This place is absolutely amazing!!! Tommy and his staff are great! They treat their clients with care, love and purpose! My dogs love Tommy! Congrats to Tommy for going from an in home groomer to owning his own salon goodbye stinky paws in rockaway. I was a little nervous to bring my dog today because my dog is so scared of other dogs and his new salon is a crate free salon. But Barcella did fantastic there, she was so happy to see Tommy even though it was not the normal place our home where she was groomed before by Tommy. She was not stressed when I picked her up and she has a perfect cut. Going into there today I told Tommy Barcella has been being treated by my vet for an ear infection. He washed her without washing her head to avoid any water from going near her ear. And he hand cut her head and ears to avoid upsetting her ear. Very patient and so compassionate to my concerns of my baby. The salon looks amazing, and the staff was so welcoming. I traveled 35 minutes away to follow Tommy to his new location so happy I did.

Please, if you have not already taken your furry family member to Good-bye Stinky Paws DO IT NOW! I rescued my baby Luna who had never before experienced love and compassion.. Tommy, Kevin and Ashley gave Luna the ultimate princess pampering and when I picked her up she held her head high with the confidence of a show dog! I can’t thank you enough!!

Tommy and Kevin and staff are so friendly and caring with the pups. I love the cage free environment - It keeps me and my dog relaxed, knowing she’s not trapped in a cage for hours waiting to be treated.Salon is absolutely gorgeous and worth a little drive because living in Vernon you don’t have The easy access to great store selection!! It’s in an easy spot to find!! Ellie was happy to have a big window to see the world (and look for mom!)

We have been going to this groomer since it was Pawfections, and been there through all 3 owner changes. The new owners of Good-bye Stinky Paws are great! Ryder, Duke and Macie love it!! Macie never wanted to go into the salon before now she has no problem with the new owners!! Good-bye stinky paws is amazing!! They are down to earth and love our pups!! I can't say enough wonderful things about my experience at Good-Bye Stinky Paws! From my very first contact I was impressed with the friendliness, interest & kindness I got on the phone while discussing my pets needs & making an appointment. Things only got better from there, as from the moment we arrived we were treated with great kindness & very warmly greeted. Their obvious love for animals & the sincere way they approached the grooming process was so genuine, yet they were entirely professional & skilled. The outcome was magnificent & my sweet girl looked absolutely adorable! I was so delighted, I booked our next appointment that same day!! I highly recommend Tommy, Kevin & Good-bye Stinky Paws!!

Good Bye Stinky Paws is awesome. I had a senior blind dog and no groomer would come to my home. Tommy was the only one who came and treated my dog like he was his own and was so gentle with him. I took my new Australian Shepherd puppy to the salon with a haircut in mind. Tommy let us know that was not the right cut for him.They did an amazing job on Cocoa. Tommy and Kevin are freindly and caring towards your pets. I highly recommend giving them your business. You won't be disappointed.

Disappointed with the appointment. Grooming took three hours and was very uneven plus the rate increased by a lot. Unfortunately, we will be looking for a new groomer.Update: I had to call after three hours to see if my dog was ready when you told me that it would take 1.5 to 2 hrs. When I picked up my dog, I immediately told a woman there that he had a crusty spot on his side...she explained that it was yeast. But never bothered to look at it or try to fix it. Hence, I never said that my dog looked fantastic! I did tip 18% but normally I tip 25% to 30% for a good cut. Also, if the cut was good, I would have left a positive Google Review for you at check out, when the girl who checked me out told me that she would take 5% off bill for leaving one.Once I got home, I noticed he had numerous random spots not cut, especially around his ears and chest and two random toe nails not cut (which were not on his infected foot)Sorry, I normally do not complain about a service but the grooming was definitely not worth $94 (which included the tip) Moreover, if you had a problem with my dog's age, you should have explained the issues you ran into at pick up.

Tommy groomed my dog Maple and made her look beautiful. He took his time since she was a little nervous and trimmed her with scissors so she did not shake from the buzzer. He was very professional and made sure I was happy with his work before leaving. I would highly recommend him.

Goodbye stinky paws does an amazing job! I've worked with them for a couple of years. They are so personable and you can tell they really care about your pet. My dogs cut is always perfect and chatting with them is always a pleasure, too! They're so knowledgeable about pets!

I've been using Good-Bye Stinky Paws as the groomer for my not-so-groom-happy pup for the past two years. Tommy and Kevin have done excellent work with Wink, despite Wink's occasional attitude while being groomed. He always looks terrific when they finish up with them. Wink had the pleasure of being groomed at the Rockaway location in March and we look forward to his next appointment there later this month!

I am so happy to be a part of the Stinky Paws Grooming Salon ! From the very beginning, Tommy and Kevin wereso welcoming and have such positive personalities and remain to be the same til this day. They are so dedicated to their work with their clients! I admire their morals and views on being as kind to each clients dog as their own . I’ve watched Tommy and Kevin go above and beyond to make this salon the very best it can be . They are definitely an inspiring couple and business couple . We have been longtime customers of Pawfection. The business recently transitioned from K-9 Cuts to Good-Bye Stinky Paws. We were nervous, but once we came in for the first bath, the worries went away. Everyone treated Brock like he was family - just like before. It's great that you can schedule appointments online and have text communication as well. Scheduling has been flexible too!

