They are amazing! We used to never be able to get our one dog’s nails cut because she’s very anxious. The vet could never unless they knocked her out (very scary to witness tbh, and you’re always afraid something will go wrong). But not these Ladies at Barones. Sue cut her nails just fine when we took her to get groomed - said she just did it while she was in the tub. And then today Kim was also able to swiftly get her nails cut; she didn’t use the tub like Sue, just had us hold her and went quickly while cutting (not so fast as to make her bleed either) and gave my dog any pauses she needed to calm down. Got through her nails in like 10 minutes!They’re good, seriously.Their grooming is also excellent, both dogs come back clean, soft, and fluffy.Thank you again Ladies!

I went in today 4/6/2024 at 11:30am and while waiting in the main area for my dog to get her nails trimmed, I heard the groomer rudely yelling at the dog she was grooming to "Stop!" Saying "can you stop moving?!" And " Stop! You move too much!" I honestly couldn't believe how rude and aggressive she sounded with the dog. I left without getting my dogs nails trimmed. I could never and would NEVER let that woman near my dog. As I left I heard the dog whimper. I feel so bad for that dog and it's owners. I will never go back! I wish I caught the groomers name.

The store is good but the groomer is terrible. The first time I went to get my dog groomed, she was yelling at a dog that she was grooming at the time. She turned around and said oh I didn't know you were there so I said I bet you didn't. That was a huge turn off but I decided to get my dog groomed. I have a schnauzer which is a hard dog to groom because of their hairstyle, I know this. I didn't like the way she groomed her. As a matter of fact, it looked like my dog needed a haircut after a week. She didn't trim her ears and her legs were all different lengths. I know my dog is somewhat difficult so I decided to give her another chance which was the same as the first time. I don't know. She's inexperienced or just doesn't know how to groom schnauzers. Between her attitude and grooming skills, I decided to never go back. So every 6 weeks I decided to drive 2 hours to North Jersey where I used to live to get my dog groomed.

Update: November 17th 2022I was so impressed with how gently Kim trimmed Thor's nails, I returned to have Kim give Thor a moisturizing bath and trim his nails. Kim did not disappoint in her professionalism, skill, but most of all her ability to put Thor at ease at his first grooming experience.. When you come to Baron's for grooming, ask for Kim. She's an angel come to earth just for your pets.ORIGINAL REVIEW :Small but excellent customer service. I brought my puppy, Thor, in to have his nails trimmed. The groomer was very gentle and treated Thor as if he was her own.

My Tiana has never been to a groomer before. My husband and I would do it. Do to him passing away I brought my Tiana to Barone’s. They treated her so great I couldn’t be more happier. They took there time with her and she has another appointment in January. I would highly recommend them and you will be happy you brought your fur baby there. I was googling pet supply stores in the area and saw that this was the closet one to my home. I took the drive with my three kids and my 3 month old pit bull mix puppy Kapone. The owner and her daughter were amazing ! Super helpful. Gave me tips on helping me handle the dog better and was so welcoming ! Amazed. I will def be using them as my new pet store from now on. We need more good people like this family in the world. ❤️

We were in a cute little cottage. #26 it was adorable, clean everything you needed dishes, napkins, towels wash clothes in the shower there was a dispenser with soap shampoo and conditioner for your hair. The only thing that I could suggest is to get a regular coffee maker because the little thing makes applied was very difficult to use and some people don't like the different flavored coffees I happen to like regular coffee but I'm not complaining I'm just saying that a regular little drip pot would be better. Other than that we enjoyed ourselves very much It was lovely

Went there a little after they opened and then was waiting for someone at the register for 25 minutes! Turns out the only person that was there was the groomer. After waiting for her to finish, she comes out and says she does not know the register and that the owner, who usually does register, is running late. There should at least be a sign up saying the register is closed or something so no one else waste their time waiting like I did. In my opinion, very unprofessional.

Went there 3 weeks ago, the woman who normally does my dog was out with covid. My day does not tolerate the heat well so I decided to go anyway thinking all the groomers had the same qualifications. This is not the case, my dog's fur was completely shaved down to the point where you couldn't recognize what breed he is. Even his eyelashes were cut, not to mention the nick on his back leg. Unfortunately I paid prior to seeing what he looked like. Not only did I get over charged by $20.00, I requested a refund and was denied. Be ware of who is cutting your dogs fur and ask to see you dog BEFORE YOU PAY

We have a golden retriever that is a little lazy and doesn't like to stand when she gets her hair cut. But Susie is so patient and takes her time and gives our fur baby the best hair cut. The owner is so nice and you can tell they love what they do. I would recommend this business to anyone.

I just discovered this pet store today and I had the best experience ever! The owner is extremely pleasant, knowledgeable, and helpful! Her daughter was also very smart and helpful! Horrible horrible place do not ever bring your beloved pet here. First when I called to set up an appointment the guy that answered the phone was so rude and nasty, he made it seem like my dog and my business were not welcomed. Secondly they charged me $60.00 for half a groom, 6 clipped nails not to mention that 3 of those nails were bleeding upon arrival, and they said that everything was included and they only did half the face and the body was uneven. I mentioned this to the person at the front desk they told me they had to close and that I had to come back tomorrow if I wanted it fixed . This place is so bad that I’m probably going to have to go to petco even though there reviews aren’t not as good neither. DO NOT GO HERE!!!

this is a family-owned business and you can tell that they truly care about the well-being of the pets that come into their store. They've been in business a little over a year and they deserve recognition, if you live in the area I would definitely recommend checking this place out

While traveling to go to another big box store I decided to stop in at a dollar store that was nearby and in the shopping center I noticed the Barone's and I decided to stop in it was a very clean environment the people were friendly and not pushy I also inspected the grooming area and the groomer(Sue) was very polite and professional I would recommend this place for local needs of pets and their pet supplies are reasonably priced
