Place looks like a haunted house. I have a 8 month old Boxer who wouldnt stay on the scale. He kept sliding off.They charged me $80 for an "aggressive " dog because of it. My dog let's strangers take bones out of his mouth and is friendly to our cat and ferret. No.AGGRESSIVENESS AT ALL. He is a big goof. $80? For what?? They don't even tell you they are charging you this until.you get home and see the fee squeezed in the bill. SCAM. My friend went there once and said the doctor smelled like alcohol!

Dr. Tucker and her staff are awesome, caring, compassionate and knowledgeable. My family started using her services after getting a puppy for our little one. From our first visit to present day, we have been satisfied with how our puppy has been treated. Any questions or concerns will be answered. They make you feel comfortable and if you have an antsy or jittery animal, they too, will be made at ease. I started coming to EVC in October of 2018 when I first got my dog, Diamond Joy. Aster I put down my previous dog, Christian, I was hesitant to get another dog. After I started the process of vaccinations with my new dog, I knew this would be my dog veterinarian for life. Whenever I had ANY issue with my dog Dr. Tucker took care of it. To the time when my dog had an ear infection to recently with her eye infection. Whenever there is ANYTHING wrong with my dog she immediately accommodates me and my dog and squeezes us in for an appointment. Dr. Tucker is caring and thorough and always explains what terms mean (in normal people terminology). She always says the issue, what caused the issue, what will happen if the issue isn’t resolved, and the long term damage. She is very considerate to pet owners because she understands owning a pet is expensive and she’s very realistic in costs. She always tries to help me save money when taking of my dog. Always suggesting I get my dog insurance, even though I keep forgetting. Dr. Tucker is truly an amazing veterinarian and most of all animal lover. Don’t let no one speak negative on this vet because they try their hardest to accommodate every pet lover. I am grateful that I’ve found a doctor that truly has my dogs best interest at heart. Dr. Tucker has been my family veterinarian for more than 2 decades. We have trusted her and her staff with all of our dogs, and have had everything from routine vaccinations to invasive surgeries done at her practice. She's incredibly diligent, knowledgeable, and caring, and is an amazing partner in the care of your companion animal.I'd also recommend discussing acupuncture and cold laser therapy with her, as she incorporates these into treatments quite successfully.Dr. Tucker takes pride in explaining her diagnoses and treatment plans, and can do so in English AND Spanish. She is a truly wonderful vet!

Dr Tucker and her team are great. My dog is almost 14 and still going thanks to them. He has had overnight stays with them when sick and they always take good care of him and alert me to his status. Great vet and team.

I have a 2 year old Malchi who has seen Dr. Tucker since I got him at 3months old. I now have a 2.5 siberian husky pup and thought what better place to bring her for her shots. At first I told my fiance is take her to people for animals (who are phenomenal price wise AND with exceptional handling and care of pets) but he said he didn't care about the cost and just wanted our little one vaccinated as soon as possible. I had both dogs with me waiting outside and explained to the receptionist who suggested I wait in the car with the two and fill out the paperwork. I told her it would be a lot to manage them both and that i would fill out the paperwork inside. (Paperwork which is the exact same information they asked me over the phone prior to the visit) never gave me a wait time or that the doctor was with another pet patient and would be wrapping up soon. I left. There are too many other vets out there, and staff members who actually value the time of their pet parent clients and pets.

This is the worst place to take your pet too. They charge you way to much money for things you didn't ask or approve. They don't ask you if it's ok to do any lab work or give an injection to your pet. They take it upon themselves to try your pet and then they want you to pay a huge bill..please go somewhere else.

Words cannot describe how disappointed I am with Dr. Tucker and her staff. They are not reliable especially if you need them to send an okay on refills. I have call multiple times to her office just for my dog refills on nexgard and heartgard from chewy. I have mention on multiple occasions to the doctor and her staff (Annmarie and Melissa) I needed a letter from her to give to another clinic that administrated more affordable vaccines stating that my dog never had any allergic reactions from a vaccine. Finally after two weeks of dealing with them, I talked to Dr. Tucker on the phone. I explained to her that I couldn't afford to take my dog to get all his vaccines with her because how expensive it is and plus I am paying myself through school. Dr. Tucker could care less and told me she would not write the letter because she said her self "my clinic gives high quality vaccines." So in other words, she saying that other places are not giving quality vaccines. The only part of her "high quality vaccines" is how expensive they are. Dr. Tucker was very rude and unprofessional when she was on the phone with me. She was noway sympathetic on my situation or that my dog needed these vaccines. I learned at the end of the day Dr. Tucker and her staff do not care for our lovely pets, but how much money she can gain from new or previous pet owners. I should have listen to the many poor reviews she was given by others who experienced her unprofessionalism, cold personality, and her nonexistent sympathy. I advise you to take the pet that you love to another vet that actually cares about the health of your pet and not the money.

Very Unprofessional! They lost my 10 month old dog's blood test and I never received a refund! And all they try to do there is take money out of your pockets! They only care about money and do not take the babies (dogs/animals) into consideration! They also claimed my dog had liver problems and gave me Medicine and in reality he was fine. This medicine is now causing problems with his health. DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL! PLEASE DON'T GO HERE!

