Many people have been telling me about Gaiss' homemade sausage, so I decided to give them a try. I used the meat with a marinara sauce and it was taken to a whole other level. So yes, I would def recommend this market for there homemade stuff.

My first and last time ordering sandwiches. I ordered the chicken cheese steak, hardly any meat and the chicken was hard and dry. I guess ordering around 4 I got what was left. I only ate half the sandwich and threw the rest away. Unfortunately I will not order from here again. They definitely need to do better.

1st time there today, staff was very nice & helpful !I bought a few produce items & their award winning homemade hotdogs, haven’t tried yet .I also ordered a cheese steak made from fresh steak meat , delicious!!I will return & definitely recommend Gaiass market .

all around great place! been coming here since i was a kid. the deli workers are very kind and helpful! the meats are always fresh. they have great deals, also. Its a far drive for me. but it's worth the drive for sure!

My go to when I forgot to buy food for breakfast. I love their own made pork roll. Meats are great. They have everything you need when you don’t feel like going to the big grocery store. Friendly people and lots of options. I also like their potato salad and coleslaw.

I recently stopped in to pick up just over 3 pounds of filets for a Christmas party. Each portion was super tender and enjoyed by all! In addition, everything was nicely packaged in butcher paper. Strongly recommended!

I got an Italian hoagie, tasted very good.French fries cooked to perfection and so hot they were still warm by the time I got home.And potatoes salad with a good flavor and potatoes we’re actually cooked well, I hate hard potatoes they taste raw to me. I’ll definitely be back. 😊

Great food, great quality and great staff, BUT...ALWAYS OUT OF ROLLS! IT IS TRULY ASTOUNDING TO ME HOW OFTEN I cannot get a sandwich because they are simply out of rolls! No kidding. This has happened to me three times in one month! They seriously need to order more rolls at this business, they are losing money over a 60 cent roll. It's hit or miss, at best.

Wow great meats. We went in for their homemade hotdogs but they were out of them. I got ground beef, OMG AMAZING. Very good ground Italian sausage pictured (stuffed Jersey peppers), kielbasi, bacon & cheddar griller sausages & smoked pork chops. Also bought a homemade crumb cake from a local baker from the the freezer section. The BEST crumb cake we've ever had. Will definitely be back often. I only support local businesses and I'm so glad I found this gem. Everything was amazing. Follow up- we've been back 3 times. Lifer now

This place has the best lunch meat in town. I have heard people rant and rave about this place and I just had to check it out for myself. They are a small corner store with a little bit of everything. Their house deli meats were all so delicious. They had a great assortment of sausages and SMOKED MEATS! We got a pair of smoked pork chops, kielbasa sausage, chicken salad, cheese cake and a smoked pig ear for the pooch. She agreed we will be back for one of everything! Thanks guys!!!!

Best little meat market and corner store around. Fresh cut meat, award winning kielbasa and awesome sandwiches. Friendly faces that’ll give a helping hand with finding anything. If you want good meat, look no further. You sure won’t find anything even comparable at any supermarket around here.

This is where to go to get steaks for the grill, deli etc when your in the Cape May area. I live here. In the Villas and usually get steaks from Gaiss's every couple months. They have only a small selection of in season, fresh produce. The price points represent the quality of their products and I wouldn't sell them for any less.

The meats and pretty much everything they sell are excellent. I ordered cheese steaks on a Friday night. The steak itself was excellent but I ordered 3 steak sandwiches and 2 of them were wrong. The owner promised to make it right on our next order which I think is excellent customer service but all in all they should be more careful with their order preparation!

I grew up in Philadelphia and this store reminds me of the corner stores I grew up with. You can not get better meats anywhere. They have a great selection of meat packages to choose from at very reasonable prices. They have a wide selection of their own products as well. I just moved back to the area after being away for ten years and I will not shop anywhere else.

From the outside I never looked twice at this place and I drive by it all the time. On a recommendation I stopped by to try their subs and found a meat counter with a great selection, lunch meats and other pork and beef meat selection. They also have homemade sausages, salads and a grocery section. So glad I stopped by. By the way the sub sandwich I order was awesome!

I've never been treated like this. And that's a good thing. I first walked in after reading the reviews. Wanted to get some meat for a nice long labor day weekend barbecue. My wife lives here in lower township her entire life. I'm new to the area.I mentioned that I've never been here and Crystal was her name?? Immediately gave me a tour of the entire store. Showed me all the coupons and deals. Showed me the sausages, meats, potato salads etc.. Honestly I felt like I was some elite guy getting a private tour somewhere. It's unbelievable. This level of service and high quality meats as an EXTREMELY REASONABLE price will have me as a customer for life.Crystal (sorry if I spelled it wrong) if you're reading this. Thank you. I don’t usually leave reviews but this is a must. I bought a t bone steak this week and have to say it was one of the most delicious cuts of meat I’ve ever had; beyond restaurant quality. As noted, the staff is very friendly and accommodating. This place cannot be missed.

They make a great sub. I tried their turkey and it was delicious. We bought some of their garlic sausage and OMG it was amazing! A little expensive but for a local store made sausage in NJ it's worth every penny.

The homemade chili is AMAZING!!! OMG!! So delicious!! So comforting!! I buy a bunch at a time and freeze it because I’m not down here all the time. Go get some immediately!!!

This place is amazing. I would definitely recommend it to anyone coming down to the shore and to anyone that is local. Great fresh meats, salads and customer service and if they don’t have what you are looking for they try their best to accommodate it in anyway possible.

Gaiss is a wonderful place, it was originally owned by my Aunt's Father, many years ago. Now it's like stepping back in time, it still looks the same as it did 60 years ago. Friendly atmosphere, great prices, excellent deli