Disenchanted by attitude. After having three pets as clients with previous staff at Pawfection for nearly a decade, I understood the high quality and care that made their customers' demand strong enough that new clients were turned away. I always knew that the drama-free, professional environment as the gem of Morris County would not be indefinite. Sadly, it appears that the time is now and all good things must come to an end. What was once a lovely experience has turned into something less and instead now focuses on replacing trusted staff, griping about the previous business (which was the pinnacle of excellence), and responding with painfully fictitious and personal attacks on negative posts. (I am even certain that they will craft a response to this.)Strangely, the new service spends some of its resources on photographing pets and superimposing them on backgrounds. I'm not sure why they would waste time on this; simply maintaining the high standards of the previous business have been elusive.Ultimately, I am left to look for a new groomer that wishes to establish a long-term, positive relationship free from back-biting and cooking up drama. Ultimately, I know that the more time that is spent on facebook posts, photographs, and who-knows-what-else is less time and attention that is spent on what should be excellent grooming and care of my pets.

5 stars all around!! I was looking for a new groomer for my Husky Kovu and my MIL and SIL found Goodbye Stinky Paws right before they took over the Salon in Rockaway. I took Kovu the first week of their salon opening in March. Kovu looked fantastic when I picked him up as he was going through one of his weather changing sheds. Kovu was so happy when I picked him up which was the most important part for me! I just took him again yesterday since he was really starting to blow his coat for spring/summer. He looked and smelled great as always!! I always look forward to getting a picture of Kovu after his groom! Can’t recommend Tommy and Kevin enough!!

**Attention Pawfection/K-9 Cuts clients: Karina and Lori no longer work for Good Bye Stinky Paws.** While this isn’t the sole basis of my review, it’s a point that has not been communicated clearly by the new owners.Unfortunately my concerns arose from the get go when the salon changed hands. It took four phone calls (no messages returned) over many weeks for me to amend my May appointment. When I finally reached them by phone, they assured me I’d no longer have to book that far in advance, and with their updated system and increased staffing I’d be able to schedule with much shorter notice. Regrettably, I never experienced their online booking system without glitches.This week, we had an appointment on Tuesday morning. At 10pm on Monday night I received a text saying they were down a groomer and asked me if I could reschedule. I’m happy to accommodate when things come up, but I was surprised by the late text and that there was minimal apology or effort to give me the next available appointment (they rescheduled me for 10 days later). I wasn’t expecting a discount, but for context, they make their cancellation fee very clear if YOU cancel within 24 hours. As a new client to them, I expected a touch more humility.My family has been clients of Pawfection for the last twenty years and though we were sad that it was changing ownership, we were delighted our trusted staff would be staying on as the new owners realized their vision - something that was confirmed in person by the new owner when we met, is detailed on their website in the staff section, and is in their Facebook bio reading, “New owners”… “Same amazing staff!”Recently Good Bye Stinky Paws posted on FB and introduced their staff. I didn’t see Lori’s name so I commented to question if she was still with them. (I knew Karina has been on family leave.) I got a surprisingly evasive/defensive response, and I later learned from another source that Lori was essentially laid off. Stinky Paws maintains that no one was let go, however Lori was told that she is not going to be put on the schedule until they build their client base. I also learned that Karina will not be returning to the salon following her family leave - she was told they could only offer her a part time spot upon her return. Karina and Lori are actively pursuing other employment options at this time and are no longer at this salon.I don’t admonish the new owners for wanting to staff it with their people - it’s disappointing, but it’s business. My critical review and dismay stems from a lack of transparency and a general feeling of not being valued as an inherited client. To the new owners: understand that you inherited a healthy, enthusiastic clientele, whose trust Karina and Lori spent years maintaining. Not being clear about Karina and Lori’s future with you is deceptive, and at the very least inconsiderate, as are your communication methods. There was a way to professionally and concisely address the question I posed without giving excessive detail, but the wording you chose lead directly to the uncomfortable comment skirmish that followed (that you later deleted).When we hand over our fur babies to a groomer’s care we can only trust them at their word that they’re doing right by us and our pets. Give me reason to question your word, and I have no choice but to entrust my dog to someone else.I encourage a follow-up from the owners and trust that they have the business acumen to address my experience thoughtfully, respectfully, and without blocking. Best of luck to the new owners as well as to Karina and Lori.UPDATE: following the owner’s response to my review, I was blocked on Facebook. Their response (which it looks like they removed) was uncomfortable and excessive, as were the defamatory FB posts they created and later deleted. “I’m sorry we didn’t meet your expectations. We hope to do right by you in the future. Lori is not with us at this time,” would have been a more than satisfactory response to my valid criticism while remaining honest and professional. Very disappointing.

I had an amazing experience with the ladies at K9 Cuts! My golden doodle has never looked better! I had been taking him to another groomer & was not happy with them. Pawfection is hands down the best place in Morris County for grooming! The women are extremely kind and gentle and you can see they truly love what they do. I have been bringing Lexie (my yorkie) to Pawfection since she was a puppy (she'll be 13 this month!) and I'm always very pleased with their work. I love how they match her bows to the season and/or holiday and they always treat her as I would. I know I have nothing to fear when I drop her off. My sister also brings her dogs here as well and she is just as happy as I am. I absolutely recommend Pawfection, if you can get an appointment :)
