Our toy poodle, Max, was groomed at Toms River Petco. This was his first time there. The groomer, Kristen, was very knowledgeable and friendly. She managed to get Max’s nails nice and short, something not achieved at Petco in Brick.

Been going here for 6 years with my dog. Never had any issues. Casandra was great very caring and listened to my needs. Just recently my dog got groomed and came home with fleas. I complained to management and he didn’t care. I spoke with the groomer and she seemed annoyed about my complaint and stated all areas are sanitized after each grooming. I wasn’t ready to give up on going there but after speaking to groomer she canceled my next grooming appointment without me asking to cancel it. Sounds like guilt to me.I do NOT blame Casandra another groomer started my dog and they are to blame. Guess I need to find another groomer.They handled this situation poorly

We have a mobile groomer that we love but out Mini Bernese, Jaxson needs his nails trimmed in between baths. Petco is our go to place! They are fast and do a great job and treat our baby with the utmost care. Jaxson loves it because he always gets to go shopping for a toy if he's a good boy!

The team at the Toms River location is simply wonderful. They are so incredibly kind with my Archer and its one of the few places that I feel comfortable leaving him at. The staff understands that each pet is different and they treat my puppy just like I do. You are lucky to have such a wonderful group!

The groomer there we have had for several years and Megan not only listens to what we want from the grooming but she is so good to our little guy. She did the best cut ever he got from her yesterday. Petco gets you the time you need on the day you need and the price is amazing .

I find the cost of the grooming service very reasonable, however I was slightly disappointed in the hair cut in that there were several puffs of fur all over left untrimmed and his face was longer on one side then the other. THE STAFF was sweet and comforting to my very nervous dog and his equally nervous Mom.

Do not get your dog groomed here!!! I've never seen such a careless job done. They shaved my dog down to his skin and left him red and irritated in certain areas. The whole cut was so uneven and abruptly stopped at his legs and head. It's like their eyes were closed. The worst grooming I've ever seen it's infuriating that this will take months to grow back. My poor pup. Corporate is now investigating the situation. Please save your dog and go to a local professional instead.
