I feel bad for you guys. Very friendly staff, very good food, excellent customer service. The thing holding you back is your hours (as of recent). I want you guys to do well. Your prices are fair and you are a local family-owned small business. I know I'm not in the position to tell you how to run your business but in my opinion you guys are losing out big-time by cutting your hours back. If you go back to opening at 6 and staying open until 7, you will capture a lot of the suburban commuters who are looking for a convenient spot to stop off and grab stuff for convenience. Closing at 5 on weekdays is really killing you.

I cannot get enough of this market! Their prices are great for produce and prepared food, not to mention delicious!!! The staff is so friendly and their chefs are so talented. Everything we have had so far was great. I recommend this place to everyone. Fast, convenient, delicious!

A great small, family-run business! The Village Market is a great addition to the Towaco / Montville community. The owner and employees are friendly and welcoming and go out of their way to serve customers.The market has a wide variety of prepared foods, grab and go and deli. Of course, they are also well stocked with produce, dairy and other grocery items. Prices are very reasonable, and it’s so convenient to be able to pop in for a couple items versus a trip to the supermarket.

What a great new market for many of your grocery needs. Boar's Head deli meats, delicious generous sandwiches and hot/cold prepared food sold by weight. A good variety of produce. Friendly helpful staff that listen! My ham/capicola provolone grinder was skillfully constructed and satisfying. I'll be back again and again.

They have a great deli and hot prepared food. It's a good place to stop by and grab a few fruits and other foods. I especially like the cold/prepared food they have there like the pot pies and the empanadas so I recommend those.

Neighborhood GEM!! Great deli, produce, and meats. Everyone who works there is nice and very helpfull. This is a great breakfast or lunch option. Fantastic catering and supermarket alternative.

A PICTURE SPEAKS A THOUSAND WORDS. SEE THIS MOLDY GARLIC BREAD I PURCHASED.This looks like a pre covid era item.Update: 19th August 2020. Met the owner Marty, and who saw this and sincerely apologized and we also discovered more moldy bread and he removed all of the garlick break and gave me a $10 gift card to come and buy anytime.In Hindsight, since many places have been closed and gone thru weather cycles, mold might be lurking in places and coming out and spreading now. So the owner gotta investigate the source of mold and eliminate them before it gets worse.3 Star Upgrade.
