A few months ago I started using Petco East Windsor grooming. I want to from the roof tops how Awesome they are. Over the last 4 years I tried 4 different groomers for my Aussiedoodle and Standard poodle ! Glenn and Alyssa actually groom them but every person in there greets me and my dogs with love and excitement!Hands down the best !

I cannot say enough good things about Olivia and my dog, Meadow’s grooming experiences with her. She has cut her nails twice and now groomed her. Meadow is a large breed and good, but can be a lot of dog just by looking at her.Olivia is wonderful was Meadow, not only she is was Petco wants as an employee or groomer is knowledgeable. But Olivia takes that extra step of caring. She took her time with me at both occasions, a check in and out never rushed to talk about the grooming experience or to make sure i had all proper documentation.Olivia made sure I left with the information to join for Petco grooming and to make sure to login, which I have not because at the register they did not give me a receipt (my fault). Meadow and I cannot say enough good things about Olivia and Petco East Windsor grooming. Thank you, Olivia for being excellent!

I scheduled an appt for a bath and nail care for my dog. My dog is not a huge fan of her baths appointments and usually only likes Petco for new toys and treats. However, Alyssa did an amazing job 💕

We Brought our puppy in for his first grooming. Olivia was warm kind and very knowledgeable and guided us through our anxiety. She was very loving to our puppy, and did a great job, even though his fur was very matted. We received many compliments from our dog owner friends. We will definitely be going back to see Olivia.

I hope the ferrets all find a good home and get out of this store soon because the staff doesn't seem to want to care for them. They seemed all neglected. Food bowls were not filled and placed inside. And there were piles of poop in there. It attracted a lot of flies to go inside.

This is only on the grooming. The store itself gets 4 stars.Hannah completely shaved my dog down and my dog looks hideous. She didn’t leave eyelashes, brows (short of like Madonna) or a tail.The only reason a dog should be shaved like that is if they were matted.I have spoken to several people who had similar experiences. I believe SOME of their groomers just don’t have the experience to be “groomers” yet.I’m sure some groomers their are good. Olivia is very sweet and we liked her grooms but we would never go back to that location again for grooming.They have an ok selection of store items. It’s fine for shopping but like Pawsatively Pets better for food and Head to Tail for grooming.

Awful care for the animals in their store. Was in there for five seconds and had to leave immediately after seeing these poor leopard geckos with stuck shed all over them. I understand that "corporate" gives specific guidelines on caring for these reptiles that are already poor in practice such as the use of reptile carpet and not using hides properly. That being said, it is up to the employees of the store to give the best care to these animals despite the restrictions they are given. This is so sad to see and needs to be addressed immediately. Will be shopping at a different pet store around the area from now on.

The groomers…knew they didn’t cut my dogs nails and before I left…one of the workers said that my dogs nails were too long….they also failed to reduce the price because of this.Today 3/26/24..I spoke with the manager and she hung up the phone while I was speaking..they do not address the issue and problem..like their response says.. called the corporate office and asked for my money and tipped money back..

I used petcos product in my fish tank I have had for a year now. within 30 minutes it killed every fish in my tank. The manager of the store has not provided any solution other than a refund for the product and takes days to respond. The one time I spoke with there over the phone she was rude and told me to send an email. she never responded and when I escalated the situation she tried to say she responded the same day but she did not. This store fails to taste ownership in their products and will not help you after they took your money. Do not shop here.

We took our dog for grooming, they did not do it properly , they did not do the trimming to the tail, when we asked to tell about this to fix it , they were very rude and said they will not provide the service again.The store manager was very rude ,Will not recommend this place to any pets .

I recently had a grooming experience at Petco that left me quite dissatisfied. Despite requesting a trim with a blade length of 2 for my 10-pound dog, they shaved him down to a zero, not only did they shave him to a zero in the winter time but they left his hair uneven. To add to the frustration, the initial quote of $88 ended up being $120, and the explanation provided was unclear. Also the service there was terrible there were rude to me for no reason and all I did was ask questions. Personally I will nor be bringing my dog back to this grooming service.

