Pleasant stop for a BLT, prepared foods (including a great veggie lasagna), and sweet stuff. The bread pudding is a must: moist, not too sweet, and no overwhelming nutmeg. Friendly service. Worth the journey.

Went with high hopes for a great spot, took one bite of pastrami and threw it in the garbage. Pastrami was cold flesh like mystery meat, employee didnt mention slaw was vinegar based on didn't go well. NO bathroom, not sure how that is possible when they have tables. Never go there its worth driving any place else.

This is a local favorite for breakfast and lunch. I go there for the tasty chicken salad sandwich, bag of chips and hot coffee. The sandwich is so big that I share it with my hubby. We eat inside and when weather is warm, outside. We leave happy every time!

I have been living in pottersville for 23 years. The sandwich here are top notch. Amazing bread and overall ingredients. Best Italian sub in NJ. the gentleman with the pony tail at the front desk is always super friendly.

I absolutely love the chicken cutlets at this deli. They are so delicious. But I rate this at 3 stars because I don’t think 1 piece of chicken is worth $6.99. Honestly that was more than a cheeseburger on their menu. I was shocked but felt obligated to buy it because I didn’t want to waste the container. Seriously think about what you are charging people. Be a human yourself before you outrageously overcharge. 1 piece of chicken dude. Get over yourself.

We stopped there recently and ordered 2 sandwiches. They were delicious. The bread was fresh and the Ham and Roast beef tasted a notch above the normal stuff you can get in a supermarket. Great sandwiches.

Absolutely horrible! I called to have food catered, and the staff was beyond rude. The food was ok, nt worth the price. Go elsewhere!

3/5 sandwich toppings, 3/5 stars. I ordered a sandwich with 5 items on it. I received 3 of those 5 items. I think a 3 star rating is very generous in this situation. Taking an order and making a sandwich from that order is a very simple concept. It wasn't even busy, so I really do not understand how you can mess this up.

Mostly a food prep location for their catering business for the well-heeled residents of the surrounding area, but as a deli the food is a cut above. Good to great sandwiches, depends on who is working that day. Avoid weekends.

No longer Sheps for sure! Lived in Pottersville from 1970 to 1982. First time back in 39 years and the place was locked up tight with the lights off at 3:33pm. And yes I saw they closed at 3:30. Thankfully Rambos in Califon was open and the sandwich was great

Nice selection of sandwiches. Try the Sloppy Joe....you won't be disappointed. Lots of meat, soft tasty bread. Big sandwich! Outdoor seating as well which you can't beat on a nice day.

Good food, great sandwiches, go for the turkey with cranberry sauce or the prosutto with balsamic. Order the half if you are really hungry, its big in a great way. They have good empanadas and prepared food as well.
