I had an issue with a prescription that should’ve been on auto refill and both Pallav and Jessie were helpful in resolving the issue while I was at the store. After speaking with insurance I was able to get this refilled right in store without having to go home again after already trying to refill in the app/calling on the phone. Even while it was busy they were still able to provide great customer service and wanted to highlight them for their hard work!

Pharmacy staff are egregiously incompetent. The worst pharmacy experiences I've ever had. I've finally had enough and am transferring my prescriptions. This is your warning. If you actually want a prescription filled, do not go to cvs runnemede.

If I could give ZERO stars I would. This pharmacy is filled with incompetent and lazy employees who absolutely refuse to answer the phone or do their job without a fight. After waiting on hold while I was at work for over two hours I was picked up and hung up on. I called back again at 2:05 after their lunch break and proceeded to wait another hour before leaving work to drop in on them while still on hold. I was told they don’t have anyone to answer the phone yet counted four staff members. So the problem was that they didn’t have my sons epilepsy Rx in stock that he’s getting filled every 20 days because they also can’t be inconvenienced to open a second bottle and fulfill a full thirty days Rx like our previous CVS did. Because this medication is a scheduled drug it needed to be backed out of their system so we could pick it up at a different pharmacy that has it in stock, a literal 20 second task!!! I received eye rolls and back talk and attitude instead of an apology for the way we have been treated since switching to this particular CVS in the summer after moving nearby. I have never been on hold for less than 30 minutes waiting for someone to answer and have held for longer than two hours at a time. The absolute worst CVS pharmacy around the area.

Awful service in pharmacy. Over 45 min( and stil holding) wait time to confirm a prescription that was to have been filled this morning. Yes I can check on app, yes I can go to website to confirm but NO you cannot speak to pharmacy rep to confirm the CORRECT meds are completed. Son-in-law went in to pick up and they said it couldn’t be refilled but NO call to let us know, thank you very much. Doctor called in again to reorder and this is the second month in a row that we’ve had difficulty. Not to mention the twins meds were also switched., cannot believe how awful this pharmacy is yet it is the only one available to us with our insurance. Twin infants with medical issues and difficulty getting about in general, much less having to run back and forth. CVS needs to work better to improve their customer service and competence.

I called yesterday because I am in need of one of my medications that has to be filled with a pharmacist. I was on hold for an hour and had to hang up due to being busy. I called back today and have been on hold all morning. Terrible pharmacy!!!Finally had enough and called the front. A nice lady answered right away and said she would walk back there after transferring and would give the pharmacist my number to call me directly. At least someone knows how to do their job!

My family has been loyal customers for over 20 years. We knew the pharmacist and staff on first name basis - it was always so nice to chat with them while getting prescriptions. The past few years to the past few months we don’t know anyone in the pharmacy- it’s a revolving door. Service is poor, some employees are nice , but most are rude. I get it they hate their jobs and are understaffed- but come on this is getting ridiculous. I was on hold for over 1 hr to speak to the pharmacist only to be hung up on.

Pharmacy never answers phone and my 91yr old mother constantly has to drive therefore my 90 year old father! This store is the worst ever and I was told that th that the pharmacy has their own separate manager. I got the number associated with that particular store and I am reporting it to the headquarters at CVS.

Wish I could give 0 stars! It's 9:21 am & still no pharmacist! Pharmacy is closed! I need my prescription! Store said they are waiting for the pharmacist to come in. Unacceptable! This pharmacy has gone so downhill its pathetic. Thinking of transferring to another location.

As many have said as low as the score is it’s because you can’t give a zero that it’s even a two. Horrible pharmacy , lousy customer service. Lucky me my health insurance only lets me come here. It’s so bad thinking of just paying cash at Rite Aid in Barrington. That use to be our pharmacy.

Pharmacist was rude. They lost prescriptions. I was on hold for an hour waiting to talk to someone about a prescription. I went to a different pharmacy and they said they didn’t have the time to transfer my prescriptions, I had to get Dr. office to write all new prescriptions.

