We left CVS for Fanwood Pharmacy almost 2 years ago because of their incompetence and rudeness. Unfortunately, my child got sick over the weekend and after Fanwood Pharmacys hours. We had the Rx sent to CVS and with no one in line - ignored, talked over, walked away from mid sentence, and talked about in front of. What caused this break down in common courtesy - waiting patiently and asking if our prescription was ready. When they didn't have it - we called the urgent care and had it resent. We came back about 15 min later and before they even looked in the computer said "You again, we don't have anything for you". Common courtesy isn't hard. Being polite doesn't require a tremendous amount of effort. I'm so incredibly happy I switched to Fanwood Pharmacy and will seek out another after hours pharmacy just to never deal with CVS again.

I’ve never been more let down by humanity than by the pharmacists at this CVS. In short, I get my meds from a pharmacy in Minnesota now because they are more reliable and consistent in getting me my medication on time than the CVS in my hometown. Go ANYWHERE but this place to fill your prescription.

Words can not express how disrespectful, rude and condescending the Store Manager Rasheed is. How does he continue to be employed by CVS it is a wonder? Not only does he refuse to assist you with basic questions he is a poor representation of what CVS stands for. He should be fired!! I suggest he find another job, since he is clearly so miserable. Save yourself the drama and go to another CVS.

Pharmacy needs effective management and professional staffing. Went to pick up a couple of prescriptions at 1:20 pm. The pharmacy line was closed for lunch. I can’t believe that CVS can’t schedule at least one person behind the counter at all times to take care of customer pick ups. I no longer care how close CVS is to my home. Walmart or Walgreens will get a new customer.

Hold times on phone are endless, trying to get prescriptions transfered is nearly impossible most days . the customer service is truly horrible as they put you on hold without even saying hello or telling you that you will wait on hold. This is a mass production like factory...if you want personalized great service , please visit Curex Pharmacy across the street...we would love to help you and fix any problems you may have.. we love our customers and love what we do as a world class pharmacy:))

For years I went to a different CVS Pharmacy, never had an issue. Moved to the area over a year ago, so we changed to the Scotch Plains CVS Pharmacy as it is convenient, but it has been the biggest nightmare. Lines were always out the door(has been curbed as of recent), they never "receive" the prescription that is sent electronically, have given me the wrong prescription (that I caught) for my infant daughter at the time, missed giving all the prescriptions as written on the RX, found other RX pills in the same container as the normal RX, phone is never answered...just to name a few of the issues. Not sure if it is a staffing issue or quality of staff, but given the sensitivity of the items handled I would say it needs to be addressed ASAP. With another issue added to the list today we will be making the switch to another CVS Pharmacy and taking the extra drive.

Today's visit at the Scotch Plains on Park Ave missed several marks. There was no line, I approached counter where team member Christian M. advised he could not assist me because he was awaiting a customer that was still shopping in the store. The self-service line had customers and one of the registers had an announcement advising "help was on the way". The customer returned apologizing for the delay and even asked if I wanted to go in front of him. I declined and waited my turn. My transaction involved loading money on a pre-paid card and there was a system error. Christian's response was "it's declining" and I asked if there was anyone else that could provide additional details. Christian advised that he was the store manager and no one else could assist me. During the conversation, another team member, Princess assisted me was able to provide detailed information that Christian never even offered. The disappointing interaction with Christian was the disinterested, lack of customer service involvement along with him advising he didn't feel comfortable providing me his full name. If Christian M. is representing CVS' mission statement of "helping people on their path to better health", we should steer clear of this location. Kudos to Princess who exuded a spirit of excellence and ensured I felt valued as a customer.

service is so bad… i wanna give it a zero, but that’s not possible, so i give you… a 1.i got my vaccine yesterday around 7:00 pm. i walked to the back and immediately got bad vibes from the young pharmacist. she was probably overwhelmed, but that doesn’t justify her attitude. i noticed that the woman was forceful and rushed when giving me my shot. with this, i saw that she hadn’t changed her gloves after working with a red syrup-like substance. failing to put my bandaid for my boo-boo on correctly, her fingers covered in red from the substance touched my bare skin.i’m not sure how the lady got hired, but her position needs to be revoked and she needs to go back to medical school.

