I was happily referred by a friend when I told her I got our first puppy and had no clue how to cut his nails. The owner was very helpful, kind, quick to respond & nice. We ABSOLUTELY LOVED our experience with Pampered Pooches! I have cut our puppy Scouts hair before but he’s never had it professionally done till now. What a difference, lol. Cutting his nails I didn’t want to hurt him so I knew I had to find help. My daughter loved everything about the professional job they did! She loved the fluffy tail, how his ears were perfectly shaped, how he finally had short nails, & was thrilled how fantastic Scout looked and smelled! They even attached a bandanna, which was such an adorable touch! We chose the mobile service which is reasonably priced and they did everything right in front of the house which is extremely convenient! We loved our experience and will be returning costumers! This place 🙌🏻💗

Alex grooms our Archie so impeccably! He’s got alot of hair for an Aussie, and loves seeing her. Just mention her name and he’s so excited! Would never go to any other groomer - ever!

Outstanding first experience with this groomer. Great communication every step and Alex did a wonderful job with our sweet foster kitty. Charlie came back looking and smelling fantastic. After a hard start on the streets, he’s looking ready for his forever home thanks to Pampered Pooches!

There were 3 dog grooming places near where we live in New Milford and none of them answered the phone when I called on a busy Friday morning. However, the answering machine at Pampered Pooches said we could text message, so I did. Someone replied right away and that, plus their 5 stars on Google, made me give them our business. I just wanted to bring my chihuahua mix, Leo, in for a nail trimming. They told me they had availability on Saturday, the price and how long it would take. We were 30 minutes early but they were able to accommodate us right away. They cut our Leo's nails in 5 minutes. Boy, did he scream like the woman was cutting off his paws (she didn't) but that's why we couldn't do it ourselves at home, because it always took me TWO HOURS. Our biggest fear was something bad happening to our furbaby at the groomer's but I was pleased when they did it right where we could see and so quickly, even when he cried bloody murder and wouldn't stay still. Leo's nails were not perfectly even in the end (and I didn't expect them to be), but for the price and speed, I will definitely go back. He doesn't have that much of a phobia of the nail grinder as much as he does of the clippers, so I was able to smooth and even out his nails at home in no time. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone.

People there were pleasant. Took my dog there for the first time and asked for a trim and unfortunately did this to his tail. This is not a trim, and it completely destroyed the way his tailed looked. They might do a fine job on other dogs but not on cavaliers.

This was my first time bringing my dog Tito here. Dawn was his groomer and she was amazing! I have a sensitive dog who is a bit sickly and she was so sweet and so great with him.. He looks great! So happy I found my new groomer!

Alex is absolutely incredible!!! She is so friendly and great with my dog, Jax. He can definitely be small but mighty and Alex knows how to handle him perfectly. She takes care of him above and beyond what I ask for in her mobile grooming truck. A few times Jax has had overly long nails and she goes above to grind them down so that my pup is comfortable :). Affordable and she is super flexible with her schedule too! I recommend Alex to everyone- her mobile grooming truck is the best!!

1st time using pampered pooches for my 8 month old mini goldendoodle. I’m very happy with how she looks. Alex really takes the time to make sure each dog looks perfect before they go home. I brought my doggie, Gracie, there for the first time today. I met Dawn the Groomer. I went back two hours later to pick up Gracie and was greeted by Raul and Junny the groomer. Gracie looked beautiful. I think it was a very positive experience and I am thrilled as is Gracie. She was so thrilled that she is now sleeping. I recommend the staff in River Edge.

B E W A R E ! ! Picked up my pup yesterday after hour bath and trim. When I got home we noticed that he was injured. When I called and texted the shop, I got nothing till this morning, with them telling me they did not notice the chunk they took off his face! He must have let out quite a yell. No apologies. I don’t think they really care about animals. Had to visit the vet and get prescription eye ointment!

GROOMER OF THE TOWN!!I have to say, this is the best groomer I've ever seen. She's very patient with my dog Cruze, and I love how happy he is after he leaves. I don't have to be concerned because they pay attention to the services I request for my dog. Overall, I love them, and I appreciate everything you guys do for our pets and the community. I'd give them more stars if I could.

Alex and her team are absolutely wonderful. We had a great experience. Alex gave our maincoon/Persian cat mix a lion cut and left her looking beautiful. We first met Alex a few years ago while she was working at a different groomer. When that groomer closed, we became customers of her Mobile Shop and now have brought our Sophie (Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier) to her new salon in River Edge.Alex and her team of professional groomers treat our little girl like a queen at a spa every single time she visits. The shop is clean, well lit and groomers make the safety of their clients a top priority. Although Wheaten's can be difficult to cut, I can honestly say that the talented staff at PP have never left us disappointed!

Live in northern New Jersey the town of Dumont over the last 15 years I have used a variety of dog groomers that I have not been satisfied with (Don’t waste your money) I recommend Pampered Pooches you would be very satisfied! 100% you can’t get better than that!