Went to pick-up my prescription and waited 20 minutes for the tech to enter my new insurance information( she was inputting it incorrectly and had to have the pharmacist help her) then another 20 minutes for her to grab 6 pills. I had 2 other prescriptions that weren’t even noticed that needed to be filled but after 40 minutes I said screw it and left. Not to mention the techs arguing with each other in front of a line of customers about who’s going to grab the next customer. Very unprofessional and no customer service. Also had the side of the building almost take me out on my way to the car. See pic for reference.

I setup a 7pm appointment with minute clinic online. I arrived at 6:55 and was told my appointment was not in the system. I had print out the confirmation letter for the appointment. They told me it was not in the system and it may have been for the pharmacy. It was clear it was for the minute clinic. They lied and told me there was another person and the "doctor" would not be able to see me became that appointment was going to be over 40 minutes and it would be after the time for her to be there. It must be nice to conveniently lose a reservation to keep from seeing patients but still get paid for doing nothing! Don't waste your time!

I have used CVS for all my pharmacy needs the past 30 years. In the last 5 years I have begun using this location after moving. After today I will not be using them again. Almost every visit has been an issue. One of the pharmacists is always extremely rude to me and was also to my doctor. There have been multiple issues with my family's perscriptions. I ordered one photo for pickup today and it could not be found. They suggested I use the kiosk. One didn't even work and I walked out after unsuccessfully trying the other multiple times. Save yourself the hassle and visit Rite Aid down the street in Barrington. I love CVS but this location is full of issues, it is disappointing and very frustrating.

Pharmacy is terrible. They are extremely rude. I never seen a pharmacy like it. If I could I would go to Walgreens I would but unfortunately my employer works with CVS for prescriptions so I’m stuck with CVS for now. Don’t waste your time with this pharmacy if you don’t have to. They make you seem like it’s such a hassle to put a script in . I’m sorry I’m asking you to do your job . Also when calling I was disconnected after waiting so I had to call again. I never seen anything so unorganized in my life.

I am only leaving one star in regards to the pharmacist who was incredibly rude to me because she had a snafu with another local pharmacy in regards to transferring my prescription. I’m just a patient who’s waiting to get their medication so I can feel better, she had no reason to be rude to me. It was definitely on them for not transferring my prescription in a timely manner… it took them well over 24 hours and they still had not done it and then blamed the other pharmacy among telling me how busy and hard her job is. I get it people have bad days and peoples jobs can be hard still doesn’t leave room for being rude.

This store is constantly understaffed. I've waited on hold over 30 mins waiting for the pharmacy to pick up and when they do they're tired and pissed. Choose another store to fill your scripts.

I called today to ask this location if they had a medication in stock that I’ve been having trouble finding. The woman I spoke to was so appalling rude, it was disgraceful. She told me they did not have the medication, rudely and abruptly. I then asked if they had a lesser dosage available, to which she replied, “I’m not just going to search through our inventory to tell you what’s in stock and what’s not.” I literally asked about 2 dosages of the same medication. Not to mention, that’s literally her job. The phone call lasted 2 minutes and based on her attitude alone, I will never step foot in that location again. CVS why are you employing people like this who clearly hate helping people they’re hired & paid to help?

As a hospital employee, I urge you to pick literally any other CVS for your prescriptions. Any other pharmacy but this one. The hold times are ridiculous and I see other people have had similar experiences. This is insanity.

This place needs a visit from “UNDERCOVER BOSS!” So glad I read other reviews because I thought I was the only person who felt this was a terrible place to get your medications! Yes, the pharmacist can certainly be rude, yes, most of the staff are miserable people!! I can only imagine that these people in the pharmacy cannot find other jobs so they’re STUCK here. I believe the Regional Manager never visits this Runnemede pharmacy unannounced because heads would roll if she/he read these reviews and visited the store. I have switched today to another pharmacy and reached out to my doctor to transfer all scripts effective today to new pharmacy.

Honestly never seen such a poorly run pharmacy ever. There are a couple techs that are extremely rude for no reason. Mainly, the one older lady who I’ve witnessed arguing with customers for little to no reason on multiple occasions. They never communicate with you if your prescription is on back order or can’t be filled and constantly mess up my prescriptions. I tried to stay with them through the year but they’ve just gotten worst. It’s really not worth it when Walgreens and rite aid nearby offer a much friendly service and actually communicate with you.