Don't ever go there!!!!! The doctor is the worst. She makes you feel like you are not a good pet owner she always puts fear in you. She is pricey over charges and is not sympathetic. She told me my dog needed immediate surgery not weighing any other options. Telling me to rush down to the hospital now I was worried and frantic. Loudly she said are you hesitating he will not make it and made me feel so low. Long story short I went for a second opinion else where and my dog did not need surgery the vet felt bad for the expierence I had with her and said good choice that I came for a second opinion. My dog is on medicine and he is just fine. Please save your $ time and aggravation please!!!! Don't go to her even if she is the only help you can get.

the staff is amazing. no wait times. BUT be prepared to pay a huge bill. i paid over $500 at my first visit. she cross sells products that she sells in the office without you knowing. she is great at it. not worth the high prices

so disappointed! my dog was with vomiting and diarrhea for few days , DR. said she need it to do X-rays and blood work , call me 4 hours later saying my dog need it emergency surgery because he was dying , DR said she could of done surgery right away but she wouldn’t do a 24/7 watch on him . i said no , she said hospital was going to charge me 6,000 for a emergency surgery.I decided to take him to HOSPITAL ON ROUTE 22 . TURNS OUT THAT MY DOG WAS JUST BLOWED IT BECAUSE HE HAD OVER ATE .OH I PAID 1,100 for Blood work, X-RAYS ! CRAZY EXPENSIVE!!!NEVER GOING BACK !

0 STARS IF I COULD. I have been going to Dr. Tucker since i rescued my dog about 5 years ago. I took my dog here in May for blood work as he was getting cataract surgery. The specialist needed blood work done to make sure my dog was all ready to go. Dr. Tucker did the blood work and I asked the staff to fax over results to specialist. The specialist received the blood work but not the chemistry panel. I called Dr. Tuckers office numerous of time and left numerous message before I can get her on the phone. She read the results to me and said my dog was fine and ready for surgery. She said she was going to fax chemistry panel over. The day before surgery the specialist never got the panel. I called again and Dr. Tucker said she had lost the results. She advised me to take my dog to the hospital and they can re-run the panel. I advised her why would i do that since I already paid her for it. After going back and forth she advised me to bring him in again so she can do blood work again. She then tells me that my dog has diabetes. I was shocked and in dis-concern. I was confused since she advised me a few days before that his results were fine and clean. She advised that my dog can still go ahead with surgery and the specialist can treat the diabetes. The day of the surgery at about 6 am the hospital calls me and tells me NO WAY they can preform surgery on a new diagnosed diabetic dog. I asked what would of happened if we all did not know that my dog was diabetic. The specialist said, they would of probably got in under control but it could of been fatal. Dr. Tucker does not care for the pets, she only cares about they money. My dog was hospitalized for 3 days trying to control the diabetes as he got real sick out of nowhere. I have spent a lot of money since. DO NOT TAKE YOUR LOVED PETS HERE. I AM SO DISAPPOINTED IN DR. TUCKER!!! I will never put my dog in harms way.

I called about a procedure for my 2 new kittens, Annemarie told me the price per kitten was $600.00 over the phone before I made an appt to bring them in but after waiting over an hour even though I sent in all my paperwork the night before and getting to my appointment time early I had a very bad, upsetting appointment. We hot hit with a price of $1,100 PER kitten despite the fact they were in good health. Annemaria denied speaking to me even though I wrote her name down. That is a big jump in price without a good explanation. Then because I asked questions the doctor turned us away. Unbelievable! Very unprofessional, unempathetic, unreasonable. I dont recommend this business at all.

You look like an ATM when you go there. Good vet, but money matters there. My first visit my dog was a puppy, which was free ck up for me, the dr didn't notice the earmites until the second visit. How convenient. They do good care, but he was treated to clen his glands about 3 months ago, they left him bleeding, which wasn't a good care. Probably was someone practicing in my buddy, not good.

Wait times even with appointment are horrible, expect to wait approximately 30 minutes minimum after your appointment time. Prices are high and they try and get every dollar from you on each visit by running or suggesting unnecessary tests and exams.My puppy is 5 months old barely and they wanted to run a heart-worm test just to approve for me to purchase heart-worm from elsewhere. Yet they gave us a free trial without tests. Doesn't seem right to me.I now go to Roselle Park Animal Hospital For better prices on shots and office visits.

My dog fell down the stairs in July, after being frightened by fireworks going off. The staff was incredibly accommodating and managed to squeeze us in. The vet suggested my dog wear a “thunder shirt” to ease her anxiety. I was skeptical to say the least but it was actually A great suggestion. My dog actually gets excited to wear it. We went back a few weeks ago for shots, not having seen the vet since July, and she asked how my dog had been doing with the anxiety, etc. I like that she makes it a point to follow up even if your current visit doesn’t pertain to the last. The vet speaks to you in a way you understand, and aren’t feeling overwhelmed. The Staff is also friendly, helpful, and empathic, which is great.

This place is disgusting, including the staff and doctor. If your older or have a disability, they don’t want your business. They don’t work with people that have too many “problems”.Unprofessional to say the least. Honestly if you love your pet don’t come here. These people don’t care about pets. Especially, because the doctor supports and encourages the unprofessionalism amongst his employees.
