Argos has adapted to and loves his time at best friends pet hotel. He is a naturally happy dog and when I am dropping him off and picking him up, he is absolutely thrilled to spend time there. I feel as though they care about him personally, and that matters very much. Alexis and Karen stand out it's very good caregivers and he clearly likes them very much.

I used to work here so I knew the standard was high. When I got my baby boy Bouie I knew I had to take him here!! They treat him so well and he loves to be in doggy day camp! Love the work everyone does— shout out to Melissa!

What a wonderful place, my girls have a great experience every time I board them at Best Friends Pet Hotel. Everyone is kind and treat my girls as their own. I also love having the opportunity to watch them play on the petcam. My girls are excited when they arrive, they get so much exercise running around with all of the other fur babies all week they end up coming home and sleep all day long. Thanks to everyone at Best Friends for taking such good care of Chloe and Zoë!

I hope this review will reach Cheryl who groomed my three year old rough collie Appa during a boarding stay. I have been very sick in the last three months which has made it difficult for me to thoroughly brush Appa's coat. As a result, her coat has suffered and I have struggled to work through the matting on my own. I am so grateful to Cheryl for taking the time to help get Appa's coat back in shape. She looks great and I'm sure feels much better. We can't give thanks enough! Also big thanks to all the other staff members, including Alex, who always take care of Appa.

We’ve been taking our dogs to Best Friends for grooming over 10 years. The staff is very friendly. Our dogs look forward to seeing Cheryl. They always look & smell amazing once she works her magic. We just had our golden groomed for Xmas and she came home smelling like cinnamon . I highly recommend!

I've been leaving my dog for boarding and grooming with Best Friends in Windsor for several years. The staff is great. They handle him really well, as he can be wild at times. They are friendly and accommodating. My dog is always happy to enter when we arrive and looks great when we pick him up. I've stayed at other places before finding best friends and was never happy enough to go back for a second visit. Since being with Best Friends, I've never had to find another place to go. It takes me 20 minutes to get there and there are plenty of places closer to home, but they have always treated my dog and myself well so it's worth the drive.

My corgi has gone to this location for daycare in the past - my schedule no longer allows this unfortunately :( - and we have boarded her while on vacation before. We also have a mini poodle who gets groomed here. You can tell that the owner Stephanie has a heart for animals and truly loves and cares for all who come through her doors. The staff are all friendly and helpful, and also seem to love the animals as well. I LOVE that they have daycare cameras so you can watch all the doggos during the day - SO CUTE. I also love that they take individual photos for all holidays and have parties for the dogs. When we boarded our corgi during vacation, they texted us updates and pictures every day. When we picked her up she seemed happy and healthy. When we get the mini poodle groomed they remember what we usually get done for him and double check with us to see if that's still what we want. He comes home smelling and looking fresh, often with a cute little bandana. There are other places in the area that are slightly cheaper but overall I I feel their pricing is still fair, and I love the services they offer. Definitely recommend this place, especially for the doggie daycare!

Our dog Scout had a great time being boarded at Best Friends. We were nervous because he is kind of a picky dog and we have only ever had close friends watch him in our home when we went away. He had a blast at Best Friends! He was so excited to get there and was exhausted from all the playing he did when he got home! We would recommend Best Friends to anyone! We also loved the pictures we received of Scout while we were away! Thank you so much for taking such great care of our boy!

We have used Best Friends for over 12 years. We groomed, as well as boarded, our Kobey there. We now live an hour from BF, but still make the trip to board our Sammy. Everyone who works there truly loves dogs. I always look forward to receiving the pics they take of Sammy.We trust Best Friends and highly recommend

Very nice staff. A fun place to stay for Milo. Not to expensive. I like that he can be groomed on site. I am confident that he is treated kindly and his little needs are being met. I recommend this place. A great place to stay for your fur baby.

Great, caring staff!!! This was the first kennel stay for our 2yo mini doodle, Maple. She's a shy, timid, and sensitive (and extremely spoiled!) dog--so we were worried and concerned about how she might do. The staff really cared for her and knew her well despite a busy Labor day weekend with a lot of dogs. They were happy to provide a thorough update when we called to check on her--and we loved watching her play during the daily group sessions with the pet cams. We recommend Best Friends and will be sending her back again shortly on our next trip. We also appreciate that all dogs must be vaccinated.

I've been using this place before it was acquired by Best Friends and I have to say all my dogs have loved it there. My Basenji makes her happy sound whenever we make the turn for the driveway. The staff really get to know the particular quirks of each dog (and owner!). They make sure the older dogs get special attention and quiet time when needed while they manage to keep the younger set totally engaged in fun filled activities. Great place to send you dog for a day of fun for them or a respite for you!2023 update: My Basenji girl is mellow and laid back but she gets quite excited when I turn into the driveway. Mellow Olly still loves all the parties and activities. But I think she loves the cuddles and pets from the wonderful staff who are friendly, and knowledgeable. They have very good pick up and drop off hours It's also a great place to board.

Asked them how much it would cost to take in our birds for a week. They said $20/night. I thought hey that’s not so bad. Turns out it was $20 per bird lol. Charging $80/night for 4 little finches in one cage? Ridiculous! I might as well put ‘em up in the Motel 6 😂

We have sent our boy Thor to BF for doggy day camp on and off for the last year or so. This January he did his first sleep over for 6 nights. I was so nervous leaving him, though Stephanie and Team put my nervous to rest quickly and were absolutely Amazing with him! Thor had the best time, So much love was shown to him, Highly recommend

I love this place which was recommended by my son and his wife. They are always very satisfied with the care and service Best Fried offer to their two dogs and cat. I took my small dog for grooming an was very happy with the service and care they offer. The Staff is also wonderful.

I've been with Best Friends for several years and love the attention they give my dog. I'll never forget the first time - I was so worried about her that the staff said I could call any time to check on her and I did - like ever other day but they were cool. Since I own a smaller dog she gets indivudual play time and loves being cuddled. I also enjoy the e-mails with pictures they send - makes me feel good that they take time to care

People working there really like and take great care of the dogs. The webcam allows you to watch your dog over the web during playtime. It's great to see your puppy having fun and wagging its tail! Really helps to put your mind at ease when you're traveling.

Best Friends (formerly Kaufmanns) has the best grooming services in this area. I've used their services on a number of different breeds over the years and the results have always been superb. The grooming staff, especially Shirl and Barb....have terrific grooming skills; they give consistently meticulous haircuts (I have had several newfoundlands in for bathing and grooming) with beautiful results every time. Because the environment is so pet-friendly and the staff so wonderful with the dogs, there is minimal stress on the dogs. I would not trust anyone else to provide grooming for my guys.

Almost two years ago, we lost our fifteen year old Chow, Crabby, then two weeks later, our family moved to a smaller home. These events left our two year old Chow, Biscuit, who only knew life with Crabby, devastated and as a result he developed separation anxiety. My wife and I needed to find a solution quickly so that we would worry about Biscuit when we went to work. Biscuit's best playmate, Nigel, went to Best Friends Pet Care, and loved it. If Nigel enjoyed Best Friends, why not Biscuit. Well, two years later, Biscuit still goes to Best Friends for Doggie Day Care and loves it. The entire staff is so courteous and they treat each dog as if it was their own. We love Best Friends so much that now we bring our six month Chow, Merlot, there too!!

Our Dalmation/Pointer mix, Chip, has been going to Best Friends for 12 years and he nearly rips my arm off trying to get in when we go. The staff knows him by name and he gets lots of attention from them, including the grooming staff. Everyone is super friendly.