Was I nowhere at 640 tonight February 16th and they pharmacist with blonde hair in the white coat was screaming at a pregnant lady saying you have to wait and you "came to early" the pregnant lady didn't have a car and got a ride there and she needed that medication and couldn't miss a dose. Absolutely unprofessional then I go up to get my husbands meds and they do t ha e anything ready (8 hours since drop off) and proceed to not have right insurance on file so now he has to go back up tomorrow for the 3rd time. These people should t be handling medications if they can't get them to the customers

Each month CVS messes up my presciptions, every single month. Last month they told me to pick up at 3:00. I go, 2nd time, she says it is "not ready." I told her, "I will wait." She sends another person over- they blame the insurance." She gave it to me and was rude. Today, One of my presciptions was not ready."they are out if it." Why did you not tell me. They are waiting for my doctor to call back. They want to change dosage? My doctor said, go to another Pharmacy. They called it in to Walgreens and I had it in 10 min. !!!!! Ashley at CVS was so rude, then another customer rudely chimed in. I just went back and dangled my pres. In front of them. The other customer is still there. After 15 years it is time to switch. Called the pres. Person at my doctor's and she switched it in their system so all doctors have new pharmacy on their pad.

If i could, i would give 0 stars. This pharmacy has nothing but bad news. Every time i call, any person who answers always has a nasty attitude no matter who answers the phone, and one guy doesn't listen or let you speak. I dropped off a paper prescription to be filled the day before thanksgiving and the girl who took it had a nasty attitude and was like was there something else while i was standing there like no i didn't know if you needed me for anything else. I took a picture of the prescription incase there were any problems with my insurance and not one person could give me an answer on what was going on with that one they kept saying it was out of refills well how could it be out of refills when i jist dropped the prescription off. I asked one of the pharmacy techs tonight if one of my prescriptions was on auto refill. She states with a bad attitude, i don't know i would have to look and doesn't tell me that answer, like then how did i get refilled i didn't click the refill button for it. This pharmacy is nothing but ignorant people and aggravation when you have to call or go to pick up your prescription. I would try and find a different location.

Unprofessional phone call was on hold and disconnected three different times in a one hour. And than they closed for lunch at 1:30 so over 1hr of three disconnections no one pick up the phone, needless to say my question was never answered for my 84-year-old father that was given a new medication and there were questions that needed to be answered before I could give it to him. They treat you whether it be on the phone or in person or a drive-through very unprofessionally they tell me it’s due to understaffing which should be no excuse that patient and paying customers should have to deal with such behavior I advise anyone I know there are better CVS stores out there but the convenience of the location has a lot to do with it as well we have 12 family members who have dealt with CVS in the past six have already left and after this experience today I will be contacting my other six siblings to make sure that we do move our business all to Walgreens! After speaking to my six family members who have already left and went to Walgreens they have had such a better customer service and attention to detail along with professional treatment. CVS you have a terrible business model that is very frustrating to customers that need to call in when they are caregivers to the elderly this conversation has went on for a long time with other people as well sad to say goodbye CVS.

Been going here for 6 years and only because it's literally right next to my house. I don't know why they think it's ok to be very rude. This isn't people waiting for a new TV to purchase, it's sick people who need medication. I feel very attacked everytime I try to make a Transaction, as if it is my fault I need an antibiotic. I once had a staff member tell me to call back to check in 2 hours, when I did, another girl yelled at me saying why am I calling so soon?!

I would provide a zero star rating if possible. Bed incident in the store with an employee was promised a gift card. Spoke to several managers claiming it was sent after I tried to pick it up several times. Not once can anyone confirm the tracking was provided for the card. Regional store manager mentioned it was sent out several times and basically calling me a liar like I would try to claim a gift card. I mentioned that I would leave CVS pharmacy for medication they seem to care less.

So many issues with this pharmacy. Not only are they rude but they can't even be bothered to call you or make an effort when something goes wrong. Too many times I've not even received a text about an order status or received false information about the order status. I hate this place.