If I could give this location 0 stars I would. I ran into cvs to quickly pick up some cough medicine for my cold. Apparently the self check out wouldn’t let me complete my order until a manager came over to approve it. I waited and waited and no one came. There were no customers in the store so it wasn’t like they were busy helping someone else. I finally had to track down an employee to finish my transaction. Why do I need to check myself out and find employees to do so? If cvs was wondering why they need to close so many stores… this is exactly why. Your customer service and support is TERRIBLE!!!! I will place my orders on Amazon moving forward and save myself the hassle of going into a store that doesn’t even appreciate its customers. I have to say all cvs stores are a huge disappointment the past few years and only getting worse

You can be the only person in line 4-5 people behind pharmacy counter will stare at you for 10 minutes before saying anything. I said hello and was completely ignored.

The pharmacist Kaur Karmjit is one of the most unprofessional pharmacist. I have ever spoken with regarding a prescription. When you ask for her name she began to yell and state she is not obligated to provide the information. I asked her if she was the pharmacist in charge and she replied yes. I asked why can't you provide your name if it posted in the pharmacy. She also yelled and hung up the phone with my mother. I feel bad for any person suffering from illness that has to deal with Kaur. Kaur is difficult for no reason because her name was printed on the prescription label. I think she did not want me to report her by name. But now I will be taking further action to report her to the board of pharmacy.

They have missed and messed up multiple prescriptions for my daughter despite my doctor sending in multiple calls and referrals. From people to answering the phones and to the pharmacy assistance it is truly an atrocity despite the business. Today was the last straw. I called the pharmacy and they stated I can hold or call back. I said I’ll hold them the lady followed it up by saying no you can’t hold and call back up at 10am. A few seconds later said they said to call at 10:15. Why even give me the option. If anyone needs anything done right don’t support this pharmacy. Even Gordon Ramsay can’t fix this place .

If I could give this CVS a 0 star rating I would. I filled a few prescriptions after being in the emergency room for 5 hours. They didn't return my insurance card to me AND they no longer had it in their possession when I went back for it.Update: I found out this is actually a HIPAA violation.

CVS called us multiple times to pick up the prescription.CVS is not our normal pharmacy for the following reason who needs a Disney-type snake just to pick up and pay for a prescription? With one pharmacist and one clerk we had to wait 15 minutes just to pick up a prescription. So I walked around the store- up and down every aisle while I waited. The prices are so high compared to any supermarket or Walmart or any other place I shop which is why I wouldn’t even think about shopping at CVS.

My fertility pharmacy transferred an order down from MA to this CVS as I needed my medication tonight, Saturday and there truck left Friday before it could get on. I called and the lady told me there pharmacist would call me back when it was ready (I’m coming from 30 minutes away). Never received a call, hence I missed a very important dose of medication for my pregnancy! Very unprofessional!

Pharmacy appears to be poorly run. Was told it would be ready for pick up in 1 hour. An hour later they said it may take 4 hours due to issue with prescription card. 4 hours later they said the numbers on the card were last year's. No numbers on card we handed them were good, it was the numbers in their computer that were wrong and needed updating as it was our first perscription with new card. My insurance tried to call them but gave up after 45 minutes on hold. I tried to call and give right numbers but never got through myself. Then called next day same card same numbers and it went right through. Chalk it up to incompetent workers. Not what I would expect from a pharmacy.

Store is a typical CVS with convenience items, but the pharmacy is absolutely the worst. They are always understaffed, and the staff who is there have basically just given up or don't really know what they're doing. And they move in slow motion, there's always a line at the pharmacy. And their phone refill ordering system is hit or miss.

I use to feel bad when i saw bad reviews because i know some of the employees and in the 20 yrs i had been going to CVS, i never had a problem, until now. Have been noticing things were getting bad ( and 2 of the longtime emplyees are gone). The lines and being on hold 30 minutes, happened a couple times.. i was in the hopital with pneumonia last week. hopital sent me home with prescriptions but i was still having a very difficult time. My doctor personally called in 3 other prescriptions that he wanted me to start right away..I didnt get them until 2 days later due to a mistake on there end ( and confirmed by store mgr. that they have been having alot of mistakes). My dr called them again because he was livid that my health was put in jeopardy by CVS. I, along with many other customers be changing pharmacies immediately. Just so unacceptable!

