit my dog on the ear. I told her if dogs bite they shouldn't come to the dog park. I should have called the police and had her banned but I didn't. If your dogs can't handle being at the dog park with large groups of dogs you shouldn't bring them or keep them sperate. But otherwise we've always enjoyed this park.

We love bringing our dog here. The double gates help keep pretty from running out, and there is convenient water available everywhere. There's even separate gated areas for dogs in heat, or to keep larger dogs away from smaller ones.

Be careful some of the dogs are not friendly none of the rules are followed and there’s nobody to regulate the park Enter at your own risk

A place to let the dogs run with a little room. I only gave three stars as there are a few problems. First is there is dog poop all over. I guess people get to visiting each other and not watching their pets. Second is the lack of improvement of the years. Seems a asphalt parking lot was more important than actual amenities. Also would be nice for grass rather than weeds. Not putting the place down, just being honest.

It is so great to have a place to take your dog to run and socialize with other dogs. The dogs there were friendly. My dogs enjoyed themselves. Fully fenced but water is off for the winter so bring some of your own.

People and dogs are always on best behavior when I go here. Very low-key folks have helped me with my shelter dogs, who often come in with issues. There is even a "not OK corral if someone needs a time out!

One of our favourite dog parks. This park has two sections, and a few agility exercises.

The dogs and owners are so friendly. There's always plenty of toys and water bowls for your pup to have a safe and fun experience. The dogs love to play ball, tug of war, and with frisbees as well as the tractor tires and the teetortottor

Dog HeavenWell maybe not quite, but most dogs sure get excited to come back again. Quite a large area that can be divided into two sections. There are some dog tires, tunnels, and teeter totters that none of the dogs use. Plenty of grass and a few trees for the dogs to frolic in. There six shelter areas with benches and covers, two water fountains, and plenty of bags and trash cans to be able to throw away your pets waste.

Our pups loved this park! Ample space and parking. All the dogs were very well-mannered and owners were attentive. Would go back if ever in the area again.

This dog park was a real hidden gem. Fenced, grassy (well mostly grassy for the desert) and lots of local dogs during the day. Friendly people. A great place for our dog to run and play before we went to White Sands.

This park usually always has someone there with their dog. There's tons of people with their dogs on week nights and even more on the weekends. Pet owners were seemingly responsible. There isn't a separate area for small dogs. There is a gate for separation at the far end but it typically isn't closed unless there was a dog fight earlier. BUT feel free to close it upon arrival of you'd like some privacy. The park seems to have many small cliques but everyone is friendly enough.Bags, garbages, and hand sanitizer are provided for use there.

Nice wide open park, but people don't watch their dogs. My puppy was on a leash and got jumped on several times by someone's huge dog who was out of control. The owner didn't even care when I had to drag the dog away from us. It was pretty disappointing.

Drove threw Alamogordo and needed to stop and let the dogs run, such a beautiful and well kept dog park but was shocked when we were done, my long haired dog had a bunch of seeds stuck to him all over, it made his fur very tangled and took about an hour to brush it all out. Would love to come back, but really hope those seeds are taken care of. :)

We needed a place to let the pups train, and play. It was perfect. No one around so we did some off leash training. They are mot used to the strong winds but we managed. We will return