Had a Vetco appt for shots and they canceled the morning. The 2 young girls coving the dept had "don't bother me" attitudes and just kept repeating "you need to reschedule online" regardless of the questions I asked.Aside from that, it was a typical Petco.

Very clean and well organized store with extremely helpful associates. The animals for sale were in appropriate sized habitats that were clean and decorated with the appropriate ornaments for each type of animal. Good selection of foods, and treats, and other items for all sorts of pets. Prices are very reasonable. I will definitely be visiting again and making this my regular pet store.

They need more help. There were parts of the place that seemed as though they stopped using. Such as the dog training and adoption area. Very few birds or pets in general.

Don't even deserve 1 star. I went to get an African cichlids and a lady in that store asked how big is your gallon and when I said 60 gallon she said it require 100 gallon for one chihilds which her manager supported her decision to not sell that fish to me. 55 gallon tank can support up to 15 cichlids which they can google but I told her that I will write this review and the manager said no problem go ahead. Also I found the prices are highly pumped up compare their own website if you show the website price they will reduce the price and give it to you. I will never go back to this store again

My wife was given a price to groom my dog by weight. She informed lady on phone the dog was 84lbs she was told it would be $89. When she gets there she was told the price was $120. My wife asked why the price hike. She was told 84lbs is extra large and it was $120 My wife told her they told over the phone it was $89 for a 84lb dog. The grooming manager said "If you don't want to pay $120 you can take your dog and leave. They were arguing the dog got nervous and pooped in the crate and they told her they couldn't clean the dog not even for $120 that the dog was to nervous and she had to leave. So she took the diarrhea covered dog of in our new Audi Q5 home and washed her herself. I'm canceling my home delivery and never shopping there again.

Brought my dog for immunizations. My appointment was cancelled but luckily the staff still took me. They are great with all pets coming in. I would return if I needed to.FYI - K9 Influenza is in a shortage and they don’t have it. Call and ask before you go.Store is clean and parking is sufficient.

You don't carry any of the cat food I need, the container for my Nature's miracle litter box, and the filters for my cat's water fountain. I will order from Chewy. Your cashier was very pleasant

I bring my pet for routine immunization and the service is good. Sometimes the wait is a bit insane early in the morning because they triple book one appointment (maybe even more than that). The veterinarian is pleasant along with whomever is assisting and I never feel rushed. The establishment is also clean and presentable.

Your staff performances were pleasant...I was very surpried, however, at the refusal for help in my request to start a large new aquarium. I asked for some dirty media frim filters. I immediately offered to pay for new media: cotton, carbon or sponge filters so that I could jumpstart my as yet not cycled aquarium. I was not asking for anything free, I offered to pay for new, clean media for the store as a 'swap' for their dirty media so I could 'seed' my aquarium. My request was refused. I asked if I could please pay for dirty, filthy plastic decoraitons in their tanks, just a few pieces, for which I would GLADLY pay for and they could replace then with fine, new, colorful decorations which would clearly impress other customers. Again, I was flatly refused. I have worked as an operaitons director overseeing large customer stafss in NYC, North Jersey and Atlantic City. Unless a custoner's request for service or items was way over the top, I always instructed my teams to keep that customer so as to make them happy, thus, engendering repeat business, thus continuing to increase the 'bottom line'. Given that I was asking for, and willing to pay...for dirty, filthy media, and was refused, well that makes me think a little harder once I get my very large aquariums up and running as well as sharing this amazing episode with 5 of my friends, some of whom have asked that I set up large marine aquariums for them.You asked for my resoponse, there oyu have it. I would not even rate my experience at your store and I will very likely think about going elsewhere and online to purchase fish and equipment for myself and friends.Good day.

Just got nails trimmed of my lab by a so called professional groomer at Petco in East Windsor, NJ. She didn’t even touch the rear paws saying they are very short. The job that she did on the first paws is terrible. Including the pictures with this review for you to decide the quality by yourself. You can easily see the uneven cuts that left my dogs nails broken.