This place saying they are a pharmacy is like a kids lemonade stand calling themselves a 5 star restaurant. I’ve been here 3 times. Each time the lines were 15 people long at least, moved at about one person every 10 minutes and LITERALLY EVERY OTHER PERSON WAS TOLD “no prescription” and then sent off. I left the OR today at 11, the surgeon called in the scripts at 8 am. The pharmacists insisted (rudely) that he didn’t have them. Turns out they were in the voice Mail, with the rest of the people who were told “no prescription” scripts. Last time I was there they called and said my script was ready. When I got there they told me… wait for it… NO prescription. I played him the voice Mail and the dude just shrugged and said next. They should probably be shut down. Pathetic.

There is some shady business in this store ! I went in for a bottle of water (not a case just one single bottle) and the lady ringing me up told me my total was $13.59! I asked her one bottle of water is $13.59? She clscanned it again and she told me yes $13.59! One bottle of water is never 13 dollars not even at a concert ! So please tell me whose pricing here !! Because 13 dollars for one bottle of water that’s 2 dollars everywhere else is straight up robbery!!

Zero stars... This pharmacy has always been shaky but as of late it's in pure shambles. On top of the long lines & long wait times over the phone; they are also mishandling people's medications right and left. I called to have my scripts transferred to another CVS and after being on hold for 50 minutes, someone answered then hung up. This department needs a complete overhaul.

Service could so much be improved - on one occasion I was told I could not purchase items at the pharmaceutical center and needed to go to front of store. Today, a customer ahead of me had a full crate of items on pharmaceutical pick up line that took about 20 mins to ring up - who's running the show? There's no mgt in this store, always have to ring for a cashier at the front, shelves are rarely refilled, etc...the CVSs in NYC were great and well managed, this store is a clusterf--k.

This CVS messed up a prescription and would not help. We had to go to a different cvs for assistance. The pharmacist did not understand the issue was with the pharmacy and tried blaming the insurance instead. When trying to explain that we did not receive the correct amount of pills the pharmacist hung up and would not answer the phone . This place should be audited and closed down!

This Pharmacy is the WORST, no customer service whatsoever. If you can get your prescription somewhere else I would recommend you to do it. Save yourself the aggrevation of dealing with them.

Wish I could give this abomination that they call a pharmacy 0 stars. Incredibly understaffed, horrible communication, days upon days to fill an RX, no one ever picks up the phone, long line to pick up an RX. Save yourself the nightmare of this location and go to Fanwood Pharmacy.

Never have gone to the pharmacy here without an issue. Plus the same meds sell at Walgreens for far less expensive prices. All well and good if your insurance (as mine did last year) forces you to use CVS- but if you have a choice, steer clear. Also, there's a female pharmacist working at this CVS who's just plain nasty. Examples: when they ran out of flu shots, she offered no alternative (there'll be more coming in, let me call another CVS, nothing). When i mentioned an Rx they had at $95 was $72 at Walgreens, she was actually annoyed with me. That RX, btw, wasn't filled for 3 full weeks, which meant I entered into a new year when I no longer have prescription coverage due to the delay by CVS in filling. All in all, just a terrible pharmacy, except for the one nice woman who works at the register there.

Been waiting a week for a prescription, my doctors office called them multiple times to tell them it was urgent and the pharmacist never got back to them. I went there today and the pharmacy manager couldn’t care less about his job. Told me people always complain about everything and there’s nothing he can do. Totally useless. Switch over to Tiffany’s in Westfield like everyone says.

When you need to refill your prescriptions make sure you have enough to last you a week. The service is horrible!!! Also good luck trying to speak to someone on the phone . Waiting 25 minutes and nobody has picked up!

They are very cavalier about the use of mask policy. I saw one associate with nose outside the mask. I saw another coming out or store roI’m with mask in hand. I saw one customer had mask on with only top tied and bottom open with him talking on the phone loudly. No body is enforcing anything.Only time will tell if we can control this disease COVID -19, if no sincere efforts are made. Only Pharmacy people seem to be doing the right thing.

The day manager found something I left that made my day. Thanks!!! Also, they always remind me on prescriptions and it's one of my go too stops, especially with the $ savings coupons.
